The statues of many military Commanders on Trafalgar Square seem insignificant compared to the four giant lion statues. The lions however, attained and peacefully tolerate children playing on them as well as the snapshots of tourists. The Square is also the geographic center of London and serves as the zero kilometer point from which distances from the city are measured.
