One can even see Meruruka himself in the complicated mastaba, which has more than 30 rooms, as his life size statue steps out of a door. There were several claims which stated that grave robbers instantly fled as they saw the statue in the dim light. Almost square meter of the walls is covered by engraving, pictures or hieroglyphs, which introduce viewers to life in ancient times, hunting, fishing, agriculture and animal husbandry. In other pictures, one can see the scenes of raising a child, celebrations, and potters at work.
