Letterman is also a television and film producer. His company Worldwide Pants produces his show as well as its network follow-up The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Worldwide Pants has also produced several prime-time comedies, the most successful of which was Everybody Loves Raymond, currently in syndication.

Letterman was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. His father, Harry Joseph Letterman (April 1915 – February 1973), was a florist of British descent; his mother Dorothy Letterman (née Hofert, now Dorothy Mengering), a Presbyterian church secretary of German descent, is an occasional figure on the show, usually at holidays and birthdays.
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (/ˈstɛfəniː dʒʌrməˈnɑːtə/ STE-fə-nee jurr-mə-NAH-tə; born March 28, 1986), known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in New York City, she primarily studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart and briefly attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts before withdrawing to focus on her musical career. She began performing in the rock music scene of Manhattan's Lower East Side, and was signed with Streamline Records by the end of 2007. During her employment as a songwriter for the record company, her vocal abilities captured the attention of recording artist Akon, who signed her to his label Kon Live Distribution.
Lady Gaga came to prominence as a recording artist following the release of her debut album The Fame (2008), which was a critical and commercial success that topped charts around the world and included the international number-one singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". After embarking on the The Fame Ball Tour, she followed the album with The Fame Monster (2009), which spawned the worldwide hit singles "Bad Romance", "Telephone" and "Alejandro". The album's success allowed her to embark on the eighteen-month long Monster Ball Tour, which later became one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time. Her most recent album Born This Way (2011) topped the charts of most major markets and generated more international chart-topping singles, including "Born This Way", "Judas" and "The Edge of Glory". Besides her musical career, she involves herself with humanitarian causes and LGBT activism.
Plot
HAROLD is an allergy-prone recluse, living in a small Echo Park (Los Angeles) house in the center of a vibrant and loud Hispanic community. He spends his days obsessing over his collection of microphones, compressors, and sonic devices -- recording neighborhood sounds and eavesdropping on the conversations of others to enjoy from the safe, hypoallergenic realm of his insulated home. That is, until a growing pile of bills leads him to rent out his garage to the vivacious young ALLY, a bike mechanic with an almost anthropological interest in "weirdoes". Needless to say, she is fascinated by Harold, but shows little regard for his personal space. When Harold's 6-year-old neighbor PEARL goes missing, Harold's world is turned upside down when he realizes that his neighborhood recordings, along with the mysterious appearance of several strange objects in his home, may provide clues to the case. Not trusting the police, the unlikely pair vow to find Pearl themselves by spying on their neighbors and pursuing their own suspects. Ally's drive and Harold's fear prove a difficult and sometimes comic detective partnership as Ally pushes Harold far beyond his realms of comfort and challenges the very nature of his identity. Against the backdrop of a small community's mystery, "The Sound and the Shadow" examines the very character of our homes -- how we live, love, and hide inside of them.
Be careful what you listen for.
Plot
Many myths and legends surround the religion which we are going to tell you about in our film. Some of its ceremonies are shrouded in mystery. This religion was founded several centuries ago in Western Africa and then crossed the Atlantic via ships carrying slaves, spreading to territories as diverse as Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, Brazil and the US. Today there are more than 50 million followers all over the world. But the cradle of this religion is Benin, formerly Dahomey. The film invites you to follow suit and try to lift the shroud of mystery around the Benin voodoo cult and its most entertaining ceremonies. The plot will revolve around a boy who pass a puberty rite in order to become faithful voodoo priest!
Plot
Humans perceive their daily life in the world as a reality. This is due to the belief of cause and effect. The belief of cause and effect creates thoughts of actions, which convince man his day is filled with events and situations. Conclusions about these make way for emotions man experiences, which include misery and the quest for happiness. This documentary, based on the books written by Dr. Vijai S. Shankar crosses the boundaries of mind by stripping away beginnings and endings and the concept of time, thereby exposing doer-ship as illusory. The documentary unveils time and reality for what they really are, an optical and auditory illusion of light and sound.

