The second (SI unit symbol: s) is the International System of Units (SI) base unit of time and also a unit of time in other systems (abbreviated s or sec). Between 1000 (when al-Biruni used seconds) and 1960 the second was defined as 1/86,400 of a mean solar day (that definition still applies in some astronomical and legal contexts). Between 1960 and 1967, it was defined in terms of the period of the Earth's orbit around the Sun in 1900, but it is now defined more precisely in atomic terms. Seconds may be measured using mechanical, electric or atomic clocks.
However, 19th- and 20th-century astronomical observations revealed that this average time is lengthening and thus the sun–earth motion is no longer considered a suitable basis for definition. With the advent of atomic clocks, it became feasible to define the second based on fundamental properties of nature. Since 1967, the second has been defined to be:
SI prefixes are frequently combined with the word second to denote subdivisions of the second, e.g., the millisecond (one thousandth of a second), the microsecond (one millionth of a second), and the nanosecond (one billionth of a second). Though SI prefixes may also be used to form multiples of the second such as kilosecond (one thousand seconds), such units are rarely used in practice. The more common larger non-SI units of time are not formed by powers of ten; instead, the second is multiplied by 60 to form a minute, which is multiplied by 60 to form an hour, which is multiplied by 24 to form a day.
Lionel Andrés Messi (Spanish pronunciation: [ljoˈnel anˈdɾes ˈmesi], born 24 June 1987) is an Argentine footballer who plays in La Liga for FC Barcelona and is the captain of the Argentina national team, mainly as a forward.
By the age of 21, Messi had received Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year nominations. The following year in 2009 he won both the Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year, and won the inaugural FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2010 and 2011. He also won the 2010–11 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. Messi is the fourth football player to win three Ballons d'Or, after Johan Cruyff, Michel Platini and Marco van Basten and the second player to win three consecutive Ballons d'Or, after Michel Platini. His playing style and small stature have drawn comparisons to Diego Maradona, who himself declared Messi as his "successor".
Messi has won five La Liga titles and three Champions League titles. In 2012, Messi made UEFA Champions League history by becoming the first player to score five goals in one match, in a 7–1 win against Bayer Leverkusen. With two goals in the next round against A.C. Milan, he matched José Altafini's record of 14 goals in a single UEFA Champions League/European Cup season. He also became the first player to top-score in four successive European Champion Clubs' Cup campaigns. He set the world record for most goals scored in a season during the 2011–12 season, with 73 goals.

Fencing is a science. Loving is a passion. Duelling is an obsession.
Gabriel Feraud: I knew a man who was stabbed to death by a woman; gave him the surprise of his life.::Laura: I once knew a woman who was beaten to death by a man. I don't think it surprised *her* at all.
Armand D'Hubert: I am going to be killed responsibly, on horseback, as a compliment to the cavalry.
Armand D'Hubert: General Feraud has made occasional attempts to kill me. That does not give him the right to claim my acquaintance.
Armand D'Hubert: We came here to kill each other. Any ground is suitable for that.
Armand D'Hubert: Isn't this marriage-broking getting a little out of fashion?::Leonie: Nothing sensible goes out of fashion.
[talking about a marriage]::Armand D'Hubert: If I were to neglect making you a proposal, no blame would attach to you. And I think perhaps you might be saved from a... sad dull life.::Adele: If you neglect to make me a proposal, my uncle will go mad.::Armand D'Hubert: Damn it, you are not put on this earth to coddle your uncle.
[first lines]::Narrator: The duellist demands satisfaction. Honour, for him, is an appetite. This story is about an eccentric kind of hunger. It is a true story and begins in the year that Napoleon Bonaparte became ruler of France.
Leonie: A good marriage settles down quietly, like moss.
[last lines]::Armand D'Hubert: You have kept me at your beck and call for fifteen years. I shall never again do what you demand of me. By every rule of single combat, from this moment your life belongs to me. Is that not correct? Then I shall simply declare you dead. In all of your dealings with me, you'll do me the courtesy to conduct yourself as a dead man. I have submitted to your notions of honor long enough. You will now submit to mine.
Gabriel Feraud: You've insulted me!::Armand D'Hubert: I have strained my patience in order NOT to insult you.::Gabriel Feraud: I demand an apology!
A cut above the rest !
Ladd pays off for a wronged girl who was a "right guy!".
He's a fighting reporter making front page history!.
Leona: What did you take as a seditive before you met me?
Ed Adams: Your face is flushed, baby.::Leona: I'm a little dizzy. I don't get along very well with champagne; and you shouldn't have looked at me like that.

King Charles II: [at a royal ball] Look at them. My loving subjects. You'd never know that half of them danced in Puritan garb while my father went to the chopping block.::Amber St. Clair: [moved] No wonder you seek solace in amusement, sire. [slyly] Can a common trollop help you to forget?

