The classic jukebox has buttons with letters and numbers on them that, when entered in combination, are used to play a specific selection.

I'll fake it
But some how-a old jerry comes through
Sometimes i feel like i, i just can't take it
But somehow the killer comes through
Ye-aah
(instrumental & piano solo)
I was born in ferriday, lou'siana
Lord, i was born feet first
Come out jumpin', been jumpin'ever since
Lord, i know how to take it
Oh, the killer's gotta come through
Pick your guitar, fella
(instrumental & piano)
Born on the farm in lou'siana
Lord, i had a hard time choppin' that cotton
Ooooooh, mama used to say
'son, i'm gonna get ya a piano
'and you may turn out to be rotten'
But i didn't
Ooh, i'm gonna make it
I gotta make it
'look out son, you might get yourself in trouble'
But i didn't
Woo-hoo!
Turned out good!
What am i gonna do now?
Wouldn't know if i could
Take it, son
(instrumental & guitar solo)
New orleans, louisiana
Found me a little cajun queen
We were doin' pretty good
One night she shook that thing
And then we vowed to marry, lord
What a big mistake, i made it
But, i'll make it wait and see
Woo! give it to me, now
(piano)
C'mon, i gotta make it
Wooo-wooo-wooo-ooo!
I hear ya
Just layin' it in, hangin' it in
A-like gunga din
Woo!
Pick it, son!
(instrumental & guitar solo) oooh-oooh!
Ooh, the floor is shakin' with that juke box
And ev'rybody is singin', 'yeah-yeah-yeah'
Woo!
Do ya love me baby?
Don't you think i'm out of sight?
Mama, she rolls but she don't roll right
Think about it, umm
The town is burnin' with the heat wave
The weather broadcast keeps sayin'
Fine, fine, fine, fine
Do ya love me baby?
Don't ya think i'm outta sight?
Mama, she rolls but she don't roll all night
Yeah
(instrumental & piano)
Yes, the town is burnin' with the heat wave
The weather broadcast keeps sayin'
Fine, fine, fine
Do you love me, baby?
Don't you think i'm outta sight?
Oh mama, she rolls, but she don't roll right
Play it organ, stud! ho!
(instrumental & organ) woo!
The floor is shakin' with the juke box
And ev'rybody is singin' ha, ' yeah-yeah-yeah'
Do ya love me baby?
Do you think i'm outta sight?
Mama, she rolls, but she don't roll right
(jerry lee yodles a verse )
in the jukebox of her memory
the list of names flips by and stops
she closes her eyes
and smiles as the record drops
then she drinks herself up and out
of her kitchen chair
and she dances out of time
as slow as she can sway
for as long as she can say
this dance is mine
this dance is mine
her hair bears silent witness
to the passing of time
tattoos like mile markers
map the distance she has gone
winning some, losing some
she says my sister still calls every sunday night
after the rates go down
and i can never manage to say anything right
my whole life blew up
and now its all coming down
and she says leave me alone
tonight i just wanna stay home
she fills the pot with water
she drops in the bone
she says, i've got a darkness that i have to feed
i've got a sadness
that grows up around me like a weed
and i'm not hurting anyone
i'm just spiraling in
as she closes her eyes
and hears the song begin again
she appreciates the phone calls
the consoling cards and such
she appreciates all the people
who come by and try to pull her back in touch
they try to hold the lid down tightly
and they try to shake well
but the oil and water
just want to separate themselves
she drinks herself up and out of her kitchen chair
and she dances out of time
as slow as she can sway
for as long as she can say
this dance is mine
this dance is mine
Pronadji me kao kopac
kad nadje zlato
ja cu te voljeti
nemoj da brines za to
Poljubi me kao zena
kad ljubi muskarca
napusti me, kao sto zivot
napusta starca
Ne daj da patim
kao za gospodarom pas
daj mi snage
kao sto autu dajes gas
Ref. 2x
Prestani plakati
kad muzika svira
zivot je jukebox
svako svoju pjesmu bira
Predi malo, samo
frkces kao macka
ukradi me, to nek' ti bude
posljednja pljacka
If I didn`t have a dime
And I didn`t take the time
To play the jukebox
Oh oh oh, Saturday-night
Would have been a sad and lonely night,
for me
And if I didn`t see you there
Ruby lips and golden hair
Beside the jukebox
Oh oh oh I then lost my change
To hold you while you danced with me
While the records turned
And turned, we danced
And learned, our hearts that yearned,
For this
`Neath the moon and walked and walked
And talked of love and then we kissed
Now with every sweet caress
Oh my darling how I bless
That little jukebox
Oh oh oh that romantic scene
Wouldn`t mean a single thing
Even though you`re standing there
With Ruby lips and golden hair
If I didn`t have a dime
And I didn`t take the time
To play the jukebox
Lalalalalalalala............etc
While the records turned
And turned, we danced
And learned, our hearts that yearned,
For this
`Neath the moon and walked and walked
A woman left lonely will soon grow tired of waiting,
Shell do crazy things, yeah, on lonely occasions.
A simple conversation for the new men now and again
Makes a touchy situation when a good face come into your head.
And when she gets lonely, shes thinking bout her man,
She knows hes taking her for granted, yeah yeah,
Honey, she doesnt understand, no no no no!
Well, the fevers of the night, they burn an unloved woman
Yeah, those red-hot flames try to push old love aside.
A woman left lonely, shes the victim of her man, yes she is.
When he cant keep up his own way, good Lord,
Shes got to do the best that she can, yeah!
A woman left lonely, Lord, that lonely girl,
Lord, Lord, Lord!
I've been up all night just singin'
This same old song,song,song
And I can't get it
Through my head
That man she's gone,gone,gone
I'm pushin' all the buttons
But one thing is for sure
Play my song no more
I've been lovin' that little gal
Now for so long,long,long
But that jukebox never said
She'd do me wrong,
Wrong,wrong
I dropped in all my money
Now it just don't seem right
That jukebox just won't play
My song tonight
Jukebox bring my baby
Back to me
Ain't had no real good lovin'
And I'm drownin' in misery
The records keep on playin'
But my poor heart
Won't stop sayin'
Jukebox bring my baby
Baby to me
Just look at all those
Pretty lights
A shine,shine,shine
Jukebox don't you know
That girl is mine,mine,mine
I polished all your chrome
I dusted off your glass
Oh jukebox bring my baby
Home at last
Jukebox bring my baby
Back to me
Ain't had no real lovin'
And I'm drownin' in misery
The records keep on playin'
But my poor heart
Won't stop sayin'
Jukebox bring my baby
Back to me
It had bubbles goin' round and a big bass sound
You could feel right through your feet
Like a beacon in the night with the green and orange light
Just a slot machine poundin' out the beat
Played Silver Threads And Golden Needles Monkees Turtles Byrds and Beatles
Really took a lot of hard knocks
And I met my lovin' honey and spent all my money
Feedin' that old jukebox
It's been sittin' in the corner there a hundred years or more
Just a watchin' as come and go
Just how many million times it took my nickels and my dimes
I guess I'll never know
Played Betty Lou Peggy Sue Nadine Maybelline
I watched the girl who flirted like a fox
And I never will forget her cause the first time I met her
She was dancin' to the old jukebox
Jukebox you're the living end
Jukebox you're my neon friend
Ooh-wee baby don'y mean maybe crank me out another tune
You may be only a machine but sweet little sixteen
Loves to dance to you night and noon
Play some Itsy-bitsy-teenie-weenie-yellow-polka-dot-bikini
Cheatin' Heart and Rock Around The Clock
Cause my baby and me got a thousand memories
Deep down in that old jukebox
Jukebox you're the living end...
[ piano ]
So play some Hank and Jerry Lee and Merle
They're rockin' all around the world
To George Jones and Rolling Stones
Waylon and Willie and Rockabilly
Ringo George John and Paul
Stevie Wonder does it all
Lionel Jenny and Swingin' Benny
Sinatra and Bing Ella and the King
Aretha Dolly and Buddy Holly and everything that reels and rocks
Cause you'll always be around just layin' down the sounds
We love you old jukebox
Jukebox you're the living end...
Jukebox you're the living end...

