Development Schedule Towards 1.0 Release February 2005: SF-Active developers have met and established a road map towards a 1.0 stable release. Features and changes for 1.0 include:
- Complete Admin Overhaul: New design, new GUI editors, new widgets system.
- Static Mirroring: Ability to fully mirror (by language) static sf-active sites on many servers.
- Syndication: Rewrite of syndication with many ways to configure outgoing or incoming syndication.
- Client/Server Framework: A framework to allow python-based daemons to schedule and fulfill tasks initiated by an sf-active server.
- Code Cleanup and Documentation: The final lingering code clean-up tasks, complete developer's API documentation, and user documentation updated.
This should be the most stable, complete sf-active release to date. An exact schedule for release is not set yet, however a 0.9.8 release will come out before the 1.0 final version.
