I Destroyed My Bike and got it all on GoPro! I crashed right into a tree after landing a big jump badly. I broke my Norco Truax frame which really sucks! I have never broke or cracked a frame ever before!
I went up to the local mountain by myself to the fun trail with all the sweet mtb jumps, and there was some other kids up there hitting the jumps too, which was a good thing since I crashed, it would suck if I was all by myself up there!
I hadn’t ridden these jumps for a few months before, so I knew I had to get used to them again, but the thing is I had ridden all the jumps so often that they were easy for me anyway! I hit the 35 footer once already that day before this crash clip, I guess I was just going too fast this time because I overshot the jump! I have honestly never wiped out on this jump before, but now I overshot and my feet fell off and I was just holding on to the bike and I couldn’t steer or hit the brakes! I went full blast into the tree and the frame just snapped right there.

The Norco shootout was an armed confrontation between five heavily armed bank robbers and deputies of the Riverside and San Bernardino County sheriff's departments in Norco, California, United States on May 9, 1980. Two of the five perpetrators and one sheriff's deputy were killed, 9 other law enforcement officers were injured, and gunfire damaged at least 30 police cars and one police helicopter.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. (UTC-7), five men armed with shotguns, an assault rifle, handguns, and an improvised explosive device robbed the Norco branch of Security Pacific Bank. Deputies of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department responding to the bank robbery call confronted the perpetrators outside the bank and a shootout ensued, killing one perpetrator. The perpetrators then stole a vehicle in the bank parking lot and fled the scene, leading police on a 25-mile (40 km) car chase into neighboring San Bernardino County. Riverside County deputies were joined in the pursuit by officers of other area law enforcement agencies, including the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The perpetrators then ambushed the pursuing deputies and engaged them in another shootout in unincorporated San Bernardino County near Lytle Creek before escaping into a wooded area in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains.

I tried out a Norco Aurum at the Coast Gravity Bike Park for a run! It was my cousins rental bike, so we switched bikes for one run.

In this gopro video I hit up three dh mtb trails, called Red Dragon, hand job, and Hot Lap. I was riding at the CGP with relatives, so we had a bunch of us riding that day and most of them had to rent Norco Bikes.
I wanted to test out a Norco Aurum that my cousin was riding, so I let him ride my Norco Traux for a run.
The Sunshine Coast has lots of great riding there with lots of freeride trails and expecially with the Coast Gravity Bike Park it is an awesome place to ride mountain bikes.
The conditions were still quite dry but the trails were still in good condition, because they don’t have as many riders as places like whistler to wreck the trails!
This was filmed in July, 2015.

I used the Ultra Wide field of view at 2.7K, 60fps.

And it looks like the fatigue builds up due to heavy pedalling, not dropping. Overall experience with this bike is great, though it has several construction downsides, but the problem with metal fatigue is ruined all the experience... I had my money back after riding this bike for almost a year, so I strongly recommend you to have a manufacturer warranty if you buy Norco. It is worth mentioning that this... -

I Destroyed My Bike and got it all on GoPro! I crashed right into a tree after landing a big jump badly. I broke my Norco Truax frame which really sucks! I have never broke or cracked a frame ever before!
I went up to the local mountain by myself to the fun trail with all the sweet mtb jumps, and there was some other kids up there hitting the jumps too, which was a good thing since I crashed, it would suck if I was all by myself up there!
I hadn’t ridden these jumps for a few months before, so I knew I had to get used to them again, but the thing is I had ridden all the jumps so often that they were easy for me anyway! I hit the 35 footer once already that day before this crash clip, I guess I was just going too fast this time because I overshot the jump! I have honestly never wiped out on this jump before, but now I overshot and my feet fell off and I was just holding on to the bike and I couldn’t steer or hit the brakes! I went full blast into the tree and the frame just snapped right there.

The Norco shootout was an armed confrontation between five heavily armed bank robbers and deputies of the Riverside and San Bernardino County sheriff's departments in Norco, California, United States on May 9, 1980. Two of the five perpetrators and one sheriff's deputy were killed, 9 other law enforcement officers were injured, and gunfire damaged at least 30 police cars and one police helicopter.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. (UTC-7), five men armed with shotguns, an assault rifle, handguns, and an improvised explosive device robbed the Norco branch of Security Pacific Bank. Deputies of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department responding to the bank robbery call confronted the perpetrators outside the bank and a shootout ensued, killing one perpetrator. The perpetrators then stole a vehicle in the bank parking lot and fled the scene, leading police on a 25-mile (40 km) car chase into neighboring San Bernardino County. Riverside County deputies were joined in the pursuit by officers of other area law enforcement agencies, including the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The perpetrators then ambushed the pursuing deputies and engaged them in another shootout in unincorporated San Bernardino County near Lytle Creek before escaping into a wooded area in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains.

In this gopro video I hit up three dh mtb trails, called Red Dragon, hand job, and Hot Lap. I was riding at the CGP with relatives, so we had a bunch of us riding that day and most of them had to rent Norco Bikes.
I wanted to test out a Norco Aurum that my cousin was riding, so I let him ride my Norco Traux for a run.
The Sunshine Coast has lots of great riding there with lots of freeride trails and expecially with the Coast Gravity Bike Park it is an awesome place to ride mountain bikes.
The conditions were still quite dry but the trails were still in good condition, because they don’t have as many riders as places like whistler to wreck the trails!
This was filmed in July, 2015.

I used the Ultra Wide field of view at 2.7K, 60fps.

There are number of complaints, including here in comments, about this particular frame - looks like it has a common problem - weak spot where the frame snaps after some time due to the metal fatigue. And it looks like the fatigue builds up due to heavy pedalling, not dropping.
Overall experience with this bike is great, though it has several construction downsides, but the problem with metal fatigue is ruined all the experience... I had my money back after riding this bike for almost a year, so I strongly recommend you to have a manufacturer warranty if you buy Norco.
It is worth mentioning that this particular weak point looks exactly the same even on the newest models of Fluid, so I think they didn`t change lot...
When you pedalling hard, the momentum kinda rips apart the thin wall of the tube in that spot, because it has very steep angle and sudden transition between strengthening triangle that welded to the tube... Welding is loosens that spot as well, so I'd say it's a construction fuck up