A Classic Bedtime Story For A New Generation
A Bedtime Story
Harry Farber: This is like a moment from a horror movie.
Harry Farber: Hello? Is the bathroom on this level working? A dog inside the building! Go! Shoo! Why you're not a dog at all. My god, this is like a moment from a horror movie. This is precisely the moment where the mutation or beast will attempt to kill an unlikable side character. But, in stories where there has been no prior cursing, violence, nudity or death, such as in a family film, the unlikable character will escape his encounter, and be referenced later in the story, having learned valuable lessons. He may even be given a humorous moment to allow the audience to feel good about him. This is where I turn to run. You will leap for me, I will shut the door, and you will land a fraction of a second too late. [Turns to run, is killed by wolf]
Mrs. Bubchik: He's [Mr. Bubchik] probably looking in the mirror. He has this growth on his ass! Don't tell him I told ya.
Young-Soon Choi: Mr. Heep, my mom told me more of the story before she threw a cushion at me.
Vick: Am I gonna die, because I wrote this?::Story: Yes.
Anna Ran: He's hearing the voice of God through a crossword puzzle!
Story: It's about to get very dangerous
Young-Soon Choi: [repeatedly] Goodbye Mr Heep.
Cleveland Heep: H-how was the movie?::Harry Farber: Sucked::Cleveland Heep: Oh... what a shame.::Harry Farber: Characters were walking around, saying their thoughts out loud. Who does that? And in a typical romance where the couple finally tell each other they love one another in the rain. Why does everyonelike to stand around and talk in the rain in movies?::Cleveland Heep: Um... well maybe it's a metaphor for purification; starting new.::Harry Farber: No, it's not!
Cleveland Heep: [to Story] Thank you for saving my life.
Moving step by step,
Our obstacles are slowly crossed.
Lyke bards we'll journey throught on our own roads.
We'll follow our destiny.
In time we'll confront deep misfortunnes and true misunderstandings.
We are the wariors in our battle.
We fight with hope as our weapon.
Deserters who will not believe in tomorrow
and the dead will leave us with sorrow
On and on, we're facing our destiny with forces on edge.***
Holding high the flags of pride,
We're marching to break the walls of mortality.
We shall lead!
We are the chosen - we are the sentinels.
We clutch our hearts with our honor.
We've become witness,
We have now fallen into a plague of cruelty.
I can find my own life in reality,
I'll never be lonely.
May I find security
(I'll find inmortality)
I can find my own life in reality,
I'll never be lonely.
May I find security
(I'll find inmortality)
A muntiny of slaves emerging from the shadows
Know that we must fight.
With our swords and our shields,
We'll figth until the dawn.
We'll carry on!.
The skeptics shall be astounded when they hear the strongest chanting,
They'll be howling!
Like a vulcano crupting and rocking the earth.
The village will bleed.
We pay for the voices of horsemen becouse deep inside
Of your minds we'll sort the lost and the hunger,
Misery and pestilence and death!
Ohh the story will change - a new sun will rise.
We're gainig freedom.
Free until the end.
Our flag will be waving strong from the mountains to the seas.
We'll rise from the obscuriy,
Ready to fight a bloody war of equality.
I feel the four winds blowing on my shoulders,
Whispering to me (sail om they soul.)
I hear tha fallen angels singing to me (lay down thy soul.)
I know that what I seek is out there.
I've seen it in my dreams.
There rests the book of holy secrets,
One day I shall fly.
And as I rest tonight,
I'm dreaming of sword in hand in flight.
I feel temptations arm to give in and avoid any harm.
The prize is there for me,
The messeger of the restored liberty.
Awake with vengefull eyes at dawn,
My minds war is won.
Friends from the dark all take revenge,
Creating forces of revelion.
The brotherhood could never understand
That the truth all lies inside their minds.
The storm is brewing .
Pretends to rape or souls.
Drowns our hearts and desires,
But the songs rebel and gives us power
that holds forever in our hearts.
Wars start in every land which we could not win.
The earth was green for our tears.
Its eternity is all we wish for on earth forevermore!
We all want to live,
Don't want to die.
To keep moving on,
But in order to live we still suffer on.
The end of our days we keep looking forward and onward to live.
We all want to see beyond misery the harsh poverty.
The workers will be the warrior seed.
Their conscience will lead us into salvation,
The truth will stay strong.
Moving step by step we're leaving a marked path.
We cross and our lives will forever follow...
Where'd you get that dress?
Where'd you learn to walk like that?
Don't talk back
Tell me where you've been - maybe I don't want to know
Oh, Lord, why me?
You were so much, so much mine, now I reach for you
and I cannot find you
So much, so much mine, now I reach for you
and I cannot find you
So much mine
So much mine
So much mine
You know you've got my hands,
and you've got your father's eyes -
lovely, bold eyes
I know that it's not fair, but things aren't always what they
seem - and now I worry so -
Where you'll lay your head, where you'll sleep tonight,
Way up high, why, oh why can't I
Someone's pillow's cold, someone loved you so,
And bluebirds sang, "There's no place like home"
(They sang)
Where's the heart in me that made the one in you so cold,
Please don't go
'Cause I know where you got that dress, I know where you
learned to walk like that
'Cause you were so much, so much mine
now I reach for you
and I cannot find you
So much, so much mine
now I reach for you and I cannot find you
(Where you'll lay your head, where you'll sleep tonight,
Way up high, why, oh why can't I
Someone's pillow's cold, someone loved you so,
And bluebirds sang, "There's no place like home"
They sang)
So much mine
So much mine
So much mine
My mother moved the furniture when
she no longer moved the man
We thought nothing of it at the time
She painted walls, painted smiles,
Checked herself in the mirror one more time,
Then yoked her heart to a whim
But the history of desire is such that just one word -
just one touch could send it reeling
She passed go again and again
never collected her two hundred
Or landed on the purple with the Jones'
She wanted to be a different person
She sat down, finally, and he walked away
He walked away
She listened to the angel - she said to flatter
She said to coo - she said it won't matter
I thought I was by myself, but I cannot kill
the angel in the house
Even in my wildest heart, I cannot kill
the angel in the house
the angel in the house
the angel in the house
You hang on to the pieces of the game that don't talk back
Don't sneak around
Movable objects, but, where were we?
Don't let anything happen
We're back to the wheel, back to fire, onto the high wire
'Cause she listened to the angel - she said to flatter
She said to coo - she said it won't matter
I thought I was by myself, but I cannot kill
the angel in the house
Even in my wildest heart,
I cannot kill the angel in the house
the angel in the house
the angel in the house
the angel in the house
the angel in the house
the angel in the house

