Production : Christopher Riley Réalisateur : Joe Ahearne Ce documentaire fiction a été réalisé pour la chaîne de télévision BBC par Joe Aherne et produit par Tim Haines qui était déjà aux commandes de la spectaculaire série « sur la terre des dinosaures ». Dans « voyage autour du Soleil » le réalisateur nous entraîne dans une visite du système solaire qui est aussi une occasion de dresser un bilan sur les connaissances que nous avons des principales planètes qui nous entourent. Ce film a été validé par l'agence spatiale Européenne qui s'est fortement investie dans le projet puisqu'elle a permis à l'équipe du film de concevoir le vaisseau Pégase à partir de l'État de l'art dans les connaissances spatiales. En dehors des magnifiques images de synthèse, le film fait également appel à des scènes réelles qui ont été tournées en studio en Angleterre mais également dans le désert de l'Atacama au Chili où l'équipe a trouvé les conditions les plus proches des planètes Mars et Vénus. Pour ajouter au réalisme de l'ensemble, les scènes d'apesanteur à l'intérieur du vaisseau Pégase ont été réellement tournées en apesanteur à l'intérieur d'un avion Iliouchine de l'agence spatiale Russe.

Je vous retrouve mardi pour la suite ;D !!! A SAVOIR : Nous avons séjourné dans le MAYOR HOTEL dans le quartier de Chinatown. Le prix était très correct pour 5 nuits (il y a du thé et du café le matin pour ceux qui le veulent mais c'est tout , rien à manger). L'hôtel était très correct dans son ensemble donc si vous avez un petit budget je vous le recommande car il est plutôt bien placé étant donné qu'il est dans manhattan et à proximité d'une station de métro (il y a aussi des quartiers très jolis à visiter tels que Soho et Greenwich Village et dans lesquels vous pouvez vous rendre à pieds assez rapidement depuis l'hôtel vu q'ils sont à proximité) Adresses des lieux que vous avez pu apercevoir dans cette vidéo : Dunkin Donut's : Il y en a partout dans New York, impossible de ne pas en croiser un pendant votre séjour ! Les donut's sont très bons et les chocolats chauds aussi ! Et le gros plus : ce n'est vraiment pas cher ! Comptez 99 centimes de dollars pour un donut's ! Queen center mall : 90-15 Queens Boulevard, Elmhurst, NY 11373, États-Unis Il s'agit d'un centre commercial de plus de 150 boutiques. Vous y trouvez les enseignes que vous trouvez aussi dans Manhattan, donc c'est sympa à faire mais seulement si vous avez du temps pour faire du shopping. Nous y somme surtout aller car il y a Ulta beauty à quelques rues et que je voulais absolument aller dans ce magasin :). Le centre est facilement accessible depuis manhattan avec le metro (lignes E, M, R). La station de métro la plus proche est Woodhaven Blvd. Ulta beauty : Le plus proche de Manhattan (si vous êtes logés, comme nous, à Manhattan) est celui que se trouve dans le Queens. Il est au 61-35 Junction Boulevard Rego Park, NY. Il est à quelques rue du Queens center Mall et les stations de metro les plus proches sont Rego Park ou Woodhaven Blvd. (metro E, M, R depuis manhattan) Rockefeller Center / Rockefeller plaza : Pour monter en haut du building, au TOP OF THE ROCK, il faut avoir un ticket. Vous pouvez l'acheter sur place ou sur internet (c'est moins cher^^), nous avions acheté nos billets avant de partir sur le site Viator (environ 20€ par personne) et nous avions juste à échanger notre voucher contre des tickets sur place. Vous pouvez aussi prendre des forfaits qui comprennent la visite du Rockefeller center en plus de la montée et/ou un moment sur la patinoire de la Rockefleller plaza par exemple. A vous de voir ce que vous voulez faire. Mais le Top of the Rock est vraiment à faire la vue est MAGIQUE ! Le Rockefeller Center est un complexe commercial construit par la famille Rockefeller composé de dix-neuf bâtiments. Il est situé dans le quartier de Midtown, entre la 5e avenue et l'avenue des Amériques de l'arrondissement de Manhattan. Le Rockefeller Center est composé de nombreux commerces et salles de spectacle, dont la réputation, comme celle du Radio City Music Hall, a franchi les frontières de la ville et du pays. A heatwave in Pakistan's largest city Karachi and other districts of southern Sindh province has killed at least 122 people, health officials have said. "Since Saturday 114 people have died in Karachi and eight others (have died) in three districts of Sindh," provincial health secretary Saeed Mangnejo told AFP news agency ...
