Last weekend I went out to give a walk with my daughter and we were surprised with the discovery of a couple of vertebras from a fossil whale, and a vertebral disc of a fossil shark. The area is rich in fossils of the Late Pliocene with specially interesting examples of Cladocora caespitosa, a unique coral reef actually restricted to the Mediterranean basin; there are also several examples of sponges, irregular sea urchins, several species of clams, rays, etc. The image is taken with my brand new SJ4000 camera, stabilised with youtube standard deshaker.
