The Exodus (Greek ἔξοδος, exodos "way out", Hebrew: יציאת מצרים, Modern Yetsi'at Mitzrayim Tiberian [jəsʕijaθ misʕɾajim] Y'ṣiʾath Miṣrayim ; "[the] exit [from] Egypt") is the story of the departure of the Israelites from ancient Egypt described in the Hebrew Bible.
Narrowly defined, the term refers only to the departure from Egypt described in the Book of Exodus; more widely, it takes in the subsequent law-givings and wanderings in the wilderness between Egypt and Canaan described in the books of Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
See Exodus 13 and following chapters
The Book of Exodus tells how Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt and through the wilderness to Mount Sinai, where God reveals himself and offers them a Covenant: they are to keep his torah (i.e. law, instruction), and in return he will be their god and give them the land of Canaan. The Book of Leviticus records the laws of God. The Book of Numbers tells how the Israelites, led now by their God, journey onwards from Sinai towards Canaan, but when their spies report that the land is filled with giants they refuse to go on. God then condemns them to remain in the desert until the generation that left Egypt passes away. After thirty-eight years at the oasis of Kadesh Barnea the next generation travel on to the borders of Canaan. The Book of Deuteronomy tells how, within sight of the Promised Land, Moses recalls their journeys and gives them new laws. His death (the last reported event of the Torah) concludes the 40 years of the exodus from Egypt.
Salt the Wound is an American deathcore band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 2001. The band is currently signed to Rotten Records and have released three full-length studio albums. After the release of their debut album, Carnal Repercussions the band would continuously tour to an overwhelming extent, which led to their disbandment during the first half of 2010. With later negotiations, the group reformed in 2011 with original as well as new members releasing their next full-length studio album Kill the Crown.
Salt the Wound was founded on September 11, 2001 as a duo by their original drummer Jim Agrippe, and original guitar player Mike Kawkabany. The group continued on as duo until 2003, where additional members joined and assumed the requirements of a full band. Vocalist Kevin Schafer was welcomed during this year, which then shortly led to these three recruiting Abe Zieleniec as the band's bassist and Jake Scott as another guitar player.
The band released two EPs in 2004 and 2005 respectively, but didn't record and release their demo that had them searching for a label until 2007, which led to Salt the Wound being signed to Rotten Records. Salt the Wound achieved underground success in 2008 through their debut studio album, Carnal Repercussions which attracted radio airplay as well as touring requests. By 2009, the album collectively sold 75,000 copies worldwide.[citation needed] By mid of 2009, the group finished recording their second full-length album, entitled Ares, which was released September 15, 2009 and features Matthew Wessoly, their final vocalist incepted into the band before their disbandment.

They appeared in 4 musical films: Janie (1944), Kansas City Kitty (1944), Something in the Wind (1947) and Ladies' Man (1947). This led to a nightclub act with entertainer Kay Thompson from 1947 to 1951.
One by one, the guests arrive
The guests are coming through
The open-hearted many
The broken-hearted few
And no one knows where the night is going
And no one knows why the wine is flowing
Oh love, I need you, I need you, I need you
I need you, oh, I need you now
And those who dance, begin to dance
Those who weep begin
And "Welcome, welcome" cries a voice
"Let all my guests come in"
And no one knows where the night is going
And all go stumbling through that house
In lonely secrecy, saying, "Do reveal yourself
Or why has thou forsaken me?"
And no one knows where the night is going
All at once the torches flare, the inner door
Flies open, one by one they enter there
In every style of passion
And no one knows where the night is going
And here they take their sweet repast while house
And grounds dissolve and one by one
The guests are cast beyond the garden wall
And no one knows where the night is going
Those who dance, begin to dance
Those who weep begin
Those who earnestly are lost
Are lost and lost again
And no one knows where the night is going
One by the guests arrive
The guests are coming through
The broken-hearted many
The open-hearted few
One by one the guests arrive

Living silence, hidden deep
Clouded vision, nothing seen
Arise above normality
Open your eyes so I can see
Can't you hear the scream in me?
I'm dying for the chance to be
No chance for reality
To live and reign inside of me
Screams of pain
Wake of death
Relentless reign
A precedent
The wake of severity is pushing through
A kick in the face is overdue
Knowing what you believe is right
Blind to everything in sight
Living terror
From within
The wake of severity will now
Begin
I had a vision of non-existence
To pass away, ceased to exist
Depart this life, become no more
Become extinct just like before No
The wake you can't evade
Time's path is laid
Drowning in our fate
A droplet of existence
I a wave of ignorance
On the path of resistance
Only to prove our persistence
The wake of severity is pushing through
A kick in the face is overdue
Screams of pain