As cold as they come I need to hear stories
What has been finished in people like me
And I've often wondered how good stories end
The closer the more I'm impressed I try like the rest to
write my own story
But somehow your pen gets in the way
And I've often wondered how nothing compares
Watching the night be repaired
As pilgrims we come and need to hear stories
That offer a memory of virtue of love
And I've often wondered how after we mend
Even when I was a little girl -- even then
No one could tell me why, no one convinced me,
Through the cathedral,
The high windows spilling crimson light
Cross the deceived ones, no evidence of grace in their eyes
But when I saw the father, shaken, spent like spare change,
On his knees and under the gun
Then I wondered what would become of me
You might have told me that love is not enough
You might have lied and told me that it was,
The gilded cage and the holy three
Don't tell the truth as far as I can see
And in the end you choose someone, something, and
Others fade from view
And the world outside your lives exhausts you
Therein lies the ritual, you harbor no curiosity for the
High windows, the crimson light, or the deceived ones -
Dying randomly
But when I saw the father, shaken, spent like spare change,
On his knees and under the gun
Then I wondered what would become of me
You might have told me that love is not enough
You might have lied and told me that it was,
The gilded cage and the holy three

I'm sick and tired of blending in
And never telling anyone
How You set this sinner free
You found me living without hope
And then You drew me to Yourself
And Your mercy made me clean
And I will tell Your story for the world to hear
I will tell Your story for the world to hear
Of Your great love and how it rescued me
You came into the world You made
And then died upon a tree to bring us back to You
You're like fire in my bones and like fire in my soul
And I can't hold You in anymore
And I will tell Your story for the world to hear
I will tell Your story for the world to hear
Of Your great love and how it rescued me
And I will tell Your story for the world to hear
I will tell Your story for the world to hear
Of Your great love and how it rescued me
What if nobody told me?
Where would I be without You now?
What if nobody told me?
Where would I be?
I will tell Your story
I will tell Your story
And I will tell Your story for the world to hear
I will tell Your story for the world to hear
Of Your great love and how it rescued me, oh
And I will tell Your story for the world to hear
I will tell Your story for the world to hear
Remember you, remember me when you were young,
Now you've gone your way; hope you make it back someday,
Someday is never, someday might be so cruel,
Just make it this day,
Come on back to what you always knew.
Story, it's a story,
We're a story,
Story of how it all began,
Story, it's a story,
We're a story,
Story of how it all began.
How long can you hold out? How long can you wait?
Some say it's destiny, others say it might be fate,
The love's forever, the hope is for the world,
Let's make it this day,
Go on back to what you always knew.
Story, it's a story,
We're a story,
A story of how it all began,
Story, it's a story,
We're a story,
Story of how it all began.
All began, all began.
Story, it's a story,
We're a story,
Story of how it all began,
Story, a little bit of story,
We're a story, yeah,
Story of how it all began, all began.
Story, (story, yeah)
Story, (it's a story)
Story, (we're a story)
Story, (story)
Story, (it's a story)
Story, (we're a story)
Story, (story, yeah)
Story, (it's a story, yeah)
Story, (we're a story)
I'll tell you a storyOf how the past it lies, it dies
All of your regrets and all of your glory
Oh, how the time it flies, flies bye
She said, I leave at two
Memories of old fade with the new
Good times and bad we've had a few
Help me to understand what can I do
Bye, she said, We are through,
we once stuck together but we lost the glue,
we became one but now add up to two
it was never up to me or to you
She don't need me no more
Time will forget her I'm sure
I'll shut it down but there they go,
thoughts of her fleeting.
I wish that I could keep them
My mother moved the furniture
When she no longer moved the man
We thought nothing of it at the time
She painted walls, painted smiles
Checked herself in the mirror one more time
Then yoked her heart to a whim
But the history of desire is such
That just one word, just one touch
Could send it reeling
She passed, go again and again
Never collected her two hundred
Or landed on the purple with the Jones
She wanted to be a different person
She sat down, finally
And he walked away, he walked away
She listened to the angel, she said to flatter
She said to coo, she said it won't matter
I thought I was by myself
But I cannot kill the angel in the house
Even in my wildest heart
I cannot kill the angel in the house
The angel in the house, the angel in the house
You hang on to the pieces of the game
That don't talk back, don't sneak around
Movable objects, but, where were we?
Don't let anything happen
We're back to the wheel
Back to fire, onto the high wire
'Cause she listened to the angel, she said to flatter
She said to coo, she said it won't matter
I thought I was by myself
But I cannot kill the angel in the house
Even in my wildest heart
I cannot kill the angel in the house
The angel in the house, the angel in the house
The angel in the house, the angel in the house
You told me a story of how things used to be
You scold me it's boring
I don't pay any attention
I'm sinking I'm thinking I'm drinking
It's myself that I'm second guessing
I'm yelling I'm shouting I shut up
When will I learn my lesson?
Now I play by the rules
I can't say that they're fair
I move ahead to fall back
wance upon a time

