Mark Frost (born November 25, 1953) is an American novelist, screenwriter, director and film producer, best known as a writer for the television series Hill Street Blues and as the co-creator of the television series Twin Peaks.
Frost was a writer for the NBC television series Hill Street Blues. He co-created the ABC television series Twin Peaks and On the Air with David Lynch. He co-wrote and directed the film Storyville, co-wrote Fantastic Four and wrote The Greatest Game Ever Played, based on his book of the same name.
His other books on golf are The Match: The Day the Game of Golf Changed Forever, about a 1956 match pitting pros Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson against amateurs Harvie Ward and Ken Venturi, and The Grand Slam, about the 1930 golf season of Bobby Jones. His fictional works include The List of Seven, The Six Messiahs, and The Second Objective.
Born in New York, Frost moved with his family to Los Angeles during his childhood. He is the son of actor Warren Frost, whom he cast as Dr. Hayward in "Twin Peaks" and the brother of actress Lindsay Frost and writer Scott Frost. He graduated from the Carnegie Mellon College of Drama in 1975 with a BFA.

Mark Frost (born 21 October 1962) is a former English cricketer. Frost was a right-handed batting who bowled right-arm medium-fast. His main role in a team was a bowler. He was born at Barking, Essex.
He attended Durham University from 1981 to 1984, while studying there he played for Durham University Cricket Club. Frost made his debut in county cricket for Staffordshire in the 1984 Minor Counties Championship against Cambridgeshire. He next appeared in county cricket in 1987, once again representing Staffordshire in the Minor Counties Championship, making five appearances in that season. Following trial for several first-class counties, Frost was signed by Surrey for the 1988 season, making his first-class debut against Cambridge University in that same season. Frost made three further first-class appearances in 1988, and followed this up by making nine more in 1989. In thirteen first-class matches for Surrey, Frost took 25 wickets at an average of 40.20, with best figures of 5/40. These figures were his only five wicket haul for the county and came against Leicestershire in 1989. Despite being successful in Second XI cricket for Surrey, Frost found his first team opportunities limited and left the county at the end of the 1989 season.
Mark Frost (born 23 October 1971) is an English darts player from Stoke-on-Trent. He plays in Professional Darts Corporation events and uses the nickname Frosty the Throw Man for his matches. He is not a professional and works as a scaffolder.
Frost made his televised debut at the 2008 Stan James World Matchplay, where he qualified through the PDC Pro Tour order of merit. He faced Raymond van Barneveld in the first round and put up a good fight, leading on a number of occasions and even led 9-8, eventually losing in a tie-break 11-9 to the five-time World Champion.
