Stuart Hiller: Can you fix it?::Morgan Hiller: Yeah, as soon as I learn how to walk on water, I'll get right on it, Dad.
Nick Hauser: I should just ice your ass right now.::Morgan Hiller: Yeah?::Nick Hauser: Yeah.::Morgan Hiller: Why? Because I danced with one of your boyfriends?
Ronnie: I don't know. If you ask me, he's either the toughest guy at Lawson or the stupidest.::Feather: No way. He went to one of those brain factories back east, and I mean the guy's head is totally crammed.::Frankie Croyden: Yeah, with bullshit!
Jimmy Parker: She belongs to Nick.::Morgan Hiller: C'mon Jimmy, Lincoln freed the slaves. All I want to do is talk to her.::Jimmy Parker: All I want to do is live!

Stuart Hiller: Go easy on him tonight, Page. This means a lot to him.::Page Hiller: Mm-hmm. So did that girl he brought home for Easter last year. Remember? She was so stoned, all she could do was look at the peas and say, 'Wow, they're so green!'

[Bernard and Penny are dancing at the party]::Bernard Hedges: I still can't understand why Mr Dunstable changed his mind so quickly!::Penny Wheeler: Well, a little bird told me Potter found out he couldn't write.::Bernard Hedges: It's almost as if he had an actual aversion to writing!::[Bernard stops dancing as he realises what Penny has just said]::Bernard Hedges: Ah!
[Bernard has barged into the meeting about the school camp]::Doris Ewell: The party will consist of thirty-five children.::Bernard Hedges: Didn't you leave out the word *privileged*, Miss Ewell?::Norman Potter: Aye aye, would you burst into the United Nations like that?

There's a hometown girl who wears my ring
Her name is painted on my starboard wing
Tonight I'm half a world from everything
And everyone that I love.
I wonder how the... did tonight
I sure hope grandma is doind alright
I wish I knew what moma is cooking for soupper
I pray jane has got my letter know how much I love her
Chorus
Lord knows I got a job to do
I can't wait 'til it's through
I keep dreamin' bout that homebound flight
Looking for those runway lights
Grandpa did his part...
Daddy did his time in vietnam
Now I am flying over see and sand
... sky... feels up to me
I'll be touching down on tenesse
My baby is... with tears in her eyes

Looking for those runway lights
Looking for those runway lights
Fly above the hills and valleys
High above the streets and alleys
On a home bound flight I carry
Love enough for one
My emotions overflowing
Anticipation growing
And the moment still not knowing
Seems to weigh a ton
*And those scenarios
They spin in my mind
They drift, like the clouds
They sail through the night*
**And when I see those runway lights
In the town that I was born
I say a silent prayer you€™ll still be there
And as my plane is touching down
Will I still belong in the arms that held my life
Or have I stayed away to long**
I see your face in midnight driftings
By my side I hear your heartbeat
Closer still I hold your memory
Precious in my mind
In the life that I€™ve been chasing
So much times been wasted
I know I could be tasting
The love I left behind
( * Repeat )
( ** Repeat )
And those scenarios
They spin in my mind.....
