The Rocker is a 2008 American comedy directed by Peter Cattaneo, starring Rainn Wilson, Josh Gad, Teddy Geiger, Emma Stone, Christina Applegate and Jason Sudeikis. The film was written by Maya Forbes & Wallace Wolodarsky, from a story by Ryan Jaffe.
During the mid-80s, Robert "Fish" Fishman (Rainn Wilson) was the drummer for Vesuvius, a local heavy metal/glam metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. After playing a local gig, Fish's bandmates are approached by their manager, who says that a label is interested in them but will not sign them unless they get rid of Fish, replacing him as drummer with the nephew of the label's president. The band initially refuses to fire Fish, but relent after their manager tells them that they will open for Whitesnake if they sign to the label. Fish curses his bandmates for backstabbing him and vows to start another band that will be more famous than Vesuvius. Twenty years later, Fish leads an unhappy life by failing at another cubicle job, breaking up with his girlfriend, and having to move in with his sister, her husband, and two kids. Fish finds himself living in the attic looking for work, and is further frustrated by Vesuvius's success as a band.

The comedian takes the man prisoner and will only spare his life if the man can tell him a joke and make him laugh. When the man tells a joke that makes the comedian laugh, the comedian decides to kill him anyway. When the comedian uses the joke in his act, it is the only joke that gets a laugh. So he comes up with a plan picking a heckler out of his crowd at each performance. With each new joke is another life he takes until he is the funniest comedian in town... also becoming a serial killer.

Sometimes strength can be found in the most insignificant of places.
Plot

Enter Dr. Sally Powers, a fresh, clean cut psychology graduate who possesses supernatural powers. In a loose partnership the twosome gradually succeed in unraveling the killer's motive and working-pattern. This leaves only one person that would fit the profile...
Keywords: serial-killer
Plot
Albi, Franz and Tayfun ease through their small-town days, content to work at the garage, pick up girls and ride a bike. A little bit of freedom. When the new boss throws them out, they have to resort to new means to pay for the drinks, cigarettes and beloved motorcycles: betting, racing, crash-driving, car theft. But the tougher the going gets, the more they stick together.

See it's the reason I was put upon this earth, earth
My friends and my family say I'm a jerk jerk
Cause they don't know I'm taking music to the {hearse hearse}
I got this feeling
They don't understand the strain of what I deal with
All [in the day]
When it's the business
And I gotta handle it man and keep it real with you
This is what I gotta do
So I gotta be a man pack my bags let me go

