Even in a world populated entirely by mechanical beings Rodney Copperbottom is considered a genius inventor. The Apple Watch Sport landed in our UK office this morning, so Cam unboxed it right away. Being the Sport model, it's made from 7000 series aluminum and the display is coated in ION-X glass. This is the 42mm white model, and Apple has yet again produced a fantastic unboxing experience. The oblong box is clean, white and minimal, while the watch itself comes in its own separate, plastic shell. Other goodies in the box include a spare S/M strap, the stupidly long charging cable, the power adapter as well as the usual paperwork. Cam also sets up the device, gives a quick tour of the hardware and its controls and gives his first impressions of the design. SpaceX CRS-6 Launch

After six successful missions to the International Space Station, including five official resupply missions for NASA, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft are set to liftoff from Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, for their sixth official Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) mission to the orbiting lab. Liftoff is targeted for Monday April 13, 2015, at 4:33pm EDT. If all goes as planned, Dragon will arrive at the station approximately two days after liftoff. Dragon is expected to return to Earth approximately five weeks later for a parachute-assisted splashdown off the coast of southern California. Dragon is the only operational spacecraft capable of returning a significant amount of supplies back to Earth, including experiments. The live launch webcast will begin here at approximately 4:15pm EDT.

Apple Watch hands-on review of the different models

I tried on the different Apple Watches, and I don't have a strong desire to get one to be honest. They're light (at least the sports ones are), but they look thick. Battery life is less than a day. And you can't wear it while swimming or showering. I'd like to see a thinner watch that's waterproof. Also, I feel like they're $150-200 watches, rather than $350 minimum. The 3rd party apps would be what will make or break these devices. We'll see. I plan on making some apps for the watch, which is probably the only reason why I'd buy it. I wouldn't get much personal use out of it I think. I'd probably use the Google Glass more, since I can do useful things like translate words on the fly or record POV videos like these. That's probably as far as I'd go with wearable tech. I wonder if that makes that "old guy" who doesn't adapt new tech. Are any of you guys getting one? If so, let me know why, because I don't see any "cool" "must-have" features yet. I guess telling me that I'm a fat ass and need to exercise more is something. But I have friends for that already.

GoFundMe Rejects Campaign For South Carolina Cop

"The popular crowd-funding site GoFundMe rejected a campaign to raise money for the South Carolina officer charged with fatally shooting an unarmed black man last week. Officer Michael Slager, 33, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder for the killing of 50-year-old Walter Scott after video footage surfaced, showing Scott being shot multiple times with his back turned and running away.
