Peter Hunt may refer to:
Charles Lutwidge Dodgson ( /ˈtʃɑrlz ˈlʌtwɪdʒ ˈdɒdʒsən/ CHARLZ LUDT-wij DOJ-sən; 27 January 1832 – 14 January 1898), better known by the pseudonym Lewis Carroll (/ˈkærəl/ KARR-əl), was an English author, mathematician, logician, Anglican deacon and photographer. His most famous writings are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, as well as the poems "The Hunting of the Snark" and "Jabberwocky", all examples of the genre of literary nonsense. He is noted for his facility at word play, logic, and fantasy, and there are societies dedicated to the enjoyment and promotion of his works and the investigation of his life in many parts of the world, including the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States, and New Zealand.
Dodgson's family was predominantly northern English, with Irish connections. Conservative and High Church Anglican, most of Dodgson's ancestors were army officers or Church of England clergy. His great-grandfather, also named Charles Dodgson, had risen through the ranks of the church to become the Bishop of Elphin. His grandfather, another Charles, had been an army captain, killed in action in Ireland in 1803 when his two sons were hardly more than babies. His mother's name was Frances Jane Lutwidge.
Lee Marvin (February 19, 1924 – August 29, 1987) was an American film actor. Known for his gravelly voice, white hair and 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) stature, Marvin at first did supporting roles, mostly villains, soldiers and other hardboiled characters, but after winning an Academy Award for Best Actor for his dual roles in Cat Ballou (1965), he landed more heroic and sympathetic leading roles.
Marvin was born in New York City. He was the son of Lamont Waltman Marvin, an advertising executive and the head of the New York and New England Apple Institute, and his wife Courtenay Washington (née Davidge), a fashion writer and beauty consultant. He was named in honor of Confederate General Robert E. Lee, who was his first cousin, four times removed. His father was a direct descendant of Matthew Marvin, Sr., who emigrated from Great Bentley, Essex, England in 1635 and helped found Hartford, Connecticut.
Marvin studied violin when he was young. As a teenager, Marvin "spent weekends and spare time hunting deer, puma, wild turkey, and bobwhite in the wilds of the then-uncharted Everglades." He attended St. Leo College Preparatory School in St. Leo, Florida after being expelled from several other schools for bad behavior.
Plot
Set against the sexy, glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing in the 1970s, the film is based on the true story of a great sporting rivalry between handsome English playboy James Hunt (Hemsworth), and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Austrian driver Niki Lauda (Bruhl). The story follows their distinctly different personal styles on and off the track, their loves and the astonishing 1976 season in which both drivers were willing to risk everything to become world champion in a sport with no margin for error: if you make a mistake, you die.

Based on a true story.
Suzy Miller: [talking about the safety of a 1970's F1 car] Why don't they make it safer?::James Hunt: The risk of death turns people on.
James Hunt: The closer you are to death, the more alive you feel. It's a wonderful way to live. It's the only way to drive.
James Hunt: I feel responsible for what happened.::Niki Lauda: You are... but trust me: watching you win those races, while I was fighting for my life, you were equally responsible for getting me back in the car.
James Hunt: That wind you can feel is me breathing down your neck. Next time, I'll have you.
Niki Lauda: Happiness is the enemy.
Niki Lauda: A wise man can learn more from his enemies than a fool from his friends.
Niki Lauda: Happiness is your biggest enemy. It weakens you. Puts doubts in your mind. Suddenly you have something to lose.
Pulled to the limit
And I can’t take the strain
The world’s gone mad
And this madness will drive me insane
I can’t take this pain!
Signals are crossed
I don’t know what to think
Confusion and chaos
Are driving me over the brink
And I need a drink!
You’re waiting, waiting for death
Waiting, waiting for death
Trapped in the rat-race
And I’m playing their game
But I’ll keep on fighting
‘Cause I’m never gonna be tamed
I won’t be tamed!
If you know the truth
Don’t swallow their lies
Ignore what they tell you
And learn to believe your own eyes
And not their lies!
You’re waiting, waiting for death
Waiting, waiting for death
Pulled to the limit
And I can’t take the strain
The world’s gone mad
And this madness will drive me insane
I can’t take this pain!
Signals are crossed
I don’t know what to think
Confusion and chaos
Are driving me over the brink
I need a drink!
