Thundarr the Barbarian is a 30-minute Saturday morning animated series, created by Steve Gerber and produced by Ruby-Spears Productions. The series ran two seasons, 1980–81 and 1981–82. Action figures of the three main characters were released by Toynami in 2004.
Twenty-one half-hour episodes were produced by Ruby-Spears Productions, an animation house formed by former Hanna-Barbera head writers Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, from October 1980 to September 1982, when the show went off the air. The show ran on the ABC network. Reruns of the program appeared on NBC's Saturday morning lineup in 1983.
Thundarr the Barbarian is set in a future (3994 AD) post-apocalyptic wasteland divided into kingdoms or territories — the majority of which are ruled by wizards – and whose ruins typically feature recognizable geographical features from the United States, starting in New York City and working itself to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Mount Rushmore, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.. Other episodes with recognizable settings are located in Mexico, while one is in London. Another notable feature of this future Earth is that the Moon was broken in two pieces. The shattered moon and the ruins of the former human civilization were caused by the passage of a runaway planet between the Earth and the Moon in 1994, which, from scenes shown in the opening sequence, caused radical changes in the Earth's climate and geography. However, by the time period in which the series is set, the Earth and Moon seem to have settled into a new balance. Earth is reborn in a world of "savagery, super-science, and sorcery".

The Chinese family name Mo (莫) is pronounced in Mandarin as "Mò" (4th tone), in Cantonese as "Mok6" (6th tone), in Hmong as "Moua", "Mua", or "Muas" and in Vietnamese as "Mạc". The surname is often romanized as Mok where Cantonese speakers are prominent. According to a study of Mu Ying's Name record, the surname came to be when descendants of the antediluvian ruler Zhuanxu abbreviated the name of his city, Moyangcheng (莫陽城; in modern-day Pingxiang County, Hebei) and took it as their surname.
As Chinese family names go, Mo is relatively rare, ranked 168th in the Hundred Family Surnames. In 2004, there were an estimated 73,000 people with the surname of Mo abroad and 1,540,000 Mo's in China.
When not used as a surname, 'Mo' (莫) means 'do not'.

Tarkan Karaalioğlu (born 21 September 1976), better known as MOK, is a German rapper of Turkish descent. His name "MOK" means "Muzik oder Knast" ("Muzic or jail"). It was awarded to him by Berlin hip hopper Maxim. He is a member of rap crew Die Sekte. He got his own label at Sony BMG called Yo!Musix.
MOK is well known for his controversies with other German rappers, including Bushido, Kool Savas, and Farid Bang. During his career he released many diss tracks, but they did not receive much attention, so the others did not respond.
He was born in Berlin-Neukölln. MOK later joined the crew NHS. In 1994 he met the group Berlin Crime and he became a member of the crew. 1995 he left the crew and started again with graffiti.
His first rap tries were with ASEK of Kaosloge. At that time he met Mach One of Bassboxxx. MOK, Mach One and Tony D decide to record a track together and they formed the group "Die Echten".
On 12 September 2002, while recording his first album Neuköln Hustler, MOK was arrested by the Berlin police for gang activities and carrying a gun. Three months later he was transferred to Bavaria, where he waited eighteen months for his trial. He was sentenced to five years and six months. He was first held in the JVA Tegel in Berlin, but with the help of Aggro Berlin he was transferred to the open prison in Berlin-Plötzensee.
To my slimy mudhole welcome
My home this is inside a tree
Off you must take those wet clothes
Can I get you some hot tea?
You are looking so good, baby
I was thinking we should maybe
Let the Force flow, let feelings grow
As each other we get to know
On will I put some Barry White
Down low will I turn the lights
Need they will a six-part saga
To chronicle the love we make tonight
Mmm! Oooh! Oh Master Yoda!
Mmm! Oooh! Go, Master Yoda!
Heh heh heh heh heh!
Feel you will the Force inside you
Do me, there is no try
The Force will make it grow, so
Judge me not by my size!
Adventure? Hah! Excitement? Heh.
A Jedi craves not these things.
What a Jedi craves is more depraved
Than Jabba's Hut on Tatooine.
In herre it's getting hot
So off take all your clothes
Look this hot you will not
If reach you nine hundred years old.
Mmm! Oooh! Oh Master Yoda!
Mmm! Oooh! Go, Master Yoda!
Heh heh heh heh heh!
Closer to God you get me
Your backdoor man I want to be
That to me do one time more
On me some sugar pour.
Up that thing back
Like a brick house are you stacked
On let us get it, It let us do
Avec moi couchez voulez-vous?
Sensitive people are we
To give we have so much
When about you I think,
Mmm! Myself I touch.
Mmm! Oooh! Oh Master Yoda!
Mmm! Oooh! Go, Master Yoda!
Heh heh heh heh heh!