I'm consumed
Keep me connected to the ground
They make me out to be so cold
An exercise of self-criticism
I am sure that It won't come off
What have I got?. It's a drastic change...
And I can consider things are going well...
Look inside
Muscles contracting
Getting numb
Nerves made of stone
How soon we forget it, How quick we ignore where we are coming from
Refresh my mind frequently
What have I got?. It's a drastic change...
And I can consider things are going well...
You're the North
Don't move away or I'll become
Useless junk
I am begging you
Don't give up
I've never felt so insecure.
Useless junk
I am begging you
How soon we forget it, How quick we ignore where we are coming from
Refresh my mind frequently
Unusual terms.
I closed my mouth
Tears describing what we had to do
They were changing the rules
You're the North
Don't move away or I'll become
Useless junk
I am begging you
Don't give up
I've never felt so insecure.
Useless junk
I am begging you
You're the north
Don't move away or I'll become
Useless junk
I am begging you
Don't give up
I've never felt so insecure.
Useless junk
It's a different way to express oneself to someone else
What do you feel?
All the sounds around the world,
They're telling stories ... stories.
It's a different kind of life
I couldn't exactly explain how much I like.
Lying on the grass my past seems to be burning,
It's burning ... and I can't stop.
And I cared less for stupid things
But you now how to spoil my plans.
Behind the pose of serious girls you can't no longer hide ...
Where have you been? ...
You look so real ...
Where have you been? ...
You look so real ...
In my room
A thousand voices out of tune.
I could be in the center of the universe.
It wouldn't be the same without your presence.
I don't really want to be without your presence.
Cause I'm used to ... I'm used to you, and I can't stop
And I cared less for stupid things
But you now how to spoil my plans.
Behind the pose of serious girls you can't no longer hide ...
Where have you been? ...
You look so real ...
Where have you been? ...
You look so real ...
My real coldest dream.
You've had enough.
If you wouldn't have emotions.
The mirror
Is not reflecting the disgraceful image
That I used to see in front of me
A glimmer of hope that comforts me . I' m safe
I'm safe, I'm safe, I'm safe, I'm safe
Unimportant chosen ways
Getting better
In a general state
I' m safe, I'm safe, I'm safe
Never stepping back
Nobody turns around
Looking straight forward
We'll be in touch
I 'm safe, I'm safe, I'm safe,
A breakdown
I'm the being I wish to be
The movements
not predictible
The pieces had run away
breaking all the rules and...
I can't avoid it, this is the choice
I can't avoid it, this is the choice
Following the lights out there
Superficial tendencies removed from my routine
They're belongings from an erased world
It's not a shame, shame, shame
I got disconnected, unplugging cables from machines
And the burden has been properly towed away
Studied plan
I need to run
Smells like burnt
I need to run
I can't avoid it, this is the choice
I can't avoid it, this is the choice
Following the lights out there
Superficial tendencies removed from my routine
They're belongings from an erased world
It's not a shame, shame, shame
I got disconnected, unplugging cables from machines
And the burden has been properly towed away
Following the lights out there
Superficial tendencies removed from my routine
They're belongings from an erased world
It's not a shame, shame, shame
I got disconnected, unplugging cables from machines
Waking up, the big globe spins.
Another lovely bird singing
Modulating sounds, so delicate...
I'm watching
Every single detail of the texture of her skin,
Made me realise that elegance is not for sale in supermarkets
I drew a line, a re-creation of her shape
Makes me feel just like I am not wrong, no mistakes.
Meet me on the corner
I will treat you like a challenge
We can find a way, for a perfect day
Is it good enough?. Here's my heart beat
Possible distortion of the truth, a lack of communication
I'm in need of your comprehension. Fragile merchandise
Swimming out of the water, the miles were getting hard
Our thoughts will be so close and we'll be fine
Meet me on the corner
I will treat you like a challenge
We can find a way, for a perfect day
Is it good enough?. Here's my heart
Give me a chance
And drop me a line
I will give my soul away
I can't swear this will be the last time
Is it good enough for a perfect day?
I drew a line, a re-creation of her shape
Makes me feel just like I am not wrong, no mistakes.
Meet me on the corner
I will treat you like a challenge
We can find a way, for a perfect day
Is it good enough?. Here's my heart
Give me a chance
And drop me a line
I will give my soul away
I can't swear this will be the last time
Is it good enough for a perfect day?
For today... for today... for today... for today.
Meet me on the corner
I will treat you like a challenge
We can find a way, for a perfect day
we can face it all now
And I'll take what is given to me
And I'll realize I'm not going home
And after a while, when all of your currency's gone
DIFFERENT LEVELS
Useless place, so virgin
Secrets, unexplored lands...
