Baba Dhansar Near Vaishno Devi

The holy place of Baba Dhansar is located at Karua Jheel (Pond) near Katra. It is a beautiful place and a must visit for people who visit Vaishno Devi. It is hardly 12-13 km from Katra. Here, a huge spring gushes out of the mountain side in a thick grove of trees and forms a number of small cascading water-falls before ultimately flowing into the Holy rivulet that merges with the Chenab River. Next to the spring in a small grove in the rock face is a naturally formed Shivling on which droplets of water fall at a constant pace all the year round. A big fair is held here during Shivratri.

The moment a bus falls into sinkhole then gets washed away by a river Passengers were led from the vehicle with seconds to spare before it fell into the massive crater in northern Brazil This is the incredible moment bus passengers cheated death as their vehicle was swallowed by a giant crater and spat out into a raging river. The passengers were led off the bus in the nick of time as the ground collapsed beneath their transport. One woman was filmed being helped from the sinking vehicle with a baby in her arms seconds before it plunged into the river on Monday. The vehicle was carried underneath what was left of the road by the rushing water just moments after the last of the passengers managed to make it to safety. The drama happened on the Trans-Amazonian highway in northern Brazil - which is currently being battered by some of the worst floods in the country's history. Travel on the non-paved stretches of the road is notoriously difficult during the region’s rainy season between October and March and cars often get stuck in the poorly-constructed highways. The stretch of the road where the minibus was carried away is between the cities of Itaituba and Ruropolis in the state of Para. The Brazilian government declared a state of emergency in the area earlier this month and firefighters have been called out to rescue dozens of poisonous snakes which have entered peoples’ homes to escape the rising water levels.
