A teen girl enjoying a rare free weekend from her religious parents is suddenly confronted by a young Mexican intruder, who randomly chose her house to hide out. Seems he was badly beaten by two local thugs in a racially motivated attack and he took his revenge on the two. This put him on the run from the local bigoted sheriff. Slowly the two reveal their emotional baggage and become genuinely attracted to one another.

On August 23, 1992, a black-ops research program led by General Roberts perfected a device to control the weather. It was launched from a specially outfitted plane and tested for the first time. But control of the machine was lost, and within hours a deadly hurricane had formed. It became the greatest natural disaster since the San Francisco Earthquake - Hurricane Andrew. In the wake of this catastrophe, all evidence of the program was buried. Seven years later, General Roberts has revived the top-secret project. He recruits ambitious meteorologist Ron Young, who has developed software that directs weather systems. The STORM device, now equipped with this software, has been launched into a weather front 300 miles off the California coast. Moments after the device has whipped the storm into a full-blown hurricane, Roberts orders it targeted at Mexico. The storm has grown in power to a super-hurricane, with wind speeds exceeding 400 miles per hour. A struggle on board the plane ensues, causing the deadly hurricane to head straight for Los Angeles. Young, who goes up in another C-123, has less than 3 hours to fly directly into the eye of this super hurricane and regain control of the STORM device. However, there are saboteurs on board. A battle at 20,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean is taking place while the city of Los Angeles awaits the coming siege.

The astronauts hook-up with the only normal people left: two good-looking women, and two cute little children; a boy and a girl.

This is the hard and shocking story of life in a British Borstal for young offenders. Luckily the regime has changed since this film was made. The brutal regime made no attempt to reform or improve the inmates and actively encouraged a power struggle between the 'tough' new inmate and the 'old hands'. The film was originally made as a BBC play but it was banned before ever being shown. So 'Alan Clarke' and 'Roy Minton' got it re-made as a film. This is a tough and brutal film and should not be viewed lightly.

Tiny Desk Concerts often require creative and logistical transformations, from electric bands going acoustic to big bands squashing into a tiny space to many players gathering around a single microphone. But the setting is particularly challenging for vocalists, especially those accustomed to heavy production, effects or — in the case of recent guest T-Pain — generous dollops of Auto-Tune. T-Pain's effects-less set grabbed more attention at the time, given the extent to which digital alterations are expected of him, but this performance by Banks is, in its own way, an even greater high-wire act. Banks' terrific full-length debut, Goddess, is constructed out of layer upon layer of electronics, beats, samples and other means of submerging the singer's voice in swirling accoutrements. With assistance from keyboardist/guitarist John Anderson and percussionist Derek Taylor, she's not all alone behind the Tiny Desk, but her expressive voice is fully exposed here. Kicking off her three-song set with "Beggin For Thread," Banks sets the scene in vulnerable, breathily seething fashion before opening the throttle in her choruses. On record, she's placed at the center of lavish productions, each suitable for throbbing remixes and banks of swirling lights. The Senate already approved it last month, meaning the House vote is the last hitch to making it law. So why does this matter? Boom Bust’s Ameera David weighs in. Then, Ameera is joined by Steve Hanke – professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University and director of the Troubled Currencies Project at the Cato Institute. Steve tells us if the Trans-Pacific Partnership will do more good than harm and gives us his take on the ECB’s quantitative easing program. The most alarming part of his analysis was his conclusion that Greek banks are insolvent and no one has the political will or ability to rescue them. After the break, Bianca Facchinei takes a look at the numerous lawsuits against Apple. Recently unsealed documents claim store employees were subjected to mandatory bag checks in stores all over the world, and Apple Music is already prompting investigations into potential antitrust violations. Afterwards, Ameera sits down with Erin Ade to talk about Standard and Poor’s cutting its credit rating on several major European commercial banks this week. The downgrades come as S&P; considers the uncertainty of whether the respective governments where these banks are located can and will provide the support their banking systems would require, should they fail. The Swiss investigation is running in parallel to one being carried out by the US. The 2018 and 2022 World Cups were awarded to Russia and Qatar respectively. But leading Fifa official Domenico Scala has said the awards could be cancelled if evidence emerges of bribery. Both countries deny any wrongdoing. 'Complex' inquiry Fifa is facing claims of widespread corruption after Swiss police raided a hotel in Zurich - where Fifa is based - and arrested seven of its top executives last month. The seven were held at the request of the US justice department which has charged 14 current and former Fifa officials and associates on charges of "rampant, systemic, and deep-rooted" corruption. The charges follow a three-year inquiry by the FBI. Also in May, Swiss prosecutors opened separate criminal proceedings "against persons unknown on suspicion of criminal mismanagement and of money laundering" in connection with the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. However, until now, much less has been revealed about the Swiss investigation than the inquiry being led by the FBI. Mr Lauber told a news conference that the investigation was "huge and complex on many levels" and would take a long time. "So far our investigative team obtained evidence concerning 104 banking relations (relationships between banks and clients). And, be aware that every banking relation represents several bank accounts," Mr Lauber said.

Names of DSIB banks will not be published, says OJK
