Plot
A man tracks down and becomes friends with all the donors who got his wife's organs. Everything goes smoothly until he falls for the woman who got his wife's heart and his friends must help him move on. Chase Fannon is nearly suicidal after his pregnant wife Angel is killed by a drunk driver. His best friend tries to get him to move on and make new friends, but he keeps flashing back to memories of better times. At a preliminary hearing, the drunk driver gets off and Chase attacks him in the courtroom. Because of the attack, Chase has to undergo grief counseling. Worse than that, he has to pay off and apologize to the drunk driver who laughs in his face. Chase's old friends think he's doing well when he finishes the grief counseling course. His best friend is not quite conviced, so he invites Chase's three new friends to a party. One is an old codger, another is a mafia type, and the third friend is a beautiful retro-hippie chick named Ann. Chase seems fine and his relationship with the young woman starts to grow. Then, one by one, his new friends finds out that they all received organs from Angel. The two men are fine with the fact that Chase tracked them down and made friends, but Ann fell hard for him and has a harder time accepting the depth of his grief. Finally, it's Ann who fights hard to help him face the guilt he still has over Angel's death. In the end, the new and old friends help Chase move on to a new life.

Bob Terry is in love with Lois Borden the daughter of his employer, John Borden. When some bonds are missing from the office, Bob is accused and because of Borden's strong sense of obligation to his stockholders, Bob is railroaded to prison. A few years later, the real thief is apprehended and Bob is released. He now begins his plan for revenge against Borden with the aid of his prison cell mate Todd and a gangster, John Carmody. Soon, some bonds are missing again and Borden knows Bob is involved but because Bob has suffered at his hands before, Borden assumes the responsibility and is about to be sentenced to prison. Todd is shot while trying to steal the bonds back from Carmody, but gets the bonds back to Bob and, before he dies, begs Bob to return them to the owner.

Emmanuel Todd, invité de BFMTV et RMC vendredi, s'en est vivement pris à Manuel Valls, après les critiques du Premier ministre sur son ouvrage "Qui est Charlie?". L'intellectuel de gauche Emmanuel Todd ne mâche pas ses mots. Au coeur d'une polémique depuis la publication de son livre "Qui est Charlie?", dans lequel l'historien jugeait "xénophobes" les manifestations géantes du 11 janvier, il a vivement répondu aux attaques de Manuel Valls. Emmanuel Todd s'est d'abord étonné que le Premier ministre ait pris le temps de commenter son ouvrage, "alors qu'il y a 10% de chômage". "Seul un ministre désoeuvré peut perdre son temps à faire faire des notes à des collaborateurs sur un livre. (...) Il y a d'autres personnes au Parti socialiste qui pourraient discuter de ça", a tancé l'intellectuel. "L'optimisme de Valls, c'est l'optimisme du maréchal Pétain" Il a ensuite estimé que le Premier ministre n'avait pas compris son propos. "Soit Manuel Valls n'a pas lu le livre, soit il est vraiment bête. Les deux ne s'excluent pas, d'ailleurs." Jeudi, le chef du gouvernement avait dénoncé les "impostures" de l'intellectuel. "Vouloir faire croire que le 11 janvier était une attaque contre une religion, contre l'islam. A aucun moment! Cette manifestation fut un cri lancé, avec dignité, pour la tolérance et pour la laïcité, condition de cette tolérance", avait estimé Manuel Valls. Mais pour Emmanuel Todd, cet optimisme affiché "alors que le taux de chômage est à 10%, que l'islamophobie se répand, tout comme l'antisémitisme, est insensé". "Pour moi, l'optimisme de Manuel Valls, c'est l'optimisme de la révolution nationale et du maréchal Pétain. Lui aussi accusait les Français résistants d'être des Français pas bien."

France beheading: Man decapitated, several hurt as terrorists with Islamic flag attack gas factory

A decapitated head has been found posted on the gate at the entrance to a gas factory in south-eastern France which came under attack from terrorists this morning, security officials said. Police sources said the decapitated head was found at the site along with a flag bearing Islamist inscriptions. Local newspaper Le Dauphine said the head was also covered in Arabic writing ... He said they attacked the factory “using gas canisters”....
