Based on Marvel Comics' superhero character, this is a story of Peter Parker who is a nerdy high-schooler. A video posted online shows a Georgia school principal making racist remarks during the school’s graduation, The Grio is reporting. During graduation ceremonies at the TNT Academy in Lilburn, Georgia, principal Nancy Gordeuk upset the entire crowd – blacks and whites alike – with her racist remarks. During the graduation ceremony, the principal inadvertently dismissed the students before the valedictorian was able to give his speech – the blog GA Followers reports that the principal was “unorganized” throughout the graduation – and students and parents were leaving the building and headed toward their cars when the principal realized her mistake. Trying to corral the attendees back into the room for the valedictorian’s speech, the visibly agitated principal – calling attendees “goobers” and “cowards” – then delivers this zinger. “Look who’s leaving… all the black people!” At that point, the crowd erupts in anger and everyone starts to leave. The racist remark occurs at 1:20 in video posted above. TNT Academy is a nontraditional private school for middle and high school students who may not be properly served by the public education system, according to its website. Students are encouraged to engage in independent study under the direction of a teacher, rather than submit to a pre-determined curriculum, as they would in a more traditional public or private school. “The Purpose of TNT Academy is to encourage academic success by providing opportunities for students to develop strengths and overcome challenges. TNT provides a personalized and positive learning environment which enables each student to reach their potential.” The description under the video posted above on YouTube indicate that the school principal has been accused of racism before, but doesn’t back up that claim with specifics. “There have been multiple allegations in the past accusing the school, and it’s founder Nancy Gordeuk of hold disparaging views towards people of color and this was proved at yesterday’s graduation ceremony.”

Georgia Principal Makes RACIST REMARKS During Graduation Ceremony (VIDEO) When shocking viral events are posted online and spread throughout social media we must learn from the mistakes, mishaps, and bloopers that people make so that we can improve ourselves and thus improve the society we live in. The founder of TNT Academy in Lilburn Georgia made some very questionable comments towards her audience during the graduation ceremony. Students allege that the she released the graduation class but forgot to allow the school's valedictorian to speak. Therefore, she asked all the graduating seniors to come back inside the hall for the final speech. As you could imagine, it was difficult to quiet down the class of high schoolers who were very excited about graduating. That’s when the school’s leader came to the microphone and made some controversial statements. Watch the video and then see my comments. Add your perspective so that we can make this unfortunate situation a “Teachable Moment.” See the video below “Teachable Moment” What biases do we have hidden deep inside the subconscious mind that need to be excavated and brought to the surface and healed? My takeaways: TNT is a school that serves non-traditional students and attempts to find ways to support these students through personalized learning and independent study so that they can graduate. The comments made my this leader are to say the least, shocking and disappointing. Like me, your initial thoughts might be, how could she say such things?” Well, the truth is, in times of conflict, it is difficult to express how we feel without responding emotionally. Further, it is in these times when we are less in control of our conscious thoughts and our unconscious, or implicit biases, show up. Explicitly, we can profess to treat all people equally and “ not see color”. However, the truth is we do see it, we just don’t acknowledge that we do. The result of this is that we are never able to break down our subconscious beliefs about people( that sometimes we don’ t even know that we have). We then subconsciously affirm these beliefs by consciously paying attention to situations that align with these thoughts and beliefs without noticing the exceptions. Let this video be an example that “good” people can do some not so good things. When these unconscious biases come UP and OUT , let us reframe from condemning ourselves or beating ourselves up. Instead, acknowlegde the mishap and immediately begin the process of correcting our beliefs and developing a more balanced perspective based upon facts. The way we all become better is to become more self aware of what lies underneath.

TN school bans 100 SENIORS from graduation after they put trash,urine & DEAD animals in the hallway

Students at one Tennessee high school have been banned from graduation due to their involvement in a prank at the school. 100 Seniors at Sequoyah High School in Madisonville have been accused of misconduct after an act of severe vandalism in which they covered the hallways at the school in hay, urine, trash and even dead animals. In addition to those individuals beings banned from their graduation ceremony, a deputy who let them into the school has been fired from his job and the school principal has been suspended as the incident is under investigation.

Hassan Confronted on Cannabis Hypocrisy at KSC Graduation 2015

This afternoon the hypocrite governor of New Hampshire spoke at Keene State College’s 2015 graduation ceremony. Maggie Hassan, the boss of the state’s executive branch, is likely to veto the cannabis decrim bill if it makes it through the NH senate. It already passed the NH house with a supermajority of votes. It’s clear that decriminalization is what the people of New Hampshire want (it’s also the humane choice), but Hassan throws her loyalty into the camp of the police and cares not one bit about the lives that continue to be ruined because of her inhumane war on pot. Oh, and to make her position even more outrageous, it turns out she herself has used cannabis in her college days. That raging hypocrisy didn’t stop her from showing up at Keene State College and acting like she actually gives a damn about the very same students that her police regularly threaten and harass over victimless crimes like cannabis and alcohol possession. Rich Paul and I went down to KSC today to confront her on these things and were accompanied by local education activist Ed Bryans who was upset with Hassan’s veto of the anti-common core bill. We found her at the end of the commencement and had plenty of time to give her a hard time while she was unable to leave, much to the dismay of a few of her sycophants. Family Graduation - Estacio University

Due to the economic growth in Brazil, many people are now able to finish their studies and obtain their desired diploma. And, in a vast majority, they are the first members of the family to graduate. This makes all the family members work hard for this accomplishment. In order to honor these families and family members who did not have access to education, but struggled to be able to see a relative graduate, we created the Family Graduation. We selected a family with a beautiful breakthrough story, Alzira’s family, and we threw her a surprise on the most important day of their lives: Alzira’s graduation day. All of them took part in the ceremony with a special role, they went on the stage wearing robes and also received special diplomas. A mini-documentary telling this story was filmed and posted on the Internet.
