Hydraulic luffing crane of Skanska USA on the job in lower Manhattan at the new transportation hub. The project includes extensive underground work such as the construction of rail tunnels, including track laying and the installation of power, communications and signal systems as well as new climate-controlled train platforms and mezzanines. The project also includes about 1,000 meters of pedestrian tunnels that will link with the PATH train stations and facilitate transit connections with other train and subway lines. A total of 13 rail and subway lines including the PATH trains and New York City Transit trains will converge at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub. The facility's spectacular station facility is being designed by the world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. Skanska is already operating in the area as the general contractor on the construction of the Dey Street Concourse Structural Box, which comprises new pedestrian tunnels and entrances to and between the subway lines at Dey Street. The Dey Street Concourse is part of the Fulton Street Transit Center, which will connect to the World Trade Center Transportation Hub when it is completed. The World Trade Center Transportation Hub and the Dey Street Concourse Structural Box are two of the major projects in the reconstruction of Lower Manhattan's infrastructure system, which was severely damaged after the 2001 terror attacks.

The Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois has been an economic development organization for Madison and St. Clair Counties in Illinois since 1983. Their mission is to attract and retain jobs, stimulate capital investment, and promote economic development. Late in 2014, The Leadership Council and St. Louis Regional Chamber announced the launch of St. Louis Gateway. St. Louis Gateway is an initiative which creates an identity for the St. Louis region as a multimodal transportation hub. The objective is to attract businesses to the Metro St. Louis area which seek to locate where they can take advantage of the expanding multimodal transportation infrastructure and have easy access to about 30 percent of the U.S. population within a 500 mile radius. That access is available through six Class 1 rail lines, four major interstates, three airports, several pipelines, and the Mississippi’s most northern ice-free, lock and port. Our Guest today is Mark Harms, President of SCI Engineering and chairman of the Leadership Council’s Southwestern Illinois Transportation Enhancement initiative. He is here today to discuss why the Metro St. Louis area should be developed into a regional cargo distribution hub. Isaac now has no plans whatsoever, until he receives a video call from Stross talking about destroying the Marker that they both built; while telling Isaac about steps involving crawling into a "dark machine". He then tells Isaac that the Marker is in the Government Sector. Isaac asks Stross to make his way to the transport hub which he agrees to. Isaac makes his way through the Sprawl Daycare Center where he encounters his first Enhanced Slashers. Also, he encounters crawlers for the first time. Shortly before he leaves the Daycare Center, Ellie contacts Isaac holding Stross at gunpoint. Isaac asks Ellie to bring him to the transport hub.

Residents are invited to celebrate Stand Up 4 Transportation Day on Thursday, April 9! Stand Up 4 Transportation Day, celebrated nation-wide and organized by the American Public Transportation Association, is meant to promote awareness and knowledge of the importance of transportation as a vital link in our communities. Whether it's roads, bridges, infrastructure projects, public transportation or bike share programs, the transportation sector is helping to power the American economy and getting the job done for our citizens. To commemorate the day, NDSU President Dean Bresciani will welcome the Mayors from Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo and Dilworth when they gather at noon at the NDSU Memorial Union Transit Hub. Each will talk briefly about the importance of transportation in our metro area, followed by the signing of a joint proclamation. All Fargo City Commissioners have been invited to attend and a quorum is possible. Area residents and visitors can play an active role in this event by posting transportation-related selfies or photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on April 9. By using the hashtag #SU4TFM, participants will be eligible to win Beats by Dre earbuds, a FitBit or other prizes. Tennoji Station is one of Osaka's biggest transportation hubs, served by multiple JR and subway lines. Kintetsu Osaka Abenobashi Station is just across the street from Tennoji Station. The area south of Tennoji Station has gone through redevelopment over the last several years to make the district reborn. There are about seven malls in the area immediately surrounding the station, there is a wide variety of shopping choices. As other nearby attractions, there are Shitennoji Temple and Tennoji Park with a zoological garden and an art museum.
