GOASTAFA PRODUCTIONS a multi media film company that produced the Belizean movie STRANDED N DANGRIGA and over 30 concert DVD’s featuring popular Jamaican, Belizean, Trinidadian and other Caribbean artist, around the world. Wwinning the BEST COMEDY Feature film at the Jamaican Reggae film festival announced for the movie STRANDED N DANGRIGA. This was a big surprise to Producer/Director Ross Jordan considering the film was only intended for the viewing pleasure of a small town in Belize called Dangriga and the local cable television companies in Belize.
STRANDED N DANGRIGA was presented at the Belize International Film Festival in June, 2013 and a Judge, Erika Alexander, also an American actress best known for her roles as Pam Tucker on the NBC sitcom the Cosby show, and as Maxine Shaw on the FOX sitcom Living Single called this Belizean film “The Hangover Comedy for Belize”, referring to the box office hit “The Hangover” a $35 million dollar budget film. It’s obvious the budget for STRANDED N DANGRIGA was nowhere near The Hangover but it helped Executive Producer Martin A. Gordon and Producer/Director Ross Jordan decide to include subtitles to the Belizean movie STRANDED N DANGRIGA and take it international beyond the boarders of Belize and the Belizean community.
STRANDED N DANGRIGA has been getting great reviews locally and abroad from the general public, movie critics and news outlets. Channel 7 News Belize called it “Thoroughly Entertaining”, Critic: Angie Quidim of That’s My Entertainment called it “a Beautiful Romantic Comedy in a tropical paradise” and “comparable to the Kevin Hart movies with an independent Caribbean twist” the critic: Pamela Stitch called it “an Entertaining Story that will keep you laughing”. Filmthreat.com said “it’s absorbing and seriously funny, you’ll be glued to the screen while laughing, crying and arguing with your significant other” and “its socially provocative script is extremely well-crafted and very dryly hilarious” The general public from Amazon.com is saying “it’s super funny and the scenery is amazing”, “Love this movie it reminded me of Jamaica”. Members at the Internet Movie Database is saying “I love this comedy”, “hilarious, it reminds me of Venezuela where I’m from” and “enjoyed this movie and l was looking forward to seeing more!”

Dangriga, formerly known as Stann Creek Town, is a town in southern Belize, located on the Caribbean coast at the mouth of Stann Creek. It is the capital of Belize's Stann Creek District and also the largest town in southern Belize. It is served by the Dangriga Airport.
Dangriga was settled before 1832 by Garinagu (Black Caribs, as they were known to the British) from Honduras. For years it was the second largest population centre in the country behind Belize City, but in recent years has been surpassed by Orange Walk Town. Since the early 1980s Garífuna culture has undergone a revival, as part of which the town was renamed Dangriga, a Garífuna word meaning "standing waters".
The population is mostly a mixture of Garinagu, Kriols and Mestizos. According to the 2010 Population and Housing Census, Dangriga's population is 9,096 residents, 4,410 males and 4,686 females. The total number of households is 2,562 and the average household size is 3.6.
Dangriga is home to the Garifuna, a cultural and ethnic group, descendants of shipwrecked slaves and native Caribs. The Garifuna have adopted the Carib language but kept their African musical and religious traditions. Dangriga is also where the Caribbean music, Punta Rock, originated and where some of Belize's folk bands can be found.

The Sacred Heart (also known as Most Sacred Heart of Jesus) is one of the most famous religious devotions to Jesus' physical heart as the representation of his divine love for humanity.
This devotion is predominantly used in the Catholic Church and among some high-church Anglicans and Lutherans. The devotion especially emphasizes the unmitigated love, compassion, and long-suffering of the heart of Christ towards humanity. The origin of this devotion in its modern form is derived from a French Roman Catholic nun, Marguerite Marie Alacoque, who said she learned the devotion from Jesus during a mystical experience. Predecessors to the modern devotion arose unmistakably in the Middle Ages in various facets of Catholic mysticism.
In the Roman Catholic tradition, the Sacred Heart has been closely associated with Acts of Reparation to Jesus Christ. In his encyclical Miserentissimus Redemptor, Pope Pius XI stated: "the spirit of expiation or reparation has always had the first and foremost place in the worship given to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus". The Golden Arrow Prayer directly refers to the Sacred Heart.

