The Clean India Campaign launched by the Modi government has been gaining ground, with ministers, the common man and celebrities alike, taking up the cause. The latest on this is that the campaign has taken a new turn, with the launch of a game that promotes the cause of the campaign. The primary player of the game, we hear, will be none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay.
Says a source, "Many celebrities from the film industry have been promoting this initiative, and now, Vijay will be seen in an all-new avatar. He will be the primary player. The game involves the player cleaning litter off the streets."
The game, which will be launched later this month, is cashing in on the actor's popularity with kids. "Vijay has a massive fan following, and a sizeable portion of them are kids. So, this game will have resonance with children, while promoting the cause at the same time."
Elaborating on the features of the game, Shiva of Skytou Solutions, who are the game developers, says, "The game has been designed with five different levels and has easy, medium and hard modes based on the speed and momentum at which the game has to completed. The game will commence in the backdrop of Chennai and continue across the locales of Cochin, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. The game has been directed by Pradeep Kulasekaran and Gowtham."
