Putin was speaking alongside Nguyen Phu Trong, the General Secretary of the Vietnamese Communist Party Central Committee, following their meeting. Negotiations between the four states regarding the creation of a mutual free trade zone is said to have entered the final stages, with Trong saying Tuesday that it should be ready by the start of 2015.
