Georgian Folk Music - Kelaptari - Sagmiro
Georgian Folk Music - Kelaptari - Sagmiro
This is one of Georgian folk songs. Georgian national music is very old and one of the uniques in the world. Georgian folk music possesses what is the oldest tradition of polyphonic music in the world, predating the introduction of Christianity. Tuning Scales used in traditional Georgian music have, like most European scales, octaves divided into seven tones (eight including the octave), but the spacing of the tones is different. As with most traditional systems of tuning, traditional Georgian folk music uses a just perfect fifth. Between the unison and the fifth, however, come three evenly-spaced notes, producing a compressed (compared to most European music) major second, a neutral third, and a stretched perfect fourth. Likewise, between the fifth and the octave come two evenly-spaced notes, producing a compressed major sixth and a stretched minor seventh. This system of tuning renders thirds as the most consonant interval after fifths, which resulted in the third being treated as a stable interval in Georgia long before it acquired that status in Western music.[citation needed] Some consider the Georgian scale a "quintave system" (as opposed to the octave-repeating "octave system"). Due to the neutral tuning within the quintave system, the eighth degree or octave is slightly widened, which often results in a rise in pitch from the beginning of a song to the end. Because of the influence of the Western music and its different system of tuning, present-day performances ...

Maiden flight of my Trex 600 stretched to 710mm. 12s 5000mah 20C. Xera 4030 3Y. CC85HV. Photoshipone 2XPT gimbal. Spartan Quark gyro. Flies pretty well so far, seems very stable. I have the CoPilot II automatic stabilization system installed but not turned on at the moment. Ballast weight equal to the Canon 50D on the gimbal. Plenty of fine tuning left to do before putting the camera on.

Sulphur [Alternative Rock / Post-Rock piece in Open C Tuning]
An alternative / post-rock type piece (in Open C tuning) that I managed to whip up in a few hours for the heck of it. It was sure fun to make and is quite different from what I normally do with Arafúra or IZAH. This little piece was mainly created just to showcase the lead sound I can get with the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret (which is often just used as rhythm OD) and the G-System modulated delays (see the other vids I did on those!) in combination with a lead sound. Ferrari 340 Mexico Berlinetta by GWA Tuning 2011
Ferrari 340 Mexico Berlinetta by GWA Tuning 2011
The Ferrari 340 Mexico Berlineta is one of the most unique cars on the market, fetching an astounding $4.3 million at the RM Auctions in March 2011. That princely sum is justified considering the 340 Mexico only consists of three different chassis, each built exclusively for the 1952 Carrera Panamericana race in Mexico. One of these units, chassis number 0224 AT driven by Luigi Chinetti, was successful in crossing the finish lane in third place behind two Mercedes 300SL Gullwing models and this is the car GWA Tuning has chosen to celebrate with a tributary model. Using a Ferrari 456 platform as a base, GWA Tuning was able to bring the classic 340 Mexico Berlinetta to modern times. This 456 platform was re-bodied by Coach Building master, Mark Nungent, from Australia. The body was then fixed up with a new diffuser, rear spoiler, side vents, and front splitters, all from newer Ferraris. The body was also stretched by about 15 inches (mostly in the middle) to fit the new platform, but the wheelbase remained the same.

Hipshot B Bender Demo....Fender Telecaster
Hipshot B Bender Demo....Fender Telecaster
Just installed a Hipshot B/G bender on my Tele, so I figured I'd post a demo. New strings were sort of giving me tuning probs. Once the strings are stretched, it stays in tune perfectly. Also, I haven't had much time to practice with the Bender, so my playing's pretty shaky. My apologies. Equipment used: 1971 Fender Twin Reverb MIM Fender Telecaster with 3 brass saddle bridge and AVRI '52 pickups.