Christopher Anthony John "Chris" Martin (2 March 1977) is an English singer-songwriter, who is the lead vocalist, pianist and rhythm guitarist of the band Coldplay. He is well known by fans for his distinctive tenor voice. He is married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Chris Martin was born in Exeter, Devon and is the eldest of five children. His father, Anthony Martin, is a retired accountant, and his mother, Alison Martin, is a music teacher. Martin started his education at the pre-preparatory Hylton School and then went on to preparatory Exeter Cathedral School. It was at the prep school that Martin formed his first band, The Rocking Honkies, with Nick Repton & Iwan Gronow. Their debut performance was met with boos from the crowd. After Exeter Cathedral, Martin boarded at Sherborne School, a boys' independent school in Dorset. He also met future Coldplay manager Phil Harvey at the school. Martin continued his studies at University College London, staying at Ramsay Hall where he read Ancient World Studies and graduated with First Class honours in Greek and Latin. It is here he met future Coldplay bandmates Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Guy Berryman.

Day 4: Entering Guatemala
This was not only my first trip to Central America but my first backpacking trip. This trip was a huge breakthrough in my vision of travel as I have spend the past year evolving my passion and desire for travel. It was suppose to be two plus ones, however my mom didn't make it because of school. So my step father and I happily flew into the beautiful countries of Belize and Guatemala, Two completely different yet diverse lands with amazing people. Although Belize is the only English speaking country in Central America, it is a mixing pot of English, Spanish, Mayan, and coastal Garifuna cultures. Belize is a good mashup of tourist and backpacker all in one.
After flying into Belize Citys airport out the outskirts of the city, we took a cab to the Belize City Water Taxi terminal. From here we took about an hour boat ride to Caye Caulker en route to our island, Ambergris Caye where San Pedro is. San Pedro so far was the most relaxing and most laid back place I have ever been to. WHen they say take it slow, they mean it as time nearly seized to exist and our time there seemed to last longer than we thought, GOOD. We spend half of our second day strolling the beaches, walking around town where all they primarily drive is golf carts, and finally went snorkeling in Shark Alley with sharks, turtles, and fish.
Third day we left the relaxation of the island behind, headed for Belize City and took our first 3 hour chicken bus across Belize for San Ignacio. Although uncomfortable, the bus ride costed us a whopping $4. Once we finally arrived in San Ignacio, we settled in our cozy hotel and took a cab ride over to the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich, 15 to 20 minutes from the Guatemala border and the Mayan ruins of Cahal Pech, outside the city. Considering the distance, we walked from Cahal Pech through the small town of San Ignacio to catch dinner and finally head back to our hotel. Instead of our fourth day cave diving or tubing, we cancelled those plans and headed straight for the Guatemalan border to spend the next five days there before heading back home.
Belize is an amazing country for it's size. It not only offers great tourism but offers foreigners the opportunity to buy land for retirement. As for backpackers, Belize is the most if not one of the more expensive countries in Central America. However, the experience between relaxing on a Belizean beach or hiking up a Mayan pyramid is something that you truly can never forget. For a small English speaking nation in Central America, Belize is Unbelizable. Can you Belize it? :)
Many years ago, I sat in a college classroom glancing at pictures of travel, two years ago I started, last year I left the country for the first time, this trip, I backpacked for the first time. Like all my videos, they represent me as I put my heart into all of my footage. I not only enjoy my time and explore but I hope to give others the opportunity to see how things are done beyond the travel guides and books. This is travel in the eyes of Anthony Perez!