Let's rock rock rock say lemme see your hands
Let's rock rock rock now lemme see your hands
Let's rock rock rock now lemme see your hands
I was a guy with a simple nine to five five
But I was tired of sorting mail cause of pride pride
So I quit my job and got
Cause I ain't wanna be the man on the side line
And now I'm everybodys screaming my name when I'm in the building
I ain't even thinking the same and that's brilliant
Had to sacrifice everything
And I did it cause I love it I ain't think twice of it
So my dudes and my girls sorry that I had to go
But my dream is my dream and it's best that you know
That I work for the [feddy] yes every single penny
I'm a rocker for real if I ain't tell you already
Let's go
I'm a rocker I don't give a damn who you are
Cause I'm a rocker what the hell you mad at me for
Man I'm a rocker I don't gotta play a guitar
To be a rocker say I'm a rocker
Now let's rock rock rock lemme see your hands
Let's rock rock rock say lemme see your hands
Let's rock rock rock now lemme see your hands
Let's rock rock rock now lemme see your hands
See I'm a man with a dream
A dream with a plan
And my plan was a scheme
And my scheme had a fan
And my fan had the keys
The keys were the [chance]
So lemme see your hands
Lemme see your hands
Lemme see your hands
Now lemme see you dance
Lemme see you dance
Now let me let let
Now let me see you dance
Now now let me let let
Now let me see your hands
Come on
I'm a rocker I don't give a damn who you are
Cause I'm a rocker what the hell you mad at me for
Man I'm a rocker I don't gotta play a guitar
To be a rocker say I'm a rocker
Now let's rock rock rock lemme see your hands
Let's rock rock rock say lemme see your hands
Let's rock rock rock now lemme see your hands
Sombras negras sobre la ciudad,
En tu cama aburrido estas,
El viento canta, suena una canción
Y tu cuerpo empieza a temblar
Es la magia del rock nÂ'roll
Que penetra en tu interior,
Suelta tu imaginación
Rocker
Rocker
Rocker
Rocker
Sexo, drogas y rock nÂ'roll
Es el lema en tu generación
Mucha gente se fija en ti
Y se pregunta que te hace vivir
Es la magia del rock nÂ'roll
Que penetra en tu interior,
Suelta tu imaginación
Rocker
Rocker
Rocker
Gods gave a sinner a second chance
"You've got the blues but you can't have a romance"
Ain't mucha sinner baby not a saint
The ghost of Elvis told me how to get the girls faint
I'm going down
Down the line
I'm a rocker yeah
Baby I'm a rocker
That's right
I'm a rocker yeah
A goddamn rocker yeah
That's fine
Gotta get you rockin' babe shaking your hips
Got a license to kiss gonna burn your lips
What you wanna woman is what you gonna get
We gonna rock all night until we drop dead
I'm going down
Down the line
I'm a rocker yeah
Baby I'm a rocker
That's right
I'm a rocker yeah
A goddamn rocker yeah
That's fine
I'm a rocker yeah
Baby I'm a rocker
That's right
I'm a rocker
Jesus I'm a goddamn rocker
That's fine
I made a deal with the Devil that I can't change
No no not any more
I made a deal with the Devil that I can't change
No no not any more
No no not any more
Have mercy in me now
You think you can humble me
'cause I'm all alone
But I've got a iron will
And a heart of stone
I'm a rocker (x4)
I can hear their lies
Sometimes O just wanna cry
But my iron will
Gives me the strength to kill
I'm a rocker (x4)
I'm a rocker
I bring you death
I'm a rocker
I bring you pain
I'm a rocker
I'm here to kill
I'm a rocker
I'm in construction of destruction
But I think I'm on overload
And I hold my hands together
Still the walls come crushin' down
My body ain't working faster
My mind's working overtime
Going hundred miles an hour standing still
But I'm alive and doing fine
I got the city sound rockin'
But I ain't got the money
I got the city sound rockin'
Don't you think it's funny `cause I do
Hey, little miss Double Bubble
I don't think you're worth the trouble
And don't believe what you read in the magazines
`Cause there ain't no fuckin' limousines
I got the city sound rockin'
But I ain't got the money
I got the city sound rockin'
Don't you think it's funny `cause I do
My mission is chaos in order
With intelligence in command
I'm way smarter than the guy who built the A-bomb
Whatever the fuck his IQ
And my body ain't working faster
My mind's working overtime
Going hundred miles an hour standing still
But I'm alive and doing fine
I got the city sound rockin'
But I ain't got the money
I got the city sound rockin'
Don't you think it's funny
I got the city sound rockin'
I got the city sound rockin'
I got the city sound rockin'
Tebi treba cvrsta ruka
Koja moze da te povede
U ovaj svet Rock'n'Rolla
Gitaru da odvrne
Ne trazi heroje
Heroje ulice
Ja necu da stojim
Sa druge strane granice
Ja sam samo jedan rocker
I vozim kroz noc
Nosim Rock'n'Roll u srcu
Kilometre osvajam
Ja mogu bez hrane, pica
Bez Rock'n'Rolla nikuda
Oseti vetar, oseti masinu
Oseti slobodu u ovom vremenu
Ja sam samo jedan rocker
I'm still not able to understand
I'm struggling here to deny it
If I knew this is all we had
I wouldn't have said goodbye then
It's only water, no spirit broken
But all these things we've held on left unspoken
Still the thought's enough to make me choke again
I had a friend who couldn't sit still
He would think until his hands began to spill things
And every morning he woke up
Never thought he'd done enough the night before
And it's hard to break the habits that we make
But don't you know that life could take it from you anyway?
If I could say it again I'd make you remember when
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
I'm a riot out of controller
I'm a wheeler, I'm a dealer
I'm a wicked woman stealer
I'm a bruiser, I'm a cruiser
I'm a rockin' rollin' man
got slicked backed hair, skin tight jeans
Cadillac car and a teenage dream
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
I'm a rockin' rollin' man
Got little red socks, blue suede shoes
V8 car and tattoos
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
I'm a rockin' rollin' man ... well, let's go
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller - 5 times
I'm a rockin' rollin' dream
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller - 4 times
I'm a rockin' rollin', rockin' rollin' man ... ow, hey
Wanna jive honey ... come on, spin you around
I'm a rocker, I'm a roller
