AGO celebrates Jean-Michel Basquiat with special closing partyPress Release

The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) has enjoyed an exciting run of its acclaimed exhibition Jean-Michel Basquiat: Now’s the Time and is throwing a special party during the closing weekend to celebrate. On Saturday, May 9, 2015, the Gallery will stay open from 5:30 to 10 p.m., and specially priced tickets will be available for those hours to ensure that all Torontonians have a chance to experience this once-in-a-lifetime glimpse into Basquiat’s groundbreaking artistic vision.

2015 Aimia | AGO Photography Prize Kicks OffPress Release

The Aimia | AGO Photography Prize kicked off its 2015 program today by announcing a long list of semi-finalists. An international group of 15 curators, artists and scholars, each an expert in photography, nominated 27 exceptional artists from around the globe.