With LKJ, it's a lot of work to decipher the lyrics. Here's the best I can make out so far.
Once upon a time
just like in a nursery rhyme
before piggy turn swine
me did wear
for my fear
on my face
like a shield
like a mask
an everybody think me cool and deadly
Nothing you could have said
would have make me take it off
and if you get me nervous
I woulda just laughed it off
an everybody think me cool and deadly
But not so long ago
just like in a picture show
where the hero gets a blow
me spirit gets vexed
an me get so restless
that me get careless
and go bare me mawgah(?) chest
Me never even think
that things are make outta glass
that the whole wide world coulda see
right down to the feeling in my heart
how them twist-up
how them tie-up
how them tight-up
oh my heart
how it cut-up
how it craw-up
how it scar-up
It's a hard act to master you know
this smiling and skining your teeth
when your heart swell up so till you feel it gonna bust
when you can't find the rhyme to fit the beat
when you can't find the answer for the puzzle complete.
So (?) me take off me mask
and start for wear dark glass
but every so often
me have to take it off
and every now and then
me find me last
onnu(?) ever
see me trial
see me crosses?
Marisa Jones you watch the black suits walking past
Your life was empty for a while
Michael Porter has a new girl in his arms
She has a cherry flavoured smile
You watch as he greets her
His arms around her shoulder
Hell try to believe that its you
When he kissed you
Those delicate shoes
Used to walk you straight to the moon
Now he wonders why he never stayed.
Michael Porter you flew in from Timbuktu
You missed her red hair and her style
Marisa Jones now she's living all on her own
She loves the freedom of the wild
He pleads: Give me something!
She needs nothing from him
And she'll try to believe that its fate
And she'll miss you
But its far too late now
She's done through
Finished with crying for anyone
And now she wonders why she ever stayed.
Do you stop to think it all through?
When you run to
The love that you needed
To pull through
It ended too soon
And you tried too hard now its over between you
Nothing compares to the love you shared
But its all just a story now
And I hope your both happy now
[O.C.]
Timmy wanted a name, tryin to gain fame like a skeezer
Robbed the spot and stole ice from the freezer
He's a fool, cause he went in without a mask on
Now he's on the run so he dipped to Nebraska
Hasn't crossed his mind, his girl named Olivia
She'll talk the fall for the jump from Bolivia
Asides that, he fat, livin on his own-ah
Diminshed the friendship style, now a loner
Relaxed while his family is gagged and tied up in New York
Askin them, to confess his whereabout
No one fesses up so the Columbian scores a blister
Shovin up a broomstick to his sister
[Chorus: whispered]
Believe it or not.. [x3]
Believe it or not, believe it or not..
[O.C.]
Everyone screams like hell souls are damned
Mommy gives up cries like bleacher's bed fans
The experience was 'aww shit' like movie flicks
But the men inside they treat, the women like tricks
One beats his meat, the other Columbian he pounds mommy down
the longer Timmy stays out of town
You get tortured, all of your babies and on no slackin for
the nigga disses so he insists return
He knows little of the pain that the family endure
Still he deal his disease for sure
He had a cure far worse like candy kids steal from a store
Livin off his heist like a crack whore
[Chorus x2]
[O.C.]
Check it out
Enough of the games one said, butt open high
Started with ma, gave her a Columbian necktie
Doin the daughter far worse, I tell
Pullin her skin back slow, peels off her toenails
Raw skin exposed plus Gus that wasn't all
They drenched her feet, with a whole lot of alcohol
The babies were baked, like cakes in the oven
No remorse was governed, in their hearts was stone cold nothin
He lacked love for his fam, obvious ain't it
He traded blood for money, just readin
picked up a local newspaper and paid it; family slain - drug related
He stood stiffer than a patient bein sedated
Face still blew upon on it like wind
Instead of you they took it out, on your last line of kin
And now a sour taste devour your breath, what's left
is a thief that had his family tortured to death
[Chorus x2]
story.. it's a story..
story.. it's a story..
Ever wonder about what she s doing
Or how it all turned to lies
Sometimes I think it might be better
To never ask why
Cause where there is desire
There s gonna be a flame
And where there is a flame
Someone s bound to get burned
But just because it burns
Doesn t mean you re gonna die
You gotta get up and try, try, try, try
You gotta get up and try, try, try, try
You gotta get up and try, try, try, try
It s funny how the heart can be deceiving
More than just a couple times
Why we do we fall in love so easy
Even when it s not right
Cause where there is desire
There is gonna be a flame
And where there is a flame
Someone s bound to get burned
But just because it burns
Doesn t mean you re gonna die
You gotta get up and try, try, try, try
You gotta get up and try, try, try, try
Ever worried that it might be ruined
And does it make you wanna cry
When you re out there doing what you re doing
Are you just getting by
Tell me are you just getting by
Cause where there is desire
There is gonna be a flame

Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be Your name
Forgive me, Oh sweet Jesus
'cause I turned away from You and I wanna tell a story
Chorus
You've always been by my side
You bring me back in your arms
You hold me tight
Amelisa, it's May and blossoms 1957, single, but bold
I see you, belle of the ball and
hometown sweetheart, gifted
I want to tell you seize this day,
Let someone else go tend tradition,
Take what's yours
No one else can tell your fire, paint with your words,
sing with your voice,
Take what's yours
Amelia, I see you all in white and lovely, blinded, by love
And he too, is beautiful, and young, and blind
I want to tell you he's the wrong man, you'll look
Back
You were told that this is what you want, but it will hurt you
(You can't live for someone else)
But you live
For me
For me
For me
He would do things to make your life easier
but never talk to you - know you at all
You were his showpiece,
charming as you entertained all his fancies
I wish I could have seized that day and torn it
from your history
(For me)
Now it comes down to a life that might have soared
(for me)
But I can tell your fire, paint with your words,
sing with your voice
Nobody can take what's mine
From me
From me
From me
Me and Rex took the car, ha, ha, stay home, stay
We're gonna run over all the neighborhood cats
'Cause they tease us from the other side of the fence
We're gonna go in the swamp and you can't hose us off
Dog dreams, dog dreams
Please don't wake us up
No bad dog, no stay
No basement, no way
No choke chain, no dry food
No fetch game, no, no, no
No bad dog, no stay
No basement, no way
No choke chain, no dry food
No sit, lie down, roll over, shame
Me and Rex took the car, ha, ha, stay home, stay
We're gonna go through everyone's garbage
Have the dinners we deserve
We're gonna find some great smelling bitches
And see if they meant what they said from the end of the leash
Dog dreams, dog dreams
Please don't hose us off
No bad dog, no stay
No basement, no way
No choke chain, no dry food
No fetch game, no, no, no
No bad dog, no stay
No basement, no way
No choke chain, no dry food
No sit, lie down, roll over, shame
No bad dog, no stay
No basement, no way
No choke chain, no dry food
No fetch game, no, no, no
No bad dog, no stay
No basement, no way
No choke chain, no dry food
No sit, lie down, roll over, shame
Bad dog, bad dog
Bad dog, bad dog
Bad dog, bad dog
I'd settle for less but I'd hold you accountable
Knock on your door but I wouldn't take "no" for a ride
A month in the country, a day by your side
Two years in the forest, I can't see the trees if you hide
And if I forgot, could you make me remember
The piece of myself that I left winding by
It's on the top current of love's final breeze
There at the still point,
That's where I'll be
We would find hindsight at the edge of the world,
Love at the end of indifference
We'd be the lovers that time could forget
Distance would forge us, make us stronger in the end
And if you forgot, could I make you remember
The piece of yourself that you gave long ago
It's on the top current of love's final breeze
There at the still point,
That's where I'll be
At the still point, at the still point
At the still point of desire
At the still point, the still point
At the still point of desire
At the still point, at the still point
At the still point of desire
We'd be forever, a month in the country,
A day by your side, two years in the forest
A decade of hopeful, a terrible leap,
When it all comes out in the wash
I will love you
I will love you
At the still point, at the still point,
At the still point of desire
At the still point, at the still point
At the still point of desire
At the still point, the still point
At the still point of desire
At the still point, at the still point
In the gloaming, oh my darling
When the lights are soft and low
And the quiet shadows, falling,
Softly come and softly go
When the trees are sobbing faintly
With a gentle unknown woe
Will you think of me and love me,
As you did once, long ago
In the gloaming, oh my darling
Think not bitterly of me
Though I passed away in silence
Left you lonely, set you free
For my heart was tossed with longing
What had been could never be
It was best to leave you thus, dear,
Best for you, and best for me
In the gloaming, oh my darling
When the lights are soft and low
Will you think of me, and love me
This is the last time, this time I will win
It took a long time to gain this weight,
It will take a long time to lose it again
I will have only water for a week, then maybe carrots,
and celery, and if I lose then Sunday I'll have brown rice
Because someone will adore me when my ribs show clearly
and I'm thin even when I sit down
Someone will admire my gorgeous arms and legs
when I'm only one hundred pounds
I bought a doctor's scale on sale today
It takes up half the bathroom, and it's really ugly,
but I know it's going to help me reach my goal
I get so dizzy when I stand up fast, and I don't feel like
dancing but I know I'm gonna do it this time, for sure
Now I walk past the fatsos eating doughnuts,
with cream filling, icing, jimmies, and I am so glad I am not
like them
Because someone will adore me when my ribs show clearly
and I'm thin even when I sit down
Someone will admire my gorgeous arms and legs
when I'm only one hundred pounds
Last night I dreamed I ate a chocolate cake, and when I
woke up I was sure it was true so I weighed myself just to
make sure and drank a diet coke
I know, you'll do it, you'll do it for this
One day you'll think he's the one
You'll follow him over oceans, he'll promise you the world
He will parade you around the seas
He'll murmur his affection, his devotion
He will convince you to leave the deep
He'll promise you the world
(But) if you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?
If you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?
If you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?
Do it for...
love..
('cause you want the ocean and not what he's giving you)
you want the ocean and not what he's giving you
you want the ocean and not what he's giving you...
Your legs will go first, to needles and pins,
and then your voice
You promised him you'd come back forever
he promised you the world
If you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?
If you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?
If you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?
If you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?
Do it for...
If I were blind
Would it all come down to this?
Would you still love me?
And if I were wrong
Would it still be the same fade to black
As I reach for you?
Falling, falling away, I am falling
Falling away from love again
If there were time
To say everything and no more
Although it's indistinct
And if there were days
And nights alone, again
Would you still reach for me?
Falling, falling away, I am falling
Falling away from love again
Because if you were blind
It would all come down to this
I would still love you
And if you were wrong
It would still be
The same fade to black
'Cause I am falling, falling in love, I am falling

