///// English Version: We could not believe how much of you have analyzed this video in the last view days. There was a lot of praise, but also a lot of critical voices making a particular sore point. In May of this year, we performed like this with more songs and WITHOUT a camera. We liked the massage of what we were doing so we decided to turn it into a video in order to encourage others to possibly do the same. Before filming we asked ourselves the following question: Can we simply film a person in distress and put it up on the internet, without asking them or knowing their history? Our answer is quite clearly no, which is why we have hired an actor to take on this role. Please look at our video statement (Statement & Hintergründe: Three German students surprise a homeless guy), where we explain our rationale in more detail. If we have hurt or disappointed anyone, we are very sorry. Of course that was not our intention. We are very serious about our non profit organisation and we have been collecting for some weeks now.

Things to do in Germany | Top Attractions Travel Guide Germany was a country we fell in love with. Having spent a lot of time in SE Asia, we felt the need for a change of pace and Germany was just that. From urban hubs like Berlin to hidden gems like Freiburg, Germany offers a lot for those willing to explore and dig a little deeper. We start off our top attractions travel guide to Germany by focusing on Berlin. Below are the top 25 things to consider doing in the city: 1) Berlin Wall - East Side Gallery 2) Brandenburg Gate 3) Tiergarten 4) MauerPark Flohmarkt (MauerPark Flea Market) 5) Friedrichshain 6) Currywurst 7) Reichstag building 8) Tempelhof 9) Museum Island 10) Holocaust Memorial 11) Charlottenburg Palace 12) Checkpoint Charlie 13) Alexanderplatz - Berlin TV Tower 14) Ritter Sport 15) Berlin Cathedral 16) Currywurst Museum 17) Ride a Bike 18) Spree river boat tour 19) Wurst sausage 20) Friedrichshain Flohmarkt (flea market) 21) German Breakfast 22) Cat Cafe 23) Schnitzel and Spaetzle 24) U-bahn and S-bahn 25) Turkish Food Recently we had the opportunity to visit Europa-Park, the largest theme park in Germany and second most popular theme resort in all of Europe. This was the perfect opportunity for us to rekindle our childhood passion for rides. With over eleven different roller coasters alone we quickly realized we had never been to such a big theme park. What we found cool was that the theme park was divided into different European countries. If you can't visit all of Europe going to Europa Park is like getting little slivers of it all. Accommodating up to 50,000 guests per day, we were fortunate we didn't come during peak season; however, it was still crowded. Overall, the weather was perfect, the rides were fun and it is an experience we won't forget anytime soon. This is a bit of a surprise. We have an eight hour wait for a flight in Frankfurt, so instead of just hanging around in the airport, which was our original plan, we decided to drop our bags off and come into the city. That pretty much wraps up our little visit to Frankfurt. We spent maybe three or four hours just walking around and it was really nice to just see the city without much of an agenda. I came here with quite low expectations to be perfectly honest. I had heard more or less this is just a financial hub but it ended up being quite charming here in Frankfurt and I'm definitely going to miss Germany. I've had a wonderful time traveling around the country. We aren't having much luck with the weather today. It is really rainy here in Freiburg. It is Easter weekend but we are out an exploring and we want to show you the city. Let's go have a tour. One of my first impressions of Freiburg is that it is such a great city to walk around in. That's all we've been doing so far. It's very picturesque. There are cobbled streets and it is also very historic. Thankfully, the weather has shifted dramatically for the better. Earlier we had been rained out, so we had to head back into the hotel because it was cold and windy. Now we're seeing a few patches of blue skies, so we're going to keep exploring around Freiburg. This is part of our Travel in Germany series. We're making a series of videos showcasing German culture, German arts, German foods, German religion and German people. http://bookinghunter.com Berlin is the capital city of Germany and one of the 16 states of Germany. Berlin is situated in northeastern Germany. The most important places to visit in Berlin are: Checkpoint Charlie (its name was given for the Berlin Wall crossing point between East and West Berlin during the Cold War), Berlin city hall (built in Italian Renaissance style, its construction lasted from 1861 to 1869. Along with the State Government of Berlin it is also the office of the city's Governing Mayor), The Potsdam Castle (located about 15 miles outside of Berlin, the castle is a gorgeous masterpiece nestled amidst vineyards. This lovely structure is so exquisite that it is often regarded as the German equivalent of The Palace of Versailles), Reichstag (the seat of German Parliament. Built in 1894, it housed the Parliament of the German Empire and the Weimar Republic. In 1933, a suspicious fire in the Reichstag propelled the Nazi regime to power), The Holocaust Memorial (is a tribute to the millions of Jews killed by the Nazi government. It consists of 2007 stone slabs spread over an area the size of three soccer fields), Museum Island (located in the center of Berlin on the river Spree, it has many world-renowned museums. Due to the