Steve Coogan Is....[The Parole Officer]
Fighting crime the only way he knows how. Badly.
Simon Garden: [Trying to bribe the gunmen on the roof] 'OK, look. Er, in my wallet I've got forty pounds, that's twenty each!' [Sounding to be a great deal and holds the money up enticingly] 'I've also got a cashcard here; the daily limit is two hundred, of which I've withdrawn forty, you've got that.' [Like a gameshow host: 'you're prizes are safe'] 'Now, the pin number; it's the Battle of Hastings... '
Simon Garden: I saw a man strangle a human being - well, an accountant anyway.
Simon Garden: I've got to go back.::George: Never go back.::Simon Garden: I left the tape.::George: In that case, go back.
[after seeing Emma in the mirror naked]::Simon Garden: You've got a lovely little pu... cat
[mis-reading the message painted on the back of the getaway van]::Jeff: It's get Kirsty in?
Tribunal Chairman: We talked to your clients, Mr Garden.::Simon Garden: Yeah, they're good people. I used to say to them: "You're half-way up a mountain. Crime is the easy path to the bottom. Responsibility is the hard path to the top. But when you get there it's a great view. Because in every sinner, there's a..."::Stern Woman: [interrupting, impatiently] Thank you Mr Garden.
[in the police interview room]::Simon Garden: [smugly] You can't intimidate me.::Inspector Burton: Let me give it a shot. If you open your mouth, I won't lay a finger on you. But you'll go to prison. And when those nonces and those perverts get hold of a clever boy like you - and I'll make sure they do - they'll be queueing up round the block. You're going to end up with an arsehole like a clown's pocket.::Simon Garden: [gulps] That was pretty good.
[at Victor's grave]::Sarah, Victor's Wife: After he worked with you he tried to give up his life of crime. He channelled his interests into amateur dramatics. One night he sneaked off to do the safe at Jackson's - you know, the food-processing plant? Two days later, one of the machines was playing up. They reckon he must have fallen into the mincer.::All: Ugh!::Sarah, Victor's Wife: By that stage the order's already gone out. They tried to recall them, but all they got back was half-a-dozen pies and a couple of pasties.::Simon Garden: And is that what's... [points at the grave]::Sarah, Victor's Wife: Yes.::Simon Garden: What a waste.
[demonstrating a remote-controlled toy fire-engine with a camera on the ladder]::Kirsty: What is it?::George: It's a GOTLER.::Kirsty: A what?::Colin: A George-operated time-lock equalising robot.
Colin: What we don't need is a curly headed wanker trying to be Captain Kirk.::Simon Garden: At least he got things done. Imagine you looking for Spock in Star Trek 4: "Oh, sorry, we couldn't find him".::Colin: [laughs] That was Star Trek 3. It was called "The Search for Spock"!

Enemies because they were taught to be. Allies because they had to be. Brothers because they dared to be.
Davidge: "If one receives evil from another, let one not do evil in return. Rather, let him extend love to the enemy, that love might unite them." I've heard all this before... in the human Taalmaan.::Jerry: Of course you have. Truth is truth.
Davidge: Where would you be without me, huh?::Jerry: Back home.
Jerry: It is not longer my life that matters. I am not fat, I am not lazy. Davidge... I await a new life.::Davidge: A new life? From where?::[Jerry uncovers his abdomen]::Davidge: Oh, my God... Oh, my God, are you telling me you're pregnant?
[opening narration]::Davidge: By late in the 21st century, the nations of the Earth were finally at peace, working together to explore and colonize the distant reaches of space. Unfortunately, we weren't alone out there. A race of non-human aliens called the Dracs were claiming squatters' rights to some of the richest star systems in the galaxy. Well, they weren't going to get it [sic] without a fight. Space was the new battleground. For many of us, Earth became a precious memory, light-years away. Our only home was a fortress in space. As in any war, there were long periods with nothing to do but wait. And then...
Davidge: You know something, Jerry? Your great Shismar ain't shit!::Jerry: [angry] Earthman, your Mickey Mouse is one big stupid dope!::[Davidge tries not to laugh]
Davidge: [after Jerry saved Davidge from sand monster] You saved my life. Why?::Jerry: Maybe I need to look at another face... even one as ugly as yours.::Davidge: So you still think humans are ugly?::Jerry: Compared to a Drac? VERY ugly. But that thing out there... is even more ugly than you.::Davidge: [sarcastic] Thank you.::Jerry: [grinning] You... are... welcome.
[last lines]::Narrator: And so, Davidge brought the Dracs home. He fulfilled his vow, and brought Zammis before the Holy Council on Dracon. And, in the fullness of time, Zammis brought its own child before the Holy Council, the name of Willis Davidge was added to the line of Jereeba.
Zammis: Zammis get four five?
Jerry: Daaahweeech. There is no... shppoooooooon...
Jerry: [after Davidge shows him his makeshift shelter] Shit::Davidge: Shit? What do you mean its shit?::Jerry: Not Solid::Davidge: Of course its solid... let me show you::[Kicks the inside of the shelter entrance and the whole thing collapses]

