According to the singer, that's where her fire comes from. Number 9. Nicole Richie. Lionel Richie's been her dad since she was 3, but the fashion designer's biological father is of Mexican descent. At birth, she was known as Nicole Camille Escovedo. Number 8. Jessica Alba. The Mexican roots of the actresses' family tree spread back a couple of generations, but they do reach there. Her father and his parents were born in California, but his ancestry is Mexican-American. Number 7. Louis C.K. The celebrated comedian wasn't born in Mexico, but did spend his younger days in the country, as that's where his father was born and that side of his family lives.