My Hearts, Beating
Waiting for you to come home,
Im still, Waiting
Waiting patiently for your call
Needing, To free me
Is not so easy when your in love
Lonely, Love me

but i, can't contimplate, and i
can't situate, that the,
love that we made is all over,
Your Gone and
Where Did you Go
The way, It feels
its like a knife tearing my heart apart
if you, could see me
Baby Im drowning in my own tears
I need you, I want you
without you, Im so incomplete
Remember what we had

can't situate, that the,
love that we made is all over,
Your Gone and
Where Did you Go
Cause i cant stop
Wont stop, thinking 'bout
Loving you, Holding you
All through the night
Cause i cant stop
Wont stop, thinking 'bout
Loving you, Holding you
All through the night
Your Gone and
Where Did you Go
(spoken) "Hi Jack, I don't know why you're calling here bothering Rick and I here this morning. Umm, obviously you have your crack whore with you. My cell phone went dead that's why I couldn't, didn't continue to speak. Anyway, it would be a great favor for me... if you would please sign the divorce papers, okay? You live your life in a drug infested world with crack whores, and that's just how you're going to be. And, by the way, we had a great time in this bed last night. bye"

Verse 1
Oh... Oh... Oh
You understand me like no one else does
You love me perfect, that's more than enough
I can't find a flaw in you, not even one
I know you'll be here, in the long run.
You know the reason I'm so insecure.
And day after day you convince me I;m wrong.
Telling me beauty is neither here or there.
But you understand why I'm fixing my hair
(Chorus) Cause I'm fixing my hair for you
I want to be beautiful
Even when you tell me I'm so pretty,
I need it to hide all my insecurities.
And I'm fixing my hair for you
Just like you like me to
even when you tell me that you could'nt care less
I'm always fixing my hair
(I'm always fixing, fixing my hair)
Verse 2
Hours in the mirror for nothing at all
Staring at my imaginary flaws (imaginary flaws)
Making excuses to fix what aint broke
You make me feel better like only you know... how
why are we where we are
someone like me, how did we get this far.
When we get older when you're still around
When all of my hair has fallen on the ground
(Chorus)
Bridge: Please believe me when I say
I don't mean to be so vain
But I've got issues within
What you see when you're with me
is something I can never be
You gotta understand
All you ever knew was the pretty girl,
the funny girl, the girl with no worries or cares.
But I've got a lot that I'm hiding inside
that's why I'm fixing my hair.
(Chorus)
I'm always fixing my hair.. For you
Even when you tell me that you could'nt care less, I'm always fixing my hair.
Somewhere
Beyond the horizon
Standing in silence
Hidden by dreams
Reach out
Keep wishing and hoping
Like for the taking
You can make it, believe
The land of music
Of fantasy
The land of music
Your wildest dreams
Halfway
Halfway to heaven
Out of the darkness
Into the light
Heartbreak
Sleepers awaken
A world of wonder
Behold paradise
The land of music
Of fantasy
The land of music