art and history that is preserved here, the island is a UNESCO Heritage Site), Brandenburg gate (completed in 1791, this gate is a symbol of Germany. After World War II, the gate was one of the 8 checkpoints between East and West Berlin), Berlin Cathedral (centuries old, this historic landmark has been treasured by all of Germany. Several grand domes adorn the top of the cathedral. Its striking beauty makes the trip worthwhile), Charlottenburg Palace (Berlin's largest royal summer palace. Constructed in the late 17th century. this large, ornate landmark houses a 200-year-old mausoleum that served as a royal burial ground) and many more. This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Berlin travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available. Travel video about destination Berlin in Germany. Berlin is Germany's modern capital city, a fascinating European metropolis with a dramatic history in which contemporary architecture merges with the imposing character of a centuries-old city. The Nokolai Quarter was built by the DDR government as a sort of old town, a European Disneyland for the city's 750th anniversary, a popular area with 'new' medieval buildings that display various guilds and stone statues that surround the city's oldest church. We travel to nearby Potsdam, a city of castles and gardens and with an old town that features a lively market atmosphere. When the monarchy settled there, so did their armies and with them came craftsmen, merchants and artists from many countries. The castle-like Nauener Tor leads to the Russian colony of Alexandrowka and then to Belvedere on the Pfingstberg. Returning to Berlin we embark on a trip at the Eastern Train Station on the Panorama S-Bahn whose carriages are equipped with large panoramic windows and marvelous views turn the journey into a wonderful adventure. The Olympia Stadium is still a gigantic and remarkable sight and for the 11th Olympic Games in 1936, the Third Reich spared no expense. A new city has emerged from its historic past, Berlin, a young metropolis of the third millennium that is increasingly becoming the centre of Europe. This metropolis with a heart is always worth a visit!

Arriving at Frankfurt International Airport we faced a bit of dilemma. With close to eight hours to kill before our flight from Frankfurt to Brisbane via Abu Dhabi and Singapore, we had to decide between hanging out at the airport and getting online work done or going into the city to for some quick one day whirlwind tour of the city. It wasn't long before we made the decision to head into town. Frankfurt, known locally as Frankfurt am Main, is the business and financial centre of Germany; however, I hadn't heard of many people visiting this city as opposed to using it as a mere transportation hub to get to more popular tourists destinations such as Berlin, Heidelberg or Hamburg. With very few preconceived exceptions we immediately started to be won over by the charm of the city center as we ventured past the futuristic avant-garde skyscrapers to Römer square. We couldn't help but notice the contrast of wealthy businessmen scurrying about in relation to relaxed hipster hangouts along the River Main. Getting outside of the financial hub of the city allowed us to experience a quieter pace of life where many well maintained older buildings displaced futuristic modern ones. One of our favorite experiences was visiting many of the green escapes where the hustle and bustle gave way to ponds, nature trails and geese. Some of the top highlights of our afternoon stroll included visiting Römer square, various museums, the River Main, Römerberg, Alte Nikolaikirche, Saint Bartholomeus' Cathedral, Römerplatz and Hauptwache. Overall, it was the perfect way to spend the afternoon as opposed to being cooped up in the airport waiting hours on end for our flight. This is a bit of a surprise. We have an eight hour wait for a flight in Frankfurt, so instead of just hanging around in the airport, which was our original plan, we decided to drop our bags off and come into the city. World Travel https://www.youtube.com/user/World1Tube Bavaria Travel Guide http://bit.ly/122uYVH Shepherd Entertainment gives you the history of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which is a mountain resort town in Bavaria, Germany. Garmisch was a small alpine dwelling inhabited by shepherds but the neighboring, Partenkirchen already existed in Roman times and was called Parthenon. The residents of the two villages probably didn't like each other much. They even built their churches with their backs to each other lest they should meet by chance. All this changed in 1935 when the two villages were united in order to have better chances at the tender to organize the winter Olympics. This is when they built their ice skating stadium that was once the biggest in Europe. The three run ski jump stadium at the foot of the -- and the bobsled track surrounded by mountain lakes. The city is still developing and it's become one of the most well known vacation and ski resorts of Germany. However, it's not only a paradise for winter sports. One of Europe's biggest swimming complexes and the first wellness center Auschwitz was built in the 1970s. It has a water surface of 2000 square meters, a wave pool and an open beach. In summer, people can also swim in Riessersee, -- and Eibsee. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a real holiday resort with a well kept holiday park, theater, confectioneries and restaurants. Richard Strauss bought a villa here from the royalties who received for his opera Salome and lived here until his death. We can find villas similar to Strauss' in both parts of the city mixing with farm houses built in alpine style. There are some Franconia and Swabian, wooden beam structured houses called Fachberg houses but there are more Bavarian ones. The latter are shorter, stubbier. Earlier these frescoes also called luftmalerei used to portray religious scenes but today, they'd rather tell the story of the house itself or the family who owns the house. On the walls of hotels and shops, they're a form of advertisement. The wall of Garmisch's oldest in inn, the Huszar is decorated with the picture of a dragon looking out the window. The well kept gardens are full of flowers of an incredibly wide variety and naturally geraniums adorn all windowsills and railings. The new joint city hall was built in 1935 before the winter Olympics. The most remarkable event in the city surroundings is the passion play in Oberammergau. The inhabitants of the small mountain village have been performing the story of the passion of Christ every 10 years for 380 years now. Their ancestors took a vow to do this at the time of the great plague. The passion is performed for six month from morning until evening and is now a widely known event that draws hundreds of thousands of spectators. A real technical relic, one of the old locomotives of the Zugspitzbahn is exhibited in front of the --house. New motor engines have taken its place in transportation which may not be prettier but are certainly more modern. Every winter, skiers, snow boarders and extreme sports lovers invade the mountains around Garmisch. The lower station of the Zugspitzbahn is near the stadium. There're several ways to go up the mountain including the cograils, cable cars, funiculars and ski lifts. But we can only get near the 2966m high summit with the Zugspitzbahn. Experienced hikers and mountain climbers can also reach the summit on foot in nine hours. The first person to reach the Zugspitz in this way was a Bavarian soldier in 1920. The tracks wind between the houses on the western part of Garmisch then make their way up the steep hillside. Through the pine forests, we can see spectacular mountain lakes sparkling. The last stretch of the journey takes us through a long tunnel. Emerging from the tunnel, we are greeted by a beautiful small lake and after a couple of minutes, we reach the top station. On the summing, we'll find a ski lift and a resthouse with two coats of arms on its railings to show where Bavaria ends and where the Austrian province Tyrol begins. From the huge terrace, we can see the surrounding mountains of Vank, --. There's a small chapel on the snow speckled summit where victims of the mountains are commemorated. The restaurant of the rest house offers tourists, mountaineers and skiers real Bavarian specialties and hot drinks. For our way down, we can also choose the cable car, the Seilbahn that takes us to the small lake of Eibsee instead of Garmisch. Eibsee is a crystal clear emerald colored mountain lake. Campgrounds and hotels have been built here and many people come here in summer to swim and row boats. tips,Garmisch-Partenkirchen,Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, germany travel tips, shepherd entertainment,Garmish Partenkirchen in Bavaria Germany, shepherdfilm, world travel

Today the 1.3 kilometer long wall stands as a memorial to freedom and it is covered in art and graffiti. Right now we're visiting Brandenburg Gate. This gate dates back to the 18th Century. We're here at Tiergarten, one of the biggest parks in the city. MauerPark is a hipster hangout. Every Sunday people flock to this park and spend the day barbecuing, listening to music, enjoying a few beers, and simply having a good time. There's a popular flea market where you can pick up old vinyls and clothes, and if you head over to the Bear Pit you can catch some karaoke and musical performances. If you want to spot some cool street art, then head over to Friedrichshain. You can't come to Berlin and not eat a Currywurst! This is the city's most popular fast food snack. The sausage is served with a ketchup and curry powder concoction. Up next we're at the Reichstag building which has a pretty cool glass dome on top. This dome is actually open to visitors and it offers 360 degree views of the city. Today we're visiting Tempelhof, a re-purposed airport here in Berlin for leisure activities and sports. If you enjoy museums and art galleries you'll want to visit Berlin's Museum Island. They actually have five different museums here and if you get a daily pass for 18 Euros you get access to all five. We are now visiting the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. It is also known as the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Charlottenburg Palace is the largest palace in Berlin and the only surviving royal residence in the city. Checkpoint Charlie was one of the crossing points between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War. Located near Alexanderplatz, The Berlin TV Tower offers a great lookout over the city. Chocolate! Ritter Sport is a chocolate brand that is sold all over Germany, and while in Berlin we couldn't resist sampling a few of the different varieties. Berlin Cathedral is located on Museum Island and it's one of the most beautiful churches in the city. If Currywurst is to your liking, you'll want to check out this quirky museum devoted to Berlin's favorite sausage. Renting a bike is a great way to get around the city. Most places will rent out