Oh Louisa, oh my darling,
It wasn't supposed to be this way
Who'd have thought, after all
It wasn't supposed to be this way
But I was wrong, (and here is where you have to
imagine the rest)
WRONG
I was wrong, (It's different than words now)
On a missing person afternoon
It's a Monet, like a daydream
Glowing in the wandering light
You had an angle, I had mine
Needles in the haystack
But I was wrong (and here is where you have to
imagine the rest)
WRONG
I was wrong, (It's different than words now)
On a missing person afternoon
I imagine where you are, I imagine what you can see
I imagine where you are, what you can see
I'll remember you, but I imagine
Almost in the same breath
The colors fade, in the dusk
You pull your sweater close around you
I was wrong, (there's a mystery on the road tonight)
WRONG
I was wrong, (and either way it's a leap of faith)
On a missing person afternoon,
Missing person afternoon
verse 1:
I remember when you called me
and you were crying
Cause you knew that she'd been lying
even now when she says that she loves you
and you think you still love her too
take a minute and look inside yourself
recognize there's someone else
well they won't change a point of you
cause I wanna be with you
I would never let you down
no never
I will always be around
Refrain:
Cause it's just the way the story goes
how it ends nobody knows
Tell me what I have to do
Cause I just wanna be with you
Cause it's just the way the story goes
how it ends nobody knows
Now tell me what I have to do
Cause I just wanna be with you
I just wanna be with you
verse 2:
Now you're thinking 'bout the moments
that she was with you
not about the things you went through
How you felt that you couldn't get in there
But baby I'm the one who's been here
And I'm not gonna ever leave your side
There's nothing I need to hide
Baby there's so much I feel for you
but you need to feel me too
I would never let you down
no never
I just wanna be with you
take me with you
I don’t care if I’m bored
leave behind those jagged plains
over oceans
I would follow you
just,
(jonatha)
say that you love me
I know you do
say it one more time
you know that I need you
I won’t deny
can’t believe you’re mine.
tell me
I am the one
tell me I’m the one.

