In 1961, a Balkans Cup for football clubs from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, and Yugoslavia was introduced. It was played (at least) 28 times. The competition never carried much importance in the countries concerned, in contrast to the (much older but also discontinued) Balkan Cup for national teams.
(When sorted by years won or lost, the table is sorted by the date of each teams first won)
Viorel Simion (born October 19, 1981) is a Romanian professional boxer. He is the current WBC International Featherweight champion, being undefeated since his debut.
Bogdan Dinu (born August 15, 1986 in Buzău, Buzău County) is a Romanian professional boxer.
Dinu has also an amateur background winning the U17 World Title in his home country in 2003 and a Bronze at the Euro U17. In 2005 at the European Junior Championships he won silver losing the final against Andrey Volkov.
He turned pro in 2008 and since then he is undefeated, winning all the six fights.
Bogdan Gheorghe Stelea (Romanian pronunciation: [boɡˈdan ˈstele̯a]; born 5 December 1967 in Bucharest) is a retired Romanian footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
Having played professionally into his 40's, he played for all three major first division clubs in his country's capital, and also spent a vast part of his career in Spain, mainly with Salamanca.
Stelea started playing football at hometown's FC Dinamo Bucureşti, being the club's undisputed starter by 1988. In the 1991–92 season, he still appeared in 11 Liga I games as the capital side won the national championship, but signed late in 1991 with RCD Mallorca, for $650.000. After two seasons in Spain, with relegation in his first, as last, he joined Belgium's Standard Liège but, unsettled, quickly returned home, with FC Rapid Bucureşti.
After one season in Turkey with Samsunspor, Stelea returned again to his country and joined FC Steaua Bucureşti, the defending champions; in his two-year spell, the side renewed its domestic supremacy and participated in the UEFA Champions League, with the player contributing significantly.