You’re waiting, waiting for death
We’re all fucking and fighting
From beginning to end
Sex gives you life
And death is life’s end
Death is the end
From the moment you drop out
Until you’re dropped back in, oh yeah
Remember that birth means you’re marked
With original sin
It won’t ever change
It’s always beginning again
The way that it starts and the way that it ends
Always stay the same
Stay the same
Sex and death!..
I’ve seen what life is, it’s all sex and death!
Sex and death!..
Inevitability
Beckons us all
With sex we are lured
With death, we answer the call
It’s always the same
Always beginning again
The way that it starts and the way that is ends
Always stay the same
Stormclouds loom darkly as battle is joined
It’s time to prepare for the fight
Don’t stand in the wings and await better things
Or you’ll find out that life’s passed you by
Wake up, and see the lights
Face facts ‘cause you’ve got to fight
So don’t let them grind you down
Stand tall, and don’t be pushed around
Small minded people control what you think
And they’ve twisted our means to their ends
They’d drown us all in a sea of red ink
To put our filth to an end
Wake up, and look around
‘Cause you’re trapped, and these walls surround you
Can you see through their disguise?
Time’s short, so open your eyes
Wake up, and look around
‘Cause you’re trapped, and these walls surround you
Can you see through their disguise?
Time’s short, so open your fucking eyes
The day we most fear draws so quietly near
They’ll soon end the faults of our ways
Computer control puts us deep in the hole
These tanks roll off the line
And though I make them, they ain’t mine
I make my life from sales of death
I feel no guilt, I’m just here to collect
It seems so useless to put up a fight
You’re on their treadmill and there’s no end in sight
They’ve got us trapped in dead end lives
No hope or promise, we fight to survive
Well, we see them as they see us
Perceptions clouded by fear and mistrust
We miss the point, we’re all the same
Each wants the other side to take all the blame
Nothing is sacred, nothing is clean
Defiled and tainted, completely obscene
They speak of truth with lying eyes
We’ve reached the level of those we despise
Well, men on top they roll the dice
They play their games and we all pay the price
And if the truth can set you free
We’re all enslaved by this hypocrisy!
You hear the warnings of pain, doom and strife
Can you imagine a fate worse than life?
Living this life, you live their lie
Prepare to meet your maker
He’s gonna bring you down
The reaper’s knocking at your door
And he’ll plant you underground
You haven’t got a prayer
You’re waiting there to die
And when your number’s up
You’ll kiss your ass goodbye, goodbye!
Sooner or later
Everybody buys the farm
You know it’s nothing new
It’s no reason for alarm
You act so cool and calm
You don’t even blink an eye
You haven’t got me fooled
‘Cause no one wants to die!
No one, no one survives
Meet your maker on the firing line
No mistaking, when it’s time it’s time
No escaping, when they draw the line
If life is taken, please God don’t take mine!
Kicking and screaming
They will drag you to your grave
So face the curtain call now
If you’re all so brave
This life is terminal
We all go in the end
The only difference is how we die
And when it ends
One hundred years from now
We’ll all be dead and gone
Rotting in our graves
Or passed into the world beyond
Our days are numbered
We’re just waiting for the call
Face your mortality
For death will take us all!
No one, no one survives
You die!
Prepare to meet your maker
He’s gonna bring you down
The reaper’s knocking at your door
And he’ll plant you underground
You haven’t got a prayer
You’re waiting there to die
And when your number’s up
You’ll kiss your ass goodbye, goodbye!
Is this life or is this death?
Well, just what makes you think it’s all for the best?
Do you care, can you feel the pain?
Two billion people being starved for your gain
It seems that growth never keeps us with need
Too many mothers got too many mouths to feed
Damned if we do, we’ll be damned if we don’t
Things have to change and we all know that they won’t
Will things get better?
Well, who can tell?
But if this is Heaven
Then show me Hell!
Build swords from plowshares, squeeze blood from a stone
And when they’ve used you, you’ll be left on your own!
There seems no hope as we race towards the fall
The war machine will consume us all
Violence and bloodshed, the folly of man
They call it progress, I call it a scam
Push blindly forward without asking why
The rich gets richer, the poor can all die!
Will things get better?
Well, who can tell?
But if this is Heaven
Then show me Hell!
Show me Hell!
Show me Hell!
Is this life or is this death?
Well, just what makes you think it’s all for the best?
Do you care, can you feel the pain?