I am the one.

[Jennifer] tell me I am the one
tell me I’m the one.
tell I am the one
tell me I’m the one.
say you love me
I know you do
say it one more time.
you know I need you
I won’t deny
can’t believe your mine…]
when we get there
let’s take the sleeping train
Ireland, Italy and Spain
over oceans
I would follow you
just,
(jonatha)
say that you love me
I know you do
say it one more time
you know that I need you
I won’t deny
can’t believe you’re mine.
tell me
I am the one
tell me I’m the one.
tell me

tell me I’m the one…)
[Jennifer] tell me I am the one

tell me I’m the one.
say you love me
I know you do
say it one more time.
you know I need you
I won’t deny
can’t believe you’re mine…]
I will love you
forever
a castle for two
we could even
stay right here but
over oceans
I would follow you.
just,
(jonatha)
say that you love me
I know you do
say it one more time
you know that I need you
I won’t deny
can’t believe you’re mine.

I know you do

you know I need you
I won’t deny
Do you mean all the things you are?
Are you pleased with the way things are?
Wear that dress to protect this scar,
That only I have seen.
Do you give just to please yourelf?
Do you wish you were somewhere else?
Justified all the things you tried,
said that it was all for me.
And be near,
Just for the moment,
Stay here,
Never go home.
Did you know that everything she ever does is for you?
So it goes, the story of a broken heart comes true,
It comes true.
Have you learned all the secrets yet?
Will you burn by the things I've said?
Took the dive just to feel alive,
but never heard the truth.
Now I'm in love but I don't know how
I'm in pain cause I want it now
As I sit watching her eyes close,
I slowly open mine.
And be near,
Just for the moment,
Stay here,
Never go home.
Did you know that everything she ever does is for you?
So it goes, the story of a broken heart comes true, comes true.
I am so confused by this.
I know that life is hit or miss.
Days are stung by too much sun,
I think that you may be the one.
Cover yourself up in me,
Shrouded in what could have been.
I will listen to your pain,
if you listen to me.
Did you know that everything she ever does is for you?
So it goes, as the story of a broken heart comes true,
Did you know that everything she ever does is for you?
And I know, the story of a broken heart comes True,
Come true,
True,
It comes true,
Hear me when I speak
And just listen and try not to be
Some kind of self righteous high being
With the opposite mislead me
To better your mind and see
This is a story of how we can't be
They're building you up to tear you down
They won't admit it but it's true
Smiling advice to end with your frown
'Cause they don't want what's best for you
It's sad I know, I know
But you know I'm something else
And now's my time to just sit back and tell
That you don't know just when to stop
You're living life to be on top
So start back here and be realin'
And just admit the way you feelin'
See we're all one page learning gang
And it's true that
We all want to be the baddest
We all have a little baggage
Even though we hide it
And we always will deny it
We are driving this float down Maine
In this pride parade
And I'm not saying that I'm any better than you
Sometimes I have motives that are just so stupid
I play the fool but man you're killing me
The charade has got to end
So stop acting like you know everything
Because you're missing the point
You were supposed to be my friend
You don't know just when to stop
You're living life to be on top
So start back here and be realin'
And just admit the way you feelin'
See we're all one page learning gang
And it's true that
We all want to be the baddest
We all have a little baggage
Even though we hide it
And we always will deny it
We are driving this float down Maine
In this pride parade
I don't, I don't know, know
Just try, just try to lean away
Take me to another place
Where I know, I know what's happening
To my head and to my dreams
'Cause I want, I want, I need, I need
Some peace of mind and clarity
So just take take my hand and let's leave
You don't know just when to stop
You're living life to be on top
So start back here and be realin'
And just admit the way you feelin'
See we're all one page learning gang
And it's true that
We all want to be the baddest
We all have a little baggage
Even though we hide it
And we always will deny it
We are driving this float down Maine
In this pride parade
Ohh, ohh, ohh, oh, oh
Ba, da, da, da, da
Ohh, ohh, ohh, oh, oh
I heard about your story from a friend
To let go and make an end
That's what you did
You left some words saying now it would be good
You knew they'd cry but you hoped they understood
Things you've had to face, what you have seen
To make it through each day you tried
Without the tears
They tried to help but they didn't see you crawl
They knew you fought but they never thought you'd fall
Never thought you'd fall
Tell them please, how could they know
Hurts inside, no scars to show
You played the lead and never once you failed
And the place from where you watch us now
Hope you've found your peace somehow
I heard about your story through the years
Know 'bout all your hurt and fears
I won't forget
I wrote a song that i wish for you to hear
It's about yourself and the life you couldn't bear
I wanna remember all there's about you
And I know there's so much
I see all the faces
The tears and embraces
You're everything in my luv story
I never wanna be without you
What you've done to me babe
I'll always be in love with u, forever
I know that I made mistakes
All the days that I got you down
You stayed right here with me
And I don't deserve you

