Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah (born August 14, 1981), is a Ghanaian American professional wrestler signed to WWE and appearing on its Raw brand under the ring name, Kofi Kingston. He and R-Truth are the current WWE Tag Team Champions. Since debuting with WWE, he has won the Intercontinental Championship three times, the United States Championship twice, the World Tag Team Championship once with CM Punk and the WWE Tag Team Championship twice, once with Evan Bourne and once with R-Truth.
He made his official wrestling debut in 2006, when he faced Tony Omega at Chaotic Wrestling on February 24th. He faced Evan Siks on June 4 for the PWF Mayhem Heavyweight Championship. He competed primarily in the New England area, including stints in National Wrestling Alliance – New England, Millennium Wrestling Federation, New England Championship Wrestling, the Eastern Wrestling Alliance, and Chaotic Wrestling.
In September 2006, he signed a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to Deep South Wrestling (DSW), a Georgia based developmental federation. He debuted in the new company, as Kofi Nahaje Kingston, in a dark match loss to Montel Vontavious Porter on September 21. For the rest of 2006 and the beginning of 2007, he appeared in DSW, as well as its Kentucky based sister promotion Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he was in a tag team dubbed the "Commonwealth Connection" with Harry Smith. In 2007, under the ring name "Kofi Nahaje Kingson", he had his first exposure to the main WWE roster, when he worked dark matches on March 5 and 26 before episodes of Raw against Charlie Haas and Trevor Murdoch, respectively. When he returned to the developmental federations, he shortened his original ring name to "Kofi Kingston" and continued to use both ring names throughout his duration there. He also worked live events, defeating Shelton Benjamin on May 5, and Val Venis on May 6.
Jejomar "Jojo" Cabauatan Binay, Sr. (born November 11, 1942), also known as Jojo Binay or VPNay, is a Filipino politician who has been the 15th Vice President of the Philippines since 2010. He is the first Black Filipino to hold the office. Previously, he was Mayor of Makati City from 1986 to 1998 and again from 2001 to 2010. He is also the President of the United Opposition (UNO), President of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), Chairman of Asia-Pacific Region Scout Committee, and the President of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
Binay studied at the Philippine Normal College Training Department, University of the Philippines Preparatory High School, and earned a bachelor's degree in political science and Bachelor of Laws from UP (LIB). Binay joined the youth fraternal organization Order of DeMolay, Loyalty Chapter, Manila, Philippines under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines, sponsored by Free and Accepted Masons. Mayor Binay received a DeMolay Leadership award on March 16, 1996 from the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay for outstanding leadership and DeMolay Legion of Honor given by the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay on July 13, 1996. In his collegiate stint, he also joined Alpha Phi Omega fraternity in the University of the Philippines (Eta Chapter). He passed the bar exam in 1968, and took masteral subjects in public administration and law in UP and University of Santo Tomas, respectively.
DJ Tarkan (Turkish: Tarkan Örs) was born in Frankfurt, Germany. He is Turkey's No.1 DJ, charted number 78 in the world by DJ Magazine's most important poll for dance music in 2006.
Since his early childhood in Frankfurt, LPs and singles have been his favorite toys. His family's interest in music has played an important role in the growth of his love for music. In 1985, his family decided to move to Istanbul, where Tarkan continued playing his vinyls and recording tapes after coming home from school.
His professional music career started after he finished university and became a resident at Power FM. Right after showing up in the music scene as a radio DJ, he started to perform at the biggest clubs in Istanbul. Running fast in his music career, Tarkan had to take a short break to complete his military service from April to November 1997.
Upon his return to Istanbul, he took scene at “Radio 2019” as a DJ and Production Manager, and at the same time, he was performing at different clubs in Istanbul. After the radio station was sold to a TV channel and changed its genre, DJ Tarkan continued playing his radio sets at FG till May 2007. His reputation in Turkey was spreading and the number of people appreciating his sound - increasing with every event. The big break came in 2002 with the DJ of the Year award.
