Part of our philosophy at Best Drug Rehabilitation is getting our message of recovery to as many people as possible in whatever way we can. Our priority is rehabilitation from substance abuse and alcoholism, however, helping our patients become drug and alcohol free is only a piece of the puzzle. Our goal is to help them discover the tools and skills needed to maintain a long term substance free lifestyle. One of those tools is found in building a strong support network, a reassurance that they are not alone, that there are people they can reach out to for help in times of need. We can think of no better way to get that message across than through the universal language: Music. Jared Blake is a young country rock artist who appeared on The Voice, bringing widespread attention to his energetic and emotional performances. Since then, he has gotten national radio airplay and several of his singles have hit the charts worldwide. He also has his own history with recovery, and was happy to bring his band along to a local theatre to hold a private concert for BDR patients and staff members. He shared his story in between playing his bluesy country-style tunes, making a more personal connection with those in attendance than he normally would at a performance. “It’s reminded me lot of what things were like,” he told us, “the questions I had, the questions that they have.” Jared talked with us about why he likes BDR so much, and the program we offer. “I think this facility is amazing,” he shared. “Most of the rehabs you go to, they have one way to do it and they tell you that this is how you do it.” We realize that every person and every situation is different, and that no two people will respond the same way to a certain method of treatment. With this in mind, our program was developed to be adaptable to any person that comes to us seeking help with their chemical dependency. “They have so many different variations,” Jared said, “they have music therapy, they have all sorts of different therapies, and I think that everybody’s reached.” His review of our program echoes exactly what we aim to provide to our patients. At Best Drug Rehabilitation, our goal is to help our clients find a healthy and positive outlook on life, with a renewed sense of appreciation for themselves and others. We try to carry this idea to those suffering with addiction and chemical dependency in any way we can, offering something for everyone. We help our patients find a better today and a brighter tomorrow. We give them a better way of life. At Best Drug Rehabilitation, we believe that helping people recover from substance abuse is just one part of a much bigger picture. Through community events, youth functions and charitable contributions, our goal is to reach out to others by carrying our message of recovery wherever we can. One such event, the Celebrate Recovery Walk, was held recently in Grand Rapids, MI to raise awareness about treatment for chemical dependency. Carrying signs with slogans like “Recovery Matters” and “Treatment is Effective”, several of the clients and staff members from BDR participated to show support for those who are struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol. Dr. Billy Taylor, one of the guest speakers at the walk, is the founder of Get Back Up, Inc., a non-profit service organization that addresses many of the challenges facing young adults in recovery. After giving an inspirational speech following the walk, he found a few minutes to sit with us and talk about the importance of events like this one. “I love sharing my message of recovery,” he tells us, “just to help them to know that there’s life on the other side of addiction.” In his speech, he compared substituting one drug for another to changing seats on an airplane that is crashing. Like many of the course facilitators and counselors at BDR, Dr. Taylor can relate to people suffering from addiction on a personal level. He has had firsthand experience with recovery from drug abuse and alcoholism, and has been substance free for over 17 years. His personal testimony and knowledge about life under the influence helps him to connect with others and spread his message more effectively. By participating in community events like the Celebrate Recovery Walk, our clients can find support and encouragement in their own personal recovery from substance abuse. “Dr. Taylor’s speech was really great because I could really relate to it,” says Tayla, a Best Drug Rehabilitation client. “I would always try to substitute my addictions and that just doesn’t work.” At our treatment facility, we help our clients to overcome their chemical dependency by discovering and addressing the underlying causes of their addiction rather than just treating the symptoms. In doing so, they build a stronger foundation in recovery and enjoy long term substance free living. They find a greater sense of self-confidence and hope for a brighter future. They find peace and happiness inside themselves. Learn More Here: http://www.bestdrugrehabilitation.com... The treatment program at Best Drug Rehabilitation takes a unique approach to recovery from addiction. Rather than insisting that our patients adhere to a single view “one treatment fits all” method of rehabilitation, we offer various options in recovery programs for our patients to choose from, allowing them a certain amount of freedom in deciding the direction that their program will take on the path to a substance-free lifestyle. We believe that, while the main goal is recovery from addiction, there are many ways to reach that goal and every patient will respond differently to any particular treatment modalities. By allowing them to create a personalized program, we help them to discover a sense of confidence and personal responsibility in their rehabilitation. One of our more popular programs is Music Therapy. This course, through the power of musical expression, helps our patients to learn creative and positive ways to deal with the reemergence of emotions that have been numbed for so long by their substance abuse. It also greatly benefits those patients who find that they struggle to properly express themselves with words. It shows how we are all connected with each other, by allowing them to make close personal ties with others through working together to create something beautiful. Among all of the different kinds of people that come to our doors seeking help in overcoming their addiction, this course appeals to most of them, particularly musicians like Cody. Cody, a 20 year old from Pennsylvania, came to BDR for assistance in beating his heroin addiction after an unsuccessful attempt at recovery through a 12-Step based rehabilitation facility. As is often the unfortunate case for those struggling with substance abuse, Cody’s addiction led him to do some very dishonest things, including stealing money from ticket sales to a music festival he was scheduled to perform at and not fulfilling his obligation to play there, disappointing some people that had gone to see him on stage. The Music Therapy program at BDR is one