Radar is an object-detection system which uses radio waves to determine the range, altitude, direction, or speed of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft, guided missiles, motor vehicles, weather formations, and terrain. The radar dish or antenna transmits pulses of radio waves or microwaves which bounce off any object in their path. The object returns a tiny part of the wave's energy to a dish or antenna which is usually located at the same site as the transmitter.
Radar was secretly developed by several nations before and during World War II. The term RADAR was coined in 1941 by the United States Navy as an acronym for RAdio Detection And Ranging. The term radar has since entered English and other languages as the common noun radar, losing all capitalization.
The modern uses of radar are highly diverse, including air traffic control, radar astronomy, air-defense systems, antimissile systems; marine radars to locate landmarks and other ships; aircraft anticollision systems; ocean surveillance systems, outer space surveillance and rendezvous systems; meteorological precipitation monitoring; altimetry and flight control systems; guided missile target locating systems; and ground-penetrating radar for geological observations. High tech radar systems are associated with digital signal processing and are capable of extracting objects from very high noise levels.

A way at the races
my little fighter
it only makes it brighter
when you paint your windows green
my little fighter
it only makes you lighter
when what you say is what you mean
my lost sailor
did i ever tell you
it hurt to see your swollen eyes
my lost sailor
did he ever tell you
that when he goes to sleep he flies
oh my lover
when you run for cover
just walk away and dont look back
oh my lover
when you know its over
just walk away and dont look back
standing by the phone
wishing you'd come home
well im saying i'll be fine
while your kissing me goodbye
but you dont think its good enough
and i dont really want to waste that stuff
cause i want you to know
that when im down and im feeling so low
she's a bomb
holding on my heart
but you're tearing it apart
but you dont think its good enough
and i dont really want to waste that stuff
cause i want you to know
that when im down and im feeling so low
Confidence is a must
Happiness is a plus
Edginess is a rush
Edges I like them rough
A man with a midas touch
Intoxicate me, I'm a rush
Stop, you're making me blush
People are looking at us
I don't think you know, know
I'm checking you so hot, so hot
Wonder if he knows, he's on my radar
On my radar, on my radar, on my radar
And if I notice you, I know it's you
Choosing, don't wanna losing you
On my radar, on my radar
On my radar, on my radar
And when you walk
(When you walk)
And when you talk
(When you talk)
I get the tingle
I wanna mingle
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
And listen baby, turn up the fader
Trying to make you understand
You're on my radar, on my radar
On my radar, on my radar, on my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
Interesting sense of style
Ten million dollar smile
Think I can handle that
Animal in the sack
His eyes see right to my soul
I saw and lose self-control
Catch me looking again
Falling right into my plan
I don't think you know, know
I'm checking you, so hot, so hot
Wonder if he knows, he's on my radar
On my radar, on my radar, on my radar
And if I notice you, I know it's you
Choosing, don't wanna losing you
On my radar, on my radar
On my radar, on my radar
When you walk
(When you walk)
And when you talk
(When you talk)
I get the tingle
I wanna mingle
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
And listen baby turn up the fader
Trying to make you understand
You're on my radar, on my radar
On my radar, on my radar
On my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
On my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
I got my eye on you
And I can't let you get away
Hey baby, whether it's now or later
I've got you
You can't shake me
'Cause I got you on my radar
Whether you like it or not, it ain't gonna stop
'Cause I got you on my radar
(I got you)
'Cause I got you on my radar
I'm checking you, so hot, so hot
Wonder if he knows, he's on my radar
On my radar, on my radar, on my radar
And if I notice you, I know it's you
Choosing, don't wanna losing you
On my radar, on my radar

On my radar, on my radar
On my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
On my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
Got you on my radar
On the radar
We can see the colors
But you'll never know
If i can ever see you again.
On the radar
We can tell the future but you'll never know
If i can ever see you again.
Our worlds are black and white to you
You see our lives as gray and blue.
But i know
Nights can change if i say different.
But i could never see you again.
The rain is coming down
So why don't we go?
The sky is screaming out
So why don't we go?
On the radar
You can see the pattern that will never show
If i can ever see you again.
On the radar we can live forever but we'll never know
If i can ever see you again.
Everywhere
(Sandman)
Got to the driver of my car
Past the dogs past the guards
And all of my alarms supposed to be so state of the art
You penetrate my radar (x2)
You drop a bomb in my backyard
You penetrate my radar
You played me like a chess game
And now you say checkmate
While you go running freely spending money every place
And me I have to hide and I don't dare show my face
If I am guilty so are you it was March 4th 1982
Riding around forever on an empty tank of gas
And an empty pocketbook I better get it to the bank
High up in a glider high up here without a care
I got all the time in the world
Magnolia, Magnolia,
I guess I never told you
You're smiling
I've been steady pulling for you
To make amends
With all the friends who told you
That selling out was wrong
Roberta, Roberta,
I didn't mean to hurt you
You're easy
If need be I'll send someone a-searching
Nevermind your heart
Nevermind your soul
You're a rainbow
The spaceman, spaceman
Spends his time a-racing
Chasing stardust
A million miles away
And when his air runs out
He'll have turn around
He'll fall all the way down
To the ground
You can leave me
In orbit
Til I'm nothing more than
The one the radar's lost
The one the radar's lost
The one the radar's lost
On the ground
Together, together
We're so very clever
Flip nickels, the weather
It rains in the fountain
I guess you never knew
There's someone like you
Around every single corner
And I'm so fucking bored
You can leave me in orbit
Til I'm nothing more than
The one the radar's lost
The one the radar's lost
The one the radar's lost
On the ground
Goodbye now, goodbye now
Go ahead and close your eyes now
You're frozen from skating too far out on the ice
When someone pushed you down
There was no one else around
No one to pick you up
From icy waters
Please bring me down
Please bring me down
Hey mirror mirror
On the wall
Who is the greatest motherf*
Of them all?
