Brunswick Dock
Brunswick Dock is a dock on the River Mersey, in England, and part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the southern dock system, connected to Coburg Dock to the north, Toxteth Dock to the south. The dock was opened in 1832, designed by Jesse Hartley, specifically as a timber dock. It consisted of two lock entrances from the river.
In 1854, Cato, Miller & Company built ships at Brunswick Dock.
The Royal Navy Headquarters (RNHQ) Merseyside is on Brunswick Dock, which includes the HMS Eaglet establishment of the Royal Naval Reserve. The Archer class patrol vessels HMS Biter and HMS Charger are based in the dock. Due to tidal restrictions at Brunswick, however, the two ships spend most of their time at Langton Dock in the North dock system in order to enable them to carry out their University Royal Naval Unit training programs more effectively.
This and the other docks in the southern system are owned by British Waterways, with part of the dock is set aside for moorings.

Liverpool
Liverpool (/ˈlɪvərpuːl/) is a city in Merseyside, England. A borough from 1207 and a city from 1880, in 2014 the city local government district had a population of 470,537 and the Liverpool/Birkenhead metropolitan area had a population of 2,241,000.
Liverpool is in the south west of the historic county of Lancashire in North West England, on the eastern side of the Mersey Estuary. The town historically lay within the ancient Lancashire division of West Derby known as a "hundred".
The urbanisation and expansion of the city were largely brought about by its advantageous location during the industrial revolution status that led to its growth as a major port, which included its participation in the Atlantic slave trade. Liverpool was the port of registry of the ocean liner RMS Titanic, and many other Cunard and White Star ocean liners such as the RMS Lusitania, Queen Mary, and Olympic. Liverpool's status as a port city has contributed to its diverse population, which, historically, was drawn from a wide range of peoples, cultures, and religions, particularly those from Ireland. The city is also home to the oldest Black African community in the country and the oldest Chinese community in Europe.

This term was used to describe certain stations on Berlin's U-Bahn and S-Bahn metro networks that were closed during the period of Berlin's division during the Cold War. Since then, the term has come to be used to describe any disused station on an underground railway line, especially those actively passed through by passenger trains. An abandoned (or disused) railway station is a building or structure which was constructed to serve as a railway station but has fallen into disuse. There are various circumstances when this may occur - a railway company may fall bankrupt, or the station may be closed due to the failure of economic activitiy such as insufficient passenger numbers, operational reasons such as the diversion or replacement of the line. In some instances, the railway line may continue in operation while the station is closed. Additionally, stations may sometimes be resited along the route of the line to new premises - examples of this include opening a replacement station nearer to the centre of population, or building a larger station on a less restricted site to cope with high passenger numbers. Notable cases where railway stations have fallen into disuse include the Beeching Axe, a 1960s programme of mass closures of unprofitable railway lines by the British Government. The London Underground system is also noted for its list of closed stations. During the time of the Berlin Wall, a number of Berlin U-Bahn stations on West Berlin lines became "ghost stations" (Geisterbahnhöfe) because they were on lines which passed through East Berlin territory. Railway stations and lines which fall into disuse may become overgrown. Some former railway lines are repurposed as managed nature reserves, trails or other tourist attractions - for example Hellfire Pass, the route of the former "Death Railway" in Thailand. Many former railways are converted into long-distance cycleways, such as large sections of the National Cycle Network in the United Kingdom. In rural areas, former railway station buildings are often converted into private residences. Examples include many of the stations on the closed Didcot, Newbury and Southampton Railway in England. -

Ghost stations is the usual English translation for the German word Geisterbahnhöfe. This term was used to describe certain stations on Berlin's U-Bahn and S-Bahn metro networks that were closed during the period of Berlin's division during the Cold War. Since then, the term has come to be used to describe any disused station on an underground railway line, especially those actively passed through by passenger trains.

Correction it's called Blundell Street Board School, Hull The Kingston upon Hull School Board was constituted under the Act in 1871 and built 37 new schools during its short life which ended in 1902. One of these, the Blundell Street Board School was built in 1878 and is Hull's oldest surviving board school building (despite various attempts to get rid of it). The building was latterly used as the Hull School of Architecture and then 'The Strand' - The University of Lincolnshire and Humberside's student union venue. Correction it's called Blundell Street Board School, Hull
The Kingston upon Hull School Board was constituted under the Act in 1871 and built 37 new schools during its short life which ended in 1902. One of these, the Blundell Street Board School was built in 1878 and is Hull's oldest surviving board school building (despite various attempts to get rid of it). The building was latterly used as the Hull School of Architecture and then 'The Strand' - The University of Lincolnshire and Humberside's student union venue. It closed in 1998 and was set on fire in May 1999. Various planning applications to demolish it from the University of Lincoln have been refused. Exploring Abandoned Lord Line Building
Opened in 1949, the Lord Line trawler company offices once served as the home of the world's largest deep-water fishing fleet. The site, which is situated toward the undeveloped eastern end of St Andrew's Dock, was closed in 1975 and has remained derelict ever since. Although we couldn't access the full building due to leg injuries we will attempt a part 2 very soon when were fit and ready. In my youth, back when it was still run by Canadian Pacific in its original maroon livery and beaver-topped shields, I had the good fortune to make several trips across Canada on The Canadian. Many years later in 2012 I decided to make it the subject of some footage I was shooting with my brand new video camera. Not content with just a single clip, I shot more footage and before I knew it I had accumulated a quite lot of material, which gave me the idea to put it all together and fill in the gaps so I could have a record of its entire journey as it left Pacific Central Station here in Vancouver and made its way through Burnaby, New Westminster, and across the Fraser River. Opened in 1949, the Lord Line trawler company offices once served as the home of the world's largest deep-water fishing fleet. The site, which is situated toward the undeveloped eastern end of St Andrew's Dock, was closed in 1975 and has remained derelict ever since.

In my youth, back when it was still run by Canadian Pacific in its original maroon livery and beaver-topped shields, I had the good fortune to make several trips across Canada on The Canadian. Many years later in 2012 I decided to make it the subject of some footage I was shooting with my brand new video camera.
Not content with just a single clip, I shot more footage and before I knew it I had accumulated a quite lot of material, which gave me the idea to put it all together and fill in the gaps so I could have a record of its entire journey as it left Pacific Central Station here in Vancouver and made its way through Burnaby, New Westminster, and across the Fraser River.
It turned out to be a lengthy project. The train departs Vancouver at 8:30PM, so shooting was only possible for a few weeks before and after the summer solstice when the sun sets late enough. Combine that with weather challenges, late departures and other issues, and it ended up taking six years to collect enough footage to document the entire run of about 30 minutes.
So here is the result: a presentation of the journey of The Canadian, with the original recorded sound, in approximately real time from when it leaves Pacific Central Station to it's crossing of the Fraser River in New Westminster.
Although edited to look like the continuous journey of a single train, it is of course composed of shots captured over several years - so there are countless "continuity" issues: different cars and locomotives in the consist, differences in the cars or lack thereof being deadheaded at the front end of the train, routing via different tracks, and even different livery as Via Rail introduced their "Prestiege" class cars.
For the curious, this was shot on the following equipment:
