The World Health Organization, the very same organization that wants to impose a global consumer tax on internet use to your bank account to raise money for its drug research in the developing world, is reporting total ebola fueled chaos in West Africa. Last month, former Director of Medical Policy Development for the Food and Drug Administration, asserts that Ebola is likely to arrive in the U.S. and that if it does the CDC will invoke powers to “hold a healthy person against his will.” Gottlieb also points an executive order passed by Obama on July 31st which allows for the detention of Americans who merely display signs of any “respiratory illness.” Infowars Reporter Jon Bowne reports.

A FAMILY OF EXPONENTIAL STEP-DOWN SWITCHED-CAPACITOR CONVERTERS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS IN TWO-STAGE CONVERTERS
This paper presents a family of exponential voltage step-down switched-capacitor (ESC) converters. Considering the demand of large-voltage-gain step-down converters in the market, it is difficult to achieve the step-down requirement with good efficiency for a single-stage buck converter. The two-stage converter has been an effective solution for high-voltage-step-down applications. In this paper, making use of the large-voltage-gain conversion property of the ESC converter, a two-stage ESC-buck converter is proposed. A mathematical tool for the accurate calculation of efficiency is developed. The efficiency characteristic of the proposed ESC converter is established. Experimental efficiency measurements are carried out using the ESC converter proposed and two different types of commercially available buck converter ICs.

In probability and statistics, an exponential family is an important class of probability distributions sharing a certain form, specified below. This special form is chosen for mathematical convenience, on account of some useful algebraic properties, as well as for generality, as exponential families are in a sense very natural distributions to consider. The concept of exponential families is credited toE. J. G. Pitman,G. Darmois, and B. O. Koopman in 1935–6. The term exponential class is sometimes used in place of "exponential family".
The exponential families include many of the most common distributions, including the normal, exponential, gamma, chi-squared, beta, Dirichlet, Bernoulli, categorical, Poisson, Wishart, Inverse Wishart and many others. A number of common distributions are exponential families only when certain parameters are considered fixed and known, e.g. binomial (with fixed number of trials), multinomial (with fixed number of trials), and negative binomial (with fixed number of failures). Examples of common distributions that are not exponential families are Student's t, most mixture distributions, and even the family of uniform distributions with unknown bounds. See the section below on examples for more discussion.
