English Football Hooligans - Brentford v Leyton Orient (May 2010) Brentford were home to Hartlepool United while Leyton Orient were playing away to Colchester United before the brawl on the evening of May 8. Brentford fans had gathered at the Railway Tavern outside Liverpool Street Station while their rivals were drinking at the Dirty Dick's pub around the corner. One Orient fan was chased by the Brentford mob who saw him near their pub and was left with a bloodied face, but he returned with reinforcements. The fight was caught on CCTV and at least 19 hooligans aged from 17 to 40 were identified. Brentford fan Joel Titus, 19, of Pinner, was also given a football banning order for seven years. Fellow Brentford fan Dean Wells, 26, of Isleworth, was jailed for 12 months and banned for a further seven years. David Mitchell, 20, of Littlehampton, was jailed for seven months and banned for six years while Steven Donovan, 20, of Hayes was given a six-month sentence suspended for two years and banned for three years. Orient fan Andrew Hudson, 26, was jailed for eight months and banned for six years, and Thomas Armstrong, 24, was given a six-month suspended sentence and banned for four years. ----- I do not condone football related violence and condemn those who take part in it.
