Known as The Belgrade Sea, Ada Ciganlija is the largest public area for sports, recreation and entertainment. Many facilities are free (including swimming area) but you can also pay for more advanced (private) ones like bungee jumping crane, aqua ski, golf course, tennis, adventure park, ski simulator, etc. There is also a bike path and you can rent a bike in several locations. It is also known for its multitude of cafes and many (small) restaurants and recently by the new Ada Bridge. You can also use boat taxis to get to/from Novi Beograd side and if you look really closely, you may even find a small.. animal farm. Ada Ciganlija has hosted many of international championships (mostly rowing). Official website: http://www.adaciganlija.rs (serbian only). During the high season (in the summer), more than 300.000 people come to Ada on weekends. Which makes riding a bike impossible.
