An edited clip of the annual Christmas Pageant in Adelaide, November 8th 2014. The procession took just over an hour to pass us from start to finish but I have managed to edit it down to about 26 minutes of video footage, while still including all the floats and bands but not showing in entirety so you can get the essence of the day without sitting for an hour to watch it all. It was a great day with the weather being kind, not hot and not raining and 345,000 people (so the papers said) turning up to line the main city streets of Adelaide with family and friends. The usual chalk being handed out so the children could draw and colour in on -

An edited clip of the annual Christmas Pageant in Adelaide, November 8th 2014. The usual chalk being handed out so the children could draw and colour in on the road that the procession was travelling down. This originally was known as The "John Martin's Christmas Pageant" which used to be a large department store in Adelaide and they put it on. complete with a magnificent "Magic Cave" for the children at Christmas, but since it's sale the Credit Union organise the pageant with assistance from their staff and families

A credit union is a member-owned financial cooperative, democratically controlled by its members, and operated for the purpose of promoting thrift, providing credit at competitive rates, and providing other financial services to its members.
Many credit unions also provide services intended to support community development or sustainable international development on a local level, and could be considered community development financial institutions.
Worldwide, credit union systems vary significantly in terms of total system assets and average institution asset size, ranging from volunteer operations with a handful of members to institutions with several billion dollars in assets and hundreds of thousands of members.
Credit unions differ from banks and other financial institutions in that the members who have accounts in the credit union are the owners of the credit union and they elect their board of directors in a democratic one-person-one-vote system regardless of the amount of money invested in the credit union.