Sometimes I'm happy, mostly I'm not,
I like to be alone a lot
And I don't know how I got this way,
Everything around me seems so crazy
My life is a rented hotel for the poor
The rooms are bare, and I'm afraid to close the door
But I keep the light on in the hall
And the perfume of the lover on my hands
And in a twinkling we will all be changed
And I'll wait for you, and I'll wait for you
In a twinkling we will all be changed
And I'll wait for you, I'll wait for you
'Cause they'll come barefoot, little angels,
Barefoot, little angels, and take us away from here
They'll come barefoot, little angels,
Barefoot, little angels, and take us away from here
(The scene is set and the light is on,
Set, and the light is on in the barefoot ballroom
The scene is set and the light is on,
Set, and the light is on in the barefoot ballroom)
Sometimes she comes at a quarter to two,
Wearing her love like a costume
She takes it off, she's barefoot,
Sometimes I remember this dance,
Mostly not
And in a twinkling we will all be changed
And I'll wait for you, and I'll wait for you
In a twinkling we will all be changed
And I'll wait for you, I'll wait for you
'Cause they'll come barefoot, little angels,
Barefoot, little angels, and take us away from here
They'll come barefoot, little angels,
Barefoot, little angels, and take us away from here
(The scene is set and the light is on,
Set, and the light is on in the barefoot ballroom
The scene is set and the light is on,
I saw you standin‘ on the street
Waitin‘ for me to be complete
That’s not reality, that‘s not true
I haven‘t ever had a chance to say I love you
My boy has never bought me anything
Just tell me what did he bring
No flower no power no lust no fun
I’m not satisfied with what he‘s done
No man it’s a kind of story
About the boys in my day
Sir give me a little glory
The resolution is stay away
I like the people who I’ve met
But I always have to prove that
I have no stress good dress no scare
And that I do well, while I’m there
Hey guys it’s kind of story
About how I feel at school
Mister give me a little glory
I’m swimming in an endless pool
Carefully listen as I pray
Comprehend my current situation
I’m wandering what you will say
To my exclamation short creation
Flowing from insecurity
My mood is time to time grey
Struggle in use lookin for my quality
I have to come into play
I can bet you will try to set a trap (on me)
No man it was a kind of story
Bout my life day by day
Those are just a little troubles, don’t worry
Best not to say more but anyway
Tell you a secret, tell you a story
About someone inside, I sit around
Get you some glory
And don't forget to tack on a lie
And all those things
You tried to make you feel alive
And if you can't tell
Why those things make you blind
That may be why the sun sets high
What do you want?
What do you need?
What do you get?
What do you see?
Tell me a secret, tell me a story
How about one, you can't hide behind
Pass it around, get me some glory
I won't forget to tack on a lie
And is it all those things that
We won't ever say
And is it all those things
We won't ever be
And is it all those things
We would pay not to see
What do you want?
What do you need?
What do you get?
What do you see?
It's all the same with different words
A simple name you knew you were
The story goes I'm hiding, you're hiding
I'm hiding away
I should have left it all alone
I should have left it all alone
What do you want?
What do you need?
I should have left it all alone
What do you get?
What do you see?
I should have left it all alone
What do you want?
What do you see?
I should have left it all alone
What do you get?
What do you need?

When two and two are five
You're gonna go to work like any other day
But things might be much different
Your God might be a vengeful one
Your desk might catch on fire
The church will hold a picnic,
and Jesus and Elvis will get in free
When two and two are five
They'll change the world, make the faithful pay
The trees of the field and maybe the lilies -
They will comfort you
But in the twinkling of an eye there will be nothing,
Two shakes of somebody's tail - no still small voice
Meanwhile I'm gonna sleep all day,
get half drunk each night
I'll be the nothing that is, I'll be the nothing that will be
I'm gonna sleep all day, get half drunk each night
I'll be the nothing that is, I'll be the nothing that will be
And in the darkest corners between conscience and faith
(Lord get my room ready, nothing is adding up)
We'll meet the terrible angel
Straddling our pitiful fathers
Meanwhile I'm gonna sleep all day,
get half drunk each night
I'll be the nothing that is, I'll be the nothing that will be
I'm gonna sleep all day, get half drunk each night
I'll be the nothing that is, I'll be the nothing that will be
