Part of London's Commuter Belt, Beaconsfield is in the Chiltern Hills which are an area of outstanding natural beauty. Beaconsfield is found in the county of South Buckinghamshire and was the former constituency of British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli. Other famous residents of Beaconsfield include singer Barry Gibb, children's author Enid Blyton, actor James Corden and author Sir Terry Pratchett who was born in Beaconsfield. Beaconsfield is home to the National Film and Television School and many scenes were shot there for the classic film Brief Encounter.
Beaconsfield is a very picturesque area and is one of the many reasons to explain why it is a very attractive place to live. It has very good travel links, in particular its closeness to the M40 motorway which enables travellers the opportunity to quickly get to London. Beaconsfield Railway Station also has direct connections to London Marylebone and Birmingham.