of the main reasons he chose to come to our recovery facility. “I wrote more songs in the time that I’ve been here than I have in my entire life,” he tells us. “It’s probably the first time in my life that I’ve played actually sober, and it feels really good. It gives me hope.” At Best Drug Rehabilitation, our recovery program helps our patients to realize that they can live healthy, positive and productive lives without using drugs and alcohol. “I always thought I was more creative when I was high,” says Cody, “but that’s not very true.” When they are able to see the world around them with a clear mind and to discover the value and strength within themselves, our patients find that they have the ability to make the word around them a safer, happier and healthier place. They find that they have a renewed sense of optimism and hope for a brighter future, living free from the bonds of addiction. While our main priority at Best Drug Rehabilitation is the treatment of drug addiction and alcoholism, we also find it very important to take time to appreciate and celebrate the healthier and more positive lifestyle that we help our patients to find. On December 5, 2014, BDR hosted the “Detroit Country Christmas” Concert. Featuring country stars John Anderson, Trailer Choir, Jared Blake and Jessica Andrews, this event was held at the Masonic Temple in Downtown Detroit. Per Wickstrom, the CEO of Best Drug Rehabilitation, talked with the performers backstage about substance abuse and the role that we play in fighting the battle against addiction. It was during one of these interviews that Jessica Andrews came out into the open about her own struggles with chemical dependency. “It started with a prescription,” she told Per, “and I just ended up liking different feelings from prescriptions. I got to a point where I was thinking about it way too much, taking way too many pills for different things all the time.” She recognized that her control over her own life and decision making was slipping from her grasp, and she approached her parents about getting treatment for her addiction. Her family and friends were very supportive of her decision and stayed by her side throughout the recovery process. Today, Jessica enjoys a substance-free lifestyle and is no longer ashamed of her past. In speaking publicly about her addiction for the first time, she gave Per some personal insight into substance abuse in the entertainment industry and different ways we can help end the problem of substance abuse in today’s society. “If we could start some kind of education program with pre-teens,” she offers, “and get them started on seeing the reality about drugs and alcohol. It is a choice in the beginning, but you lose that control and that choice after a while.” At BDR, we believe that education and prevention are crucial in being an effective force in the battle against substance abuse with today’s youth. The program at Best Drug Rehabilitation is not just about helping our patients to get off of drugs and alcohol. It is about making the total lifestyle transformation that is necessary to remain substance-free after graduation from our recovery center. We strive to help our patients and their loved ones discover a healthier and more positive way of life. We give our patients the hope of a better today with a more promising future free from the bonds of drug abuse and alcoholism. We help them to find their path to recovery from addiction. For story suggestions please contact tips@nma.com.tw At least 400 drug addicts escaped a drug rehabilitation center in northern Vietnam where they were receiving compulsory treatment on Sunday. The group of struck down the gates of Gia Minh Center near Hai Phong city at around 4 p.m. Some of the detainees were wielding sticks. “More than 400 inmates fled after breaking the door and threatened the guards of the center with sticks,” Nguyen Huy Hoang, an official from Thuy Nguyen district where the center is located. Local news reported that several inmates vandalized homes as the large group made its way to the city. Scores of inmates were seen walking down the street, many only wearing shorts. Police found some of the inmates at their homes, while about 30 returned voluntarily. Some of the detainees were picked up by their family members. Police are still looking for the rest of the escapees. Human Rights Watch has criticized government-run rehabilitation centers, calling them “little more than forced labor camps.” Reports say there are 140,000 to 183,000 drug addicts currently in Vietnam.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel 2015-04-11Drug rehabilitation (often drug rehab or just rehab) is a term for the processes of medical or psychotherapeutic treatment, for dependency on psychoactive substances such as alcohol, prescription drugs, and so-called street drugs such as cocaine, heroin or amphetamines. The general intent is to enable the patient to cease substance abuse, in order to avoid the psychological, legal, financial, social, and physical consequences that can be caused, especially by extreme abuse.
Psychological dependency is addressed in many drug rehabilitation programs by attempting to teach the patient new methods of interacting in a drug-free environment. In particular, patients are generally encouraged, or possibly even required, to not associate with friends who still use the addictive substance. Twelve-step programs encourage addicts not only to stop using alcohol or other drugs, but to examine and change habits related to their addictions. Many programs emphasize that recovery is a permanent process without culmination. For legal drugs such as alcohol, complete abstention—rather than attempts at moderation, which may lead to relapse—is also emphasized ("One is too many, and a thousand is never enough.") Whether moderation is achievable by those with a history of abuse remains a controversial point, but is generally considered unsustainable.[citation needed]
Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American singer, actor, and businessman. He achieved early fame when he appeared as a contestant on Star Search, and went on to star in the Disney Channel television series The New Mickey Mouse Club, where he met future bandmate JC Chasez. Timberlake became famous in the late 1990s as the lead singer and youngest member of the boy band 'N Sync, whose launch was financed by Lou Pearlman.
In 2002, he released his debut solo album, Justified, which sold more than seven million copies worldwide. The album was a commercial success, spawning the hits "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body". Timberlake continued his success with his second solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006), debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and produced the US number-one hit singles "SexyBack", "My Love", and "What Goes Around... Comes Around".
Timberlake has won six Grammy Awards and four Emmy Awards. His first two albums made him one of the most commercially successful singers in the world, each selling in excess of 7 million copies.
