George Philip North (born 13 April 1992 in King's Lynn) is a Wales international rugby union player currently playing for the Scarlets in the Pro12 league, in the position of winger.
North was born in 1992 in King's Lynn, his mother is Welsh and from Anglesey, Wales, his father is English. His family moved to Hong Kong, on Royal Airforce duty, when he was 14 weeks old. The family returned to Anglesey on 13 January 1995 when he was aged two and he is a fluent Welsh language speaker. Educated at Llandovery College in West Wales, he played as a junior for Llangefni, Pwllheli, Rhyl and Gogledd Cymru under-16s.
Up to the point of his international call-up, North had played six matches for the Scarlets first team, a record restricted by an injury.
After an impressive start to the 2010 season, in October 2010, he was selected to the 33 man squad for the Autumn international series. On 11 November 2010 North was named in the Wales team to face South Africa on 13 November, making him the joint third youngest player to represent Wales behind Tom Prydie and Norman Biggs and equal to Evan Williams.
Jonathan Sexton, is a rugby union player for Ireland and Leinster Rugby in the Celtic League and Heineken Cup. Sexton is a nephew of former Garryowen, Munster and Ireland rugby player William Sexton. Sexton born in Dublin also has strong family ties to North Kerry.
Sexton is registered to St. Mary's College RFC who play in AIB League Division 1. Sexton plays as Fly-half but has played several different positions in the back-line. He attended St. Marys college in Dublin and scored a drop goal in the dying moments of St. Marys' 2002 Leinster Senior Cup final win.
In May 2012 former Ireland and Leinster great Ollie Campbell stated before Leinster's unprecedented 3rd European Cup in four years that Sexton is a class act with hardly any weaknesses, and that during Leinster's rise to the summit of European rugby the only significant Heineken Cup defeat over the last four seasons occurred when Jonathan Sexton was not playing.
Sexton was part of Leinster's Celtic League winning side in 2007–08. On 2 May 2009, he established himself in the Leinster first team replacing the injured Argentine fly-half Felipe Contepomi as an early substitute in the Heineken Cup semi-final to help Leinster beat rivals Munster a convincing 25–6. He then started in Leinster's home match against the Scarlets in the Celtic League, scoring 15 points (including a try) in a man of the match performance.