I know that my savior lives
And at the end, he will stand on this earth
My flesh may be destroyed, yet from this body, I will see god
Yes, I will see him for myself - and I long for that moment
Grandma, I really miss you and it ain't been the same
I drop a tear when i, hear yo' name
Mariella holloway, why you gotta be so far away?
Used to say, "don't worry, it's gon' be okay"
But it ain't - it's like when you left, you took the lord witchu
Why couldn't I come when he came to get you?
Damn I really miss you - I had to say it again
I remember the time when I was like ten
Crept up in the neighbor's yard, yeah, bein hard headed
You told me I would get it - you said it!
And boy did I get it, but after you spanked me, you hugged me
Kissed me on my forehead, told me that you love me
And I saw, that it hurt you, more than it hurt me
I thought - how bad could this hurt be? I know now
That's why it's only done out of love
What I wouldn't give for one mo' hug, from grandma
[chorus: faith evans]
Baby it's gon' be okay (she used to tell me that)
Baby it's gon' be okay (I really miss hearin)
Baby it's gon' be okay (she used to tell me that)
Baby it's gon' be okay (I really miss hearin)
[dmx]
What I'm about to say a couple of family members is gon' hate me
But i'ma let you know what's been goin on lately
Now you know since you left, a lot of things witcho kids done changed
Yeah jackie's still crazy, don't know what's up with james
Ain't seen jerry in a while, you know he walk like you
And renee's back in jail, you know she talk like you
Riculah's(? ) doin real good now, she workin
Rhonda's still runnin around, trickin, jerkin
Buckeye's buggin, he done lost his mind
And jarvis? back out of jail, doin fine
Kylie? he done changed, it ain't all about self
As for my father.. well, that's somethin else
But that's my dog, he hold his grandmother down
My great grandmother, makin a lot of trips out of town
But that's a good thing, and if I could only hear you sing
Once more, oh lord, the comfort it would bring
[chorus]
[dmx]
You left behind a mother (and) eleven kids (and) eleven grandkids
And since then, two of yo' grandkids done had kids
They had a boy named tacoma, xavier's brother, that's right
Xavier's means you a great grandmother
I thank you for the best times of my life
I thank you for when you first met her, accepted and lovin my wife
I thank you for those sunday dinners, they were vital
I thank you for my - life, I thank you for the bible
I thank you for the songs that you sing in the mornin
(amazing grace..) while I'm yawnin
I thank you for the two beatings you gave me
Cause I know somewhere along the line
The lesson I learned from the two beatings saved me
And when you died I cried like a baby, I begged the lord to take me
Cause no one else could give me what you gave me
But life like everything comes to an end
I pray I go to heaven to see you again - amen
[chorus] - repeat 2x
[faith evans]
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
La vida hoy me cuesta necesito or tu voz...
Sintate aqu junto a mi
Mi sol, mi sol, mi sol, mi sol...
Cantarte es una fuga para mi
Eres el principio de este fin
Y una sobredosis de ilusin
Reza por mi, reza por mi
Quiero que tu cantes mi cancin
Ya no tengo miedo de morir
Me esperas como yo te espero a ti
Reza por mi te rezo a ti
I don’t want to see your face
Don’t want to crowd your space
I don’t want to know where you’ve been
I don’t want to talk about the government
No I don’t want to make you happy
I don’t want to make you happy
I don’t want to make you happy no more
I don’t want to see your eyes
Don’t want to witness your smile
I don’t want to know where you’ve been
Don’t want to talk about the government
No I don’t want to make you happy
I don’t want to make you happy
I don’t want to make you happy no more
You picked a fine time to leave me
You picked a perfect time to roll
You make it seem easy
When its time to get up and go
I don’t want to crowd your space
Don’t want to be in your face
But I don’t want to let go of you just yet
Could we talk about the government?
No I don’t want to make you happy
I don’t want to make you happy
I don’t want to make you happy no more
Cheers to a girl
I believe her eyes were hazel
We met on a night that was cold and dark
I took her number tried twice to no answer
So I did take a walk home thru the park
And oh yeah nothing good is ever easy
But then again it doesn’t have to be so hard
I understand the weight of indifference
As I stand at the gates of your fortress heart
Where do you go when you say you’ll be right back
You disappear into the thin air
Like a wisp of smoke you linger for a long second
And then you’re gone like you were never even there
And oh yeah nothing good is ever easy
But then again it doesn’t have to be so hard
I understand your spectral moments
As I stand at the gates of your fortress heart
Here’s to a love that never saw fruition
Thrown under the bus of circumstance and time
One thing I know when the circle’s completed
We’ll be the ones with the sad sallow eyes
And oh yeah nothing good is ever easy
But then again it doesn’t have to be so hard
I understand the weight of this moment
As I stand at the gates of your fortress heart
Everyone’s got something
To say these days
Everyone knows how it should be
But it’s a miracle man
Each day goes to plan
The ones that don’t aren’t so easy
I thought I’d write you a letter
Figured I’d call you instead
But it’s hard to see the light
When it’s so bright in your eyes
Another era of our history
Well the night’s too young
For sleeping
And I can’t be the last one to go
What I believe right now
Is we can work it out
I imagine later when it becomes so
Everyone’s speeding on Sunday
Think they got someplace better to be
Let’s not be the ones
Wishing we had done
Something better with our history

Si te conviene me quieres o no
Me tienes me dejas, me traes me sueltas
Yo sigo solo, me sobra tu amor
Y aunque me voy desconecto el rencor
No necesito de nadie, de nadie, de nadie
No necesito de nadie, de nadie, de nadie
No necesito de nadie, de nadie, de nadie
Libre soy de esta prisión
Entre las sombras te veo bailar
Suda tu cuerpo, me quiere tentar
Tu olor me embriaga, no puedo escapar
Si yo te aspiro me puedo perder