bikes at 10 Euros per day. For a leisurely afternoon, hop on a boat and enjoy a tour down the River Spree. Of course, you cannot come to Berlin and not eat a Wurst or a sausage. The Friedrichshain flea market takes place every Sunday and it's a great place for people watching and a little browsing. The Germans sure know how to enjoy a hearty breakfast, and we recommend you try it too. Breakfast usually offers a wide sampling of loafs and bread rolls, accompanied with various deli cuts and cheese. We couldn't resist visiting yet another cat cafe while we were in Berlin. While in Berlin we enjoyed a hearty meal of Schnitzel. This thin strip of meat is coated in flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs, before being deep-fried. You can order it with a side of mashed potatoes or German noodles known as Spaetzle. It's quite easy to get around Berlin using the U-bahn and S-bahn system. In Berlin, there is a big Turkish population and that means there is awesome Turkish street food. And that's Berlin for you! A city that has risen from the ashes of the war, which is now bursting with art, music, and life. Have you been to Berlin? We'd love to hear your favourite things about the city in the comments below. For more travel and food videos, hit subscribe! This is part of our Travel in Germany series. So when are their American counterparts going to get (ahem) on the stick? Hayden and Nicole is the showmance that actually seems like it’s going somewhere romantically, but they seem too innocent to actually do anything raunchy while in the house. And everyone is hoping that Zach takes things to the next level with Frankie, even though the two say they’re just friends. The Examiner 2015-03-24Germany (i/ˈdʒɜrməni/), officially the Federal Republic of Germany (German: Bundesrepublik Deutschland, pronounced [ˈbʊndəsʁepuˌbliːk ˈdɔʏtʃlant] ( listen)), is a federal parliamentary republic in Europe. The country consists of 16 states while the capital and largest city is Berlin. Germany covers an area of 357,021 km2 and has a largely temperate seasonal climate. With 81.8 million inhabitants, it is the most populous member state and the largest economy in the European Union. It is one of the major political powers of the European continent and a technological leader in many fields.
A region named Germania, inhabited by several Germanic peoples, was documented before AD 100. During the Migration Period, the Germanic tribes expanded southward, and established successor kingdoms throughout much of Europe. Beginning in the 10th century, German territories formed a central part of the Holy Roman Empire. During the 16th century, northern German regions became the centre of the Protestant Reformation while southern and western parts remained dominated by Roman Catholic denominations, with the two factions clashing in the Thirty Years' War, marking the beginning of the Catholic–Protestant divide that has characterized German society ever since. Occupied during the Napoleonic Wars, the rise of Pan-Germanism inside the German Confederation resulted in the unification of most of the German states into the German Empire in 1871 which was Prussian dominated. After the German Revolution of 1918–1919 and the subsequent military surrender in World War I, the Empire was replaced by the Weimar Republic in 1918, and partitioned in the Treaty of Versailles. Amidst the Great Depression, the Third Reich was proclaimed in 1933. The latter period was marked by Fascism and World War II. After 1945, Germany was divided by allied occupation, and evolved into two states, East Germany and West Germany. In 1990 Germany was reunified.
Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter and occasional actress. Clarkson came into prominence after becoming the winner of the inaugural season of the television series American Idol in 2002 and later was the runner-up in the television special World Idol in 2003.
In 2003, Clarkson released her debut album, Thankful, which was a commercial success and established herself in the pop music industry. The release of its first single, "A Moment Like This" (2002), broke The Beatles' record for the biggest leap to number one, from 52, in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. After parting ways with her management, Clarkson developed a more rock-oriented music with the release of her critically acclaimed sophomore album, Breakaway (2004), which sold more than 12 million copies worldwide and which garnered Clarkson more worldwide success as a pop rock artist. The album's single, "Because of You" (2005), became the best-selling single by an Idol contestant worldwide. In 2007, Clarkson took full creative control for her third album My December, which had a more rock-inspired sound and was met with controversy and moderate success. Clarkson later returned to a more pop-oriented sound with All I Ever Wanted (2009), which became a commercial and critical success. The album's lead single, "My Life Would Suck Without You" (2009), surpassed "A Moment Like This"'s record for the biggest leap to number one on a single week in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, a milestone it still holds today. Furthermore, it also became her first number one single in the United Kingdom. Clarkson's fifth studio album, Stronger, was released in 2011, containing elements from synthpop, R&B and country music. The album's single, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" (2012), became her longest number one single and eventually became her best-selling single in the United States.