Quiet room while we talk
Nothing more, no one's around
There's a funny moon above our heads laughing at you and me
And she likes to count certain words, certain words...
And they say that's not a common way
That's the trouble, different levels
They can think what they want to think
That's the trouble, different levels, different levels...
Such different levels...
Something grows, old fashioned notes
Sound much better than before
Just the things I've never watched
My close circles are less bored
And she likes to count certain words, certain words
Of different levels, of different levels,
Such different levels...
I've got a ticket to be right for a long long time
I got it in an auction
And I suppose you realize that you're invited
Communication line has failed
If you want, I'll sign a declaration
If you want, I'll publish it on the front page
And I could write it everywhere...
I've got a ticket to be right for a long long time
I got it in an auction
And I suppose you realize that you're invited
Communication line has failed
If you want, I'll sign a declaration
If you want, I'll publish it on the front page
And I could write it everywhere...
I like the things I've never watched
I feel they were waiting inside me
When I called your name
Troubles go away
When you call my name
When I call your name
I've got a ticket to be right for a long long time
I got it in an auction
And I suppose you realize that you're invited
Communication line has failed
If you want, I'll sign a declaration
Everything I touch,
Targets that I shot
Turn to little pieces, tiny pieces,
I am not exaggerating
I know how it sounds
I fix my eyes on you
This is exciting, relaxing
The end of the film is never the same
Follow me, inside my head
Spies of the universe
Why not. why not
We'll get a seat.
On tomorrow's flight.
I heard about a great new show.
You press the button.... Hurry up!
This is called ‘a good start' for me.
We'll shoot right now...
Do it, do it.
I'm gonna stay here above
And this is how it works.
Your characters are never bored
I know how it sounds
I fix my eyes on you
This is exciting, relaxing
The end of the film is never the same
We'll get a seat.
On tomorrow's flight.
I heard about a great new show.
You press the button.... Hurry up!
This is called ‘a good start' for me.
We'll shoot right now
Invisible spies of the universe
This is called ‘a good start' for me.
We'll shoot right now...
Sun has lost
Mountains fell
What took away our anchor
Snow in the old sky
Escape is a long dead end
We need to rise higher
Temples burn
Fires underneath
What controls our anger
Moon coming in
Sun has lost
Did you know
Mountains fell
Letting one second go on
To go over a lifetime
We were such good friends
Alone, isolation. An island
So far from the nearest sign of life
No ones is coming, No one is coming
Settled in a made to measure place
Why are you dragging me along...
Efforts in the wrong direction
Played repeatedly
Like a Deja vu
Slow motion, in slow motion
You're not up to date with the latest news
Someone else would have a reaction, you cutted yourself from reality
Your insides are asking for action... it couldn't be clearer, Can't you see it?
I can't stand your full resignation to the alarming fate
Weary questions wondering who's at fault. There's no telling
It is impossible to find it out... It's irrational,...it's a waste of time... and you haven't got too much to say...
Same speech, same words and messages repeating, frustrating the possibility of improvement
Stop it now, stop it now, that's enough, stop it now
it's disconcerting . Inventing your own truth on a desert island
I can't stand your full resignation to the alarming fate
Weary questions wondering who's at fault. There's no telling
It is impossible to find it out... It's irrational,...it's a waste of time... and you haven't got too much to say...
and you haven't got to much to say...
Cards are gone,...closing your eyelids... on a desert island
No one comes, closing your eyelids... nothing to show
Stop it now... closing your eyelids... swallow your pride
She writes down her lines
There aren't many words about me.
Could be thinking these days of
A different space, as she said.
Pages, pages on the floor.
Writing lyrics close to her.
She writes down her lines
There aren't many words about me.
Could be thinking these days of
A different space, as she said.
Pages, pages on the floor.
Writing lyrics close to her.
Like a secret in her past
Normal feelings coming back
She didn't need too many things
Something to hold. Something to write
And I dont need an explanation
When it began was easy to stay
If I look back, there's nothing unfair
And I don't need an explanation at all
And now the painted sun
Is not our common background
And now the stars on the wall
They aren't shining for me anymore
Pages pages on the floor
Writing lyrics close to her.
Like a secret in her past
Normal feelings coming back
She didn't need too many things
Something to hold. Something to write
And I dont need an explanation
When it began was easy to stay
If I look back there's nothing unfair
And I don't need an explanation
I can't think with clarity
Figures looking blurred to me
I am starting to be sick of trying .
Her diary has other friends
Her diary has other songs
Her diary is not the same as mine
She didn't need too many things
Something to hold. Something to write
And I dont need an explanation
When it began was easy to stay
If I look back there's nothing unfair
And I don't need an explanation
I can't think with clarity
Figures looking blurred to me