Better yet, no you don't gotta answer that
Cause i know just who that is
Oh yes, that's me
Yeah yeah that's me
And I'm a record breaker cause I put in the time
Oh, I ain't got to fight for it cause it's already mine
cause I've been around
I'm an amazing, courageous, fantastic, awesome guy
You know you can't keep me in your eyesight
Just for a moment you can call it a night
You're not in my radar
You're not in my radar
You're not even in my radar
I'm in my all black suit
Feeling like the James Bond
(I got so many chicks, they get my swagger, they want me to get with them yeah)
When I make my fingers go
You better know that means that I
That means that when you step up in this Porsche Carrera, better not touch anything, because
And I'm a record breaker cause I put in the time
On the test drive, come take a ride
And if I was that type of guy
I would correct this girl was mine
Yeah, I put it down
I'm an amazing, courageous, fantastic, awesome guy
And if you can keep me in your eyesight
Just for the moment
We can call it a night
You might be in my radar
You could get up in my radar
See you trying to get in my radar
Yeah
I'm usually not on this family tale tip
But I got to say
Imagine the city under the stars
I can tell you want me
So I might save you for the night
I'm an amazing, courageous, fantastic, awesome guy
And if you can keep me in your eyesight
Just for the moment
We can call it a night
You might be in my radar
You could get up in my radar
You might be in my radar
standing by the phone
wishing you'd come home
well im saying i'll be fine
while your kissing me goodbye
but you dont think its good enough
and i dont really want to waste that stuff
cause i want you to know
that when im down and im feeling so low
she's a bomb
holding on my heart
but you're tearing it apart
but you dont think its good enough
and i dont really want to waste that stuff
cause i want you to know
that when im down and im feeling so low
she's a bomb
On a day like today
When I do everything I always say I won't
Just when things were riding fine
I lose sight of the line
Between do and don't
If I'm gonna make a mistake
It's gonna be big
Why sip it if I can drink it down
Why hold it if I can pass it around
And around
And around
On a day like today
When I can find the faith or will to pray
I can match the sky grey for grey
If you can't get me high
Best get out of my way
If I'm gonna make a mistake
It's gonna be big
Why sip it if I can drink it down
Why hold it if I can pass it around
And around
And around
I can't trust myself anymore
I can't trust the light
I left on in the bathroom
To help me find my way at night
So I use my hand
I grope at the wall
If I can't trust myself
Then I can't trust anyone at all
On a day life today
When I do everything I always say I won't
It seems I do this every time
I disregard the line between do and don't
If I'm gonna make a mistake
It's gonna be big
Why sip it if I can drink it down
Why hold it if I can pass it around
And around
A teardrop fell from the right eye.
And clever words have left me be.
You see everything you want to.
But baby you don't see me.
And hallelujah,
for slicing through the chains we made.
And if you need someone to hold you
And if you need someone to walk you
And if you need someone to talk to,
Did you think I'd still be there?
Your love is like a distant lighthouse,
Spreading light across the see
Every ship is on your radar,
But somehow you don't see me
And hallelujah,
this love is like a razor blade.
And hallelujah,
for slicing through the chains we made.
And if you need someone to hold you
And if you need someone to walk you
And if you need someone to talk to,
Did you think I'd really care?
A teardrop fell from the right eye.
[Instrumental]
Well here she comes again
She's a-lookin' for me
Better make my move
Better head out to the high seas
If she get's me in her sights
I'll be workin' all day
No time to take a snooze
Or watch the football game
She got the radar workin'
Workin' overtime
She got the radar workin'
Torpedoes at 12 o'clock high
Well I can't go to Vegas
And I can't go to town
But could I maybe go to Freddie's
You know to lay down
But, it's a-maybe do this
And it's a-maybe do that
Uh by time I get to doin'
You know she's breakin' my back
She go the radar workin'
Workin' overtime
She got the radar workin'
Topedoes at 12 o'clock high
I'm just mindin' my own business
Don't mean nobody no harm
Ah but here she comes again now
Ta-twista-twisin' my arm
Oh Oh there's a chickenmunk
She got the radar workin'
Workin' overtime
She got the radar workin'
Step into heavy water, rose up to your knees
Spit shined shoes, john phillip sousa, and domestic oil pcbs
He's counting bank days telling her," everything will work out right..."
Watching distant early warning lights fan out across the sky
He hitch hikes back from out west, two time zones away
He's dreaming of a week with her hold up and gets sent back the second day
Everything will work out right
She sits on her steps in a black evening dress and painted eyes
The street lights on and her father groans, "she's been waiting out there
Since five!"
Watching the ukrainian men and night shift on the street
Standing in the shadow of the old ways where the future used to be