Two billion people being starved for your gain
It seems that growth never keeps us with need
Too many mothers got too many mouths to feed
Damned if we do, we’re gonna be fucked if we don’t
Things have to change and we all know that they won’t
Well they tell you all to just say no
But we all know where they can go
They're all a bunch of hypocrites
And if they just say no, I'll just say yes
Hysterical, McCarthyist, they want to find a nice quick fix
A witch hunt is being carried on
And all of your rights will soon be gone
They catch your ass with one small joint
They'll take your car, you'll get the point
They'll nail you up onto that cross
But Noriega got paid off
Just say no to poverty
Just say no to misery
Just say no to Ronnie's wife
Just say yes to real life
Saying no will fail the test
Without a reason to say yes
Drugs are a symptom not the cause
They're not the source of all our flaws
The world's got problems that's a fact
But it's gone too far to turn it all back
The war on drugs is so much bull
Our jails are already full
Should we let a few child molesters out?
I guess so
Stupid, fucking, narrow-minded, longwinded
Short-sighted, useless stupid, fucking fools
Well fuck them all and all their rules
Why don't they put this shit to rest?
They tell me no, I tell them yes
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
Zero tolerance that's the way
They'll make the average bozo pay
But working for the C.I.A.
Means the big fish get to swim away
Iran - contra, Pentagon
But we all know what's going on
And we're the ones who'll pay the cost
And if anyone's guilty it's them not us
Just say no to all their lies
Don't say no without asking why
Just say no to hypocrisy
Life is nasty, brutish, and short
It gives you no breaks, forgive no mistakes
It’s time you got wise, opened your eyes
And dealt with the world as it is
Harsh realities
It’s time to stop living this life of illusion
Ignoring life’s problems creates no solutions
Our leaders have lied, there’s nowhere to hide
We’ve lived past our means and now the bills must be paid
And we’re the ones who pay!
Life is nasty, brutish and short
It gives you no breaks, forgive no mistakes
It’s time you got wise, opened your eyes
And dealt with the world as it is
If they don’t like your face
They’ll put you in your place
You’ve got no recourse
You’re guilty as charged
You can’t tell them right from wrong
If they think they know which side you’re on
You’re at their mercy
And their mercy is no place to be!
It ain’t no place for me!
They’ve got the badges
They’ve got the guns
You ain’t got a bloody thing
When someone’s word is law!
You’ve gotta hide your rage
Or they’ll put you in the cage
Just smile at the injustice
And be grateful if they let you walk away
If they don’t like your face
They’ll put you in your place
You’ve got no recourse
You’re guilty has charged
You can’t tell them right from wrong
If they think they know which side you’re on
You’re at their mercy
And their mercy is no place to be!
Then if they say you’re guilty
Taken to the limit
They’ve pushed you to the wall
They seem to think they own you
And it’s time their bluff was called
Don’t let yourself be bullied
They haven’t got the right
Don’t let them take advantage of you
Not without a fight!
You give some men an inch
You know they’ll steal a mile
They’ll stab you in the back
And keep on laughing all the while
Don’t let those assholes grind you down
Don’t let them waste your time
Stand up and defy them
Or they’ll use you every time
Beat the system, beat them at their own game
Don’t take the bullshit or they’ll drive you insane
Follow your heart, no matter what they say
Beat the system ‘cause you’ve gotta live life your way!
If they win you’re gonna lose
So fight them tooth and nail
Who cares about their rights
When truth and justice are for sale?
Are we men or are we mice?
Are we all wolves or sheep?
If ignorance is bliss
Then we’re all blissfully asleep
It’s all a load of bullshit
Or don’t you see the light?
You’ve gotta use your brains
If you’re gonna win the fight
Obedience to petty tyrants
The cowardice of fools
I’m a law unto myself
And I’m breaking all the rules
Beat the system, beat them at their own game
Don’t take the bullshit or they’ll drive you insane
Follow your heart, no matter what they say
Beat the system ‘cause you’ve gotta live life your way!
Live you way, yeah beat the system!
Taken to the limit
They’ve pushed you to the wall
They seem to think they own you
And it’s time their bluff was called
Don’t let yourself be bullied
They haven’t got the right
Don’t let them take advantage of you
Not without a fight!
You give some men an inch
You know they’ll steal a mile
They’ll stab you in the back
And keep on laughing all the while
Don’t let those assholes grind you down
Don’t let them waste your time
Stand up and defy them
Or they’ll use you every time
Beat the system, beat them at their own game
Don’t take the bullshit or they’ll drive you insane
Follow your heart, no matter what they say
