Mira ( /ˈmaɪrə/ or /ˈmɪrə/) also known as Omicron Ceti (ο Ceti, ο Cet), is a red giant star estimated 200-400 light years away in the constellation Cetus. Mira is a binary star, consisting of the red giant Mira A along with Mira B. Mira A is also an oscillating variable star and was the first non-supernova variable star discovered, with the possible exception of Algol. Apart from the unusual Eta Carinae, Mira is the brightest periodic variable in the sky that is not visible to the naked eye for part of its cycle. Its distance is uncertain; pre-Hipparcos estimates centered around 220 light-years, while Hipparcos data suggest a distance of 418 light-years, albeit with a margin of error of ~14%.
Evidence that the variability of Mira was known in ancient China, Babylon or Greece is at best only circumstantial. What is certain is that the variability of Mira was recorded by the astronomer David Fabricius beginning on August 3, 1596. Observing the planet Mercury, he needed a reference star for comparing positions and picked a previously unremarked third-magnitude star nearby. By August 21, however, it had increased in brightness by one magnitude, then by October had faded from view. Fabricius assumed it was a nova, but then saw it again on February 16, 1609.

Plot
'Now that I've resigned myself to living, how am I going to make something of it? There's a question I ask of myself and ask of everybody who is struggling to heal themselves, everybody who is dealing with AIDS, dealing with being gay, dealing with this painful world: Where is your passion? Why do you love, and what are you doing about it?' These words of Bill T. Jones (Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company) open IT HAD TO BE YOU, a film that looks at three Philadelphia Gayborhood couples, two male of differing generations and one female couple, as they negotiate life, death, love and why we're here.

Plot
Catena is a trip through five episodes, each one containing another genre. While all episodes build up on each other and lead to a dramatic climax, the separate parts tell stories on their own. The film portrays the principle of causality and shows how just a little decision can change your life forever - or put an end to it. Catena is a tour de force of drama, comedy, horror, thriller and does contain a love story aswell - a bad and gritty one. In the end, Catena is an indie-film which tries to explore new ways of narration and yet it still can grab the audiences attention just like a chilling tension- and humor-filled flick with its wave at mainstream.

Mira
Mira esta gente
mira este mundo
mira a tu alrededor,
mira en sus caras
mira en sus ojos solo te sentirás.
Mira a tu madre, mira a tu padre
ellos están igual,
ellos se ven igual.
En esta selva, en este infierno
yo ya no quiero estar lo que está bien
lo que está mal
no me interesa más
No soy humano, no soy de carne
no tengo huesos, no tengo sangre
soy sentimiento puro
y estoy a punto de reventar
Mira como todo se olvida
mira quiero ser tu amiga
hoy parece que el sol se nublo
que ha llovido en tus ojos amor
pienso que te pareces a mí
cuando yo respiraba por ti.
Mira que extraña es la vida
mira ya no tengo heridas
pero entiendo que sufras por mí
yo sin ti no sabía dormir
necesito que sepas que yo
sólo quiero ayudarte mi amor.
Me voy a permitir una vez más
hablar sin disfrazar la realidad
si sufres por mi culpa yo también
pues nada puedo hacer
al vert así tan apagado.
Mira se me acaba el tiempo
mirame pero sonriendo
si este amor no llegó a ser amor
como amiga seré la mejor
como sabes la vida es así
hoy por ti y mañana por mí.
Mira
Mira esa cara,
Mira esos ojos que no dicen nada
Mira esas manos
Ya cansadas de tanto trabajo
Mira, mira esa boca
Entierra besos, besos y alegrias
Mira, mira su corazón,
Ya se ha parado, jamás pedirá perdón.
Mira, mmmmmm
Mira, if you never come to me my darling
I'll burn in boiling eternity
The felicidad that I hold in my heart
Is a pretty good start for us 2
And if in the world there were only ... days
I would how find how ... in the blues
Mira, look at what you do to me
Mira, look at all the fantasy
Mira, this is such a lovely way to be
In all that I've seen, all the love that I've seen
Is the love that reminds me of you
In every smile is a trace of the joy
That I feel like a sweet morning ...
Mira, look at what you do to me
Mira, look at all the fantasy
Mira, this is such a lovely way to be
Oh Mira, look at what you do to me
Mira, look at all the fantasy
