The Coptic calendar, also called the Alexandrian calendar, is used by the Coptic Orthodox Church and still used in Egypt. This calendar is based on the ancient Egyptian calendar. To avoid the calendar creep of the latter, a reform of the ancient Egyptian calendar was introduced at the time of Ptolemy III (Decree of Canopus, in 238 BC) which consisted of the intercalation of a sixth epagomenal day every fourth year. However, this reform was opposed by the Egyptian priests, and the idea was not adopted until 25 BC, when the Roman Emperor Augustus formally reformed the calendar of Egypt, keeping it forever synchronized with the newly introduced Julian calendar. To distinguish it from the Ancient Egyptian calendar, which remained in use by some astronomers until medieval times, this reformed calendar is known as the Coptic calendar. Its years and months coincide with those of the Ethiopian calendar but have different numbers and names.
The Coptic year is the extension of the ancient Egyptian civil year, retaining its subdivision into the three seasons, four months each. The three seasons are commemorated by special prayers in the Coptic Liturgy. This calendar is still in use all over Egypt by farmers to keep track of the various agricultural seasons. The Coptic calendar has 13 months, 12 of 30 days each and one intercalary month at the end of the year of 5 days in length, except in leap years when the month is 6 days. The year starts on 29 August in the Julian Calendar or on the 30th in the year before (Julian) Leap Years. The Coptic Leap Year follows the same rules as the Julian Calendar so that the extra month always has six days in the year before a Julian Leap Year.[citation needed]

This calendar is based on the ancient Egyptian calendar.the Copts chose the year 284AD to mark the beginning of the calendar, since this year saw the seating of Diocletian as Rome’s emperor and the consequent martyrdom of thousands upon thousands of Egypt’s Christians.
Apart from the Church’s celebration, Copts celebrate the New Year by eating red dates, which are now in season, believing the red symbolises the martyrs’ blood and the white date heart the martyrs’ pure hearts
The Coptic New Year is the very first calendar ever known by man on planet earth! It goes back 4241 BC.The word "Nayrouz" is of Coptic origin. The stem is niiaro-oo meaning: "the rivers." The suffex "ouz" is Greek, thus, the word "Niiaroouz." Mid September is usually where the waters of the Nile river rises, so the prayers are lifted to God for the rising of the waters of the rivers for irrigation and ask for His blessings at the beginning (crown) of the Coptic Calendar year. When the Persian ruled Egypt from 525-405 BC, they adopted the word and incorporated it in their language and took it to mean "the beginning of their Persian year," and called it "Nayrouz." The word "Nayrouz" in Persian, means "the new year.

This video report will update the 21 Coptic Christians that were beheaded by ISIS back on 02-12-15, and in doing so, I will show you what was missed during my original decoding, that has alluded me ever since the event took place. I have now discovered that the Coptic Cross and the event just mentioned was a ritual sacrificial element of a time manipulation that began back on 12-21 and 12-24. The Coptic Cross is also a hidden Ritual Clock, that presents a coded message of dates and codes that have to be seen to be believed.
Since proof is in the evidence, I have prepared charts that will prove that the Coptic Cross is a Ritual Clock, that communicates the future dates of 09-15, a date associated with Jade Helm, and 09-24, a date associated with a possible asteroid impact into the Atlantic Ocean, that creates a massive tsunami and ELE for the planet.
This report is only being presented to show that the Clock as we know it, is a ritualized element that has been used to communicate the future dates of 09-15 and 09-24.
While the other code in the Ritual Clock is also intriguing, it is the broadcast of these two dates that has captured my attention and which justified me preparing this video for your proper consideration to what the Ritual Clock shows us.
The Coptic Cross as a Clock could also symbolically represent when the clock or calendar as we know it, Ends.
Thank you for watching and considering such material.

The church of martyrs and coptic calendar -bekhit
Its years and months coincide with those of the Ethiopian calendar but have different numbers and names
