Archaeological material for the study of Babylonian law is singularly extensive. So-called "contracts" exist in the thousands, including a great variety of deeds, conveyances, bonds, receipts, accounts, and most important of all, actual legal decisions given by the judges in the law courts. Historical inscriptions, royal charters and rescripts, dispatches, private letters and the general literature afford welcome supplementary information. Even grammatical and lexicographical texts contain many extracts or short sentences bearing on law and custom. The so-called "Sumerian Family Laws" are preserved in this way. Other cultures involved with ancient Mesopotamia shared the same common laws and precedents, extending to the form of contacts that Kenneth Kitchen has studied and compared to the form of contracts in the Bible with particular note to the sequence of blessings and curses that bind the deal. The instructions of Ptahhotep, Sharia Law, and Mosaic law also include certifications for professionals like doctors, lawyers and skilled craftsmen which prescribe penalties for malpractice very similar to the code of Hammurabi.[citation needed] The discovery of the now-celebrated Code of Hammurabi (hereinafter simply termed "the Code") has made possible a more systematic study than could have resulted from just the classification and interpretation of other material. Some fragments of other codes exist and have been published, but there still remain many points whereof we have no evidence.
Babylon [from the Akkadian bāb-ilû, meaning "Gateway of God"] was a city of ancient Mesopotamia, the ruins of which can be found in present-day Al Hillah, Babil Province, Iraq, about 85 kilometers (55 mi) south of Baghdad, in the fertile Mesopotamian plain between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
The earliest source to mention Babylon may be a dated tablet of the reign of Sargon of Akkad (ca. 24th century BC short chronology). The so-called "Weidner Chronicle" states that it was Sargon himself who built Babylon "in front of Akkad" (ABC 19:51).

Following the division of Israel and the Assyrian captivity of the northern tribes, the southern kingdom of Judah adopted the pagan traditions of the heathen nation of ancient Babylon. These traditions, with their associated rituals which included human sacrifice, provoked God to judge the southern kingdom, which judgment the prophet Jeremiah forewarned the Jews for a period of forty years, to no avail.
The Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem in three stages, from 605 to 586 B.C., in which year the Temple of Solomon was demolished and the remaining Jews were c

The earliest source to mention Babylon may be a dated tablet of the reign of Sargon of Akkad (ca. 24th century BC short chronology). The so-called "Weidner Chronicle" states that it was Sargon himself who built Babylon "in front of Akkad" (ABC 19:51).
The Eastern Canaan Amorites conquered and settled in Babylon, making it their capital in 1959 BC. From there, the old Babylonian Kingdom was born. The Kingdom then expanded into a mighty Mesopotamian Empire under the rule of its famous king: Hammurabi, sometime in the 18th century BC.
At that time, Babylon flourished and became the cultural and economical capital of the entire Fertile Crescent. It also became the seat of the renown Code of Hammurabi, the first code of law in Human History.
It was the "holy city" of Babylonia approximately 2300 BC, and the seat of the Neo-Babylonian Empire from 612 BC. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
It has been estimated that Babylon was the largest city in the world from ca. 1770 to 1670 BC, and again between ca. 612 and 320 BC. It was perhaps the first city to reach a population above 200,000.
It is recorded that Babylon's legal system developed a form of negligence law, and Babylon was probably the first culture to develop negligence law. In the common law world, the law of negligence was not fully rediscovered until the 20th century.
The video is a slideshow of pictures, mostly paintings, depicting the city of Babylon.
Some even show an exaggeratingly tall Tower of Babel.
While the Tower of Babel is considered fictional by some, many notable scholars say that it has been influenced by an actual ziggurat: the Etemenanki, built by the 6th century BC Neo-Babylonian dynasty rulers Nabopolassar and Nebuchadnezzar II.

The Code of Hammurabi is an ancient Babylonian law code enacted by the king Hammurabi.
The code, formed of 282 laws, aimed for the implementation of the law of retaliation as basic principle of justice, depending certain punishments on the social status of the lawbreaker.

The new code: Law of Retaliation
Made by the hands of no human creation
Hammurabi, sent by gods to dynamization
In this age of the final civilization
Hammurabi, coming with the Sin-Muballit's protection
Sixth of the first Babylonian dynasty in consolidation
Justification: Is there Shamash's implication
It's just expansion the only way for the ordination?
Becoming: Civilized
Remain in: The System's enslaved
Becoming: Civilized
Decay at: This System's enslaved
War, ambition
Free will abolition
Population: Impossible usurpation
Eye for an eye in eternal connection
Land control: City-state as heart's circulation

Hammurabi: Set the final civilization
Lex talionis seems a fair punishment?

The Babylon Mystery Part 1

The Prophetic king of Babylon changing laws! - Prophecy In The News
This video covers the prophetic king of Babylon known as the beast and/or the Antichrist of the end times biblical prophecy. This end times character is fulfilled through the role of the Mahdi in the false Islamic prophecy. Barack Hussein Obama is consistently, continuously, and currently taking actions that directly relate to biblical prophecy as it comes alive before our very eyes.
May we have eyes to see what is happening. God bless!
