Coupons give weapon & armor skins / outfits for FREE. Objective: get coupons in open world (not instances), at a good rate. As a lv 60 in oculus gear, i achieve 1.7 coupons per minute (in an endless loop). This means that for 5.4 hours of grinding, i can get 550 fashion coupons, which is the cost of a full outfit. But improving your coupon drop rate requires some thought & legwork. its basically a quest. I did hours of testing on BAMS, levels 45-60. Here are my findings: A. Drop rate notes: - Open world BAMs drop fashion coupons. (Most if not all. A few I did not get any fast, so quit.) - You should find farming locations with many BAMs you can kill in loop (no stopping, no looting). - Higher level BAM means: - - better & better coupon drop rate per kill, - - more coupons per drop, - - slower kill rate. - - this means low-level toons will have fewer coupons and far more of work. - Drop rate at start of each new area seems much higher for about 15 minutes. This benefits you: - - Confirms that BAM drops fashion coupons (so if 20 kills and no drop, move on). - - Incentive to find more open-world BAMs, as pay rate is higher. - Above "rate increase" is not worth the bother, once you find good spots (due to travelling time). B. Best Drop Location, stats: (Lv 60 Reaper, wearing basic Oculus gear from Balder's Temple solo. Crystals for BAM, campfire charms) 1 Rate (best): 1.7 coupons per minute - BAM: Lv 59, Vengeful Glacial Giant - Location: Vale of Spires (N) in Lorcada, near Habere town. - Coupons per drop: 10 - Test Duration: 29 minutes - Action: a 3-kill cycle, done x8 = 32 kills - Drops: 50 coupons (5x10) - Speed Difficulty: for a noob Lv 60 toon, endless fast-ish loop is not hard to maintain. 2 Rate (2nd best): 1.6 coupons per minute. - BAM: Lv 45 Icereaver Giant & LV 47 Icewalker Barsicore. - Location: Frost Reach (SW) in Westonia. Howling Glacier area, near Wayfarer Camp. - Coupons per drop: 5 - Test Duration: 11 minutes - Action: a 9-kill cycle, x4 = 36 kills - Drops: 18 coupons (6x3) - Speed Difficulty: if overpowered, dead easy fast loop (but must change channels per 9 kills) C.
