Liberal Party is the name for dozens of political parties around the world. Liberal parties can be center-left, centrist, or center-right depending on their location. They can further be divided based on their adherence to social liberalism or classical liberalism, although all liberal parties and individuals share basic similarities, including the support for civil rights and democratic institutions.

John Marwood Cleese (/ˈkliːz/; born 27 October 1939) is an English actor, comedian, writer and film producer. He achieved success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and as a scriptwriter and performer on The Frost Report. In the late 1960s he became a member of Monty Python, the comedy troupe responsible for the sketch show Monty Python's Flying Circus and the four Monty Python films: And Now for Something Completely Different, The Holy Grail, Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life.

In the mid 1970s, Cleese and his first wife, Connie Booth, co-wrote and starred in the British sitcom Fawlty Towers. Later, he co-starred with Kevin Kline, Jamie Lee Curtis and former Python colleague Michael Palin in A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures. He also starred in Clockwise, and has appeared in many other films, including two James Bond films as R/Q, two Harry Potter films and three Shrek films.

With Yes Minister writer Antony Jay he co-founded Video Arts, a production company making entertaining training films.

Kathleen O. Wynne is a politician in Ontario, Canada. She is a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, representing the riding of Don Valley West for the Liberal Party. She is currently Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and Aboriginal Affairs

Wynne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen's University, a Master of Arts degree in linguistics from the University of Toronto (1980) and a Master of Education degree in adult education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She has also completed a course in mediation training at Harvard University. She was a member of the discipline committee of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists from 1997 to 2000.

Wynne served as president of the Toronto Institute of Human Relations. In 1996, she helped found Citizens for Local Democracy, which opposed the efforts of Ontario's Progressive Conservative government to amalgamate the City of Toronto. She also founded the Metro Parent Network (now the Toronto Parent Network) which supports improvements in the province's public education system, and has participated in numerous other community endeavours. Wynne helped found MAD for Dancing, a community fundraising group that has donated over $50,000 to organizations that support gay and lesbian youth.

Rob Wheway is a British politician and member of the Liberal Party. He was President of that party during 2009-2010, and is currently a member of its National Executive Council.

From 2004 to 2008 Mr Wheway was a Liberal councillor on Wyre Forest District Council, representing the Broadwaters ward.

Gregory Andrew Hunt (born 18 November 1965), an Australian politician, has been a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since November 2001, representing the Division of Flinders, Victoria.

He was born in Melbourne, Victoria, and was educated at The Peninsula School. He graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Yale University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar and obtained a Master of Arts in International Relations. He was Associate to the Chief Justice of the Australian Federal Court in 1992.

Hunt was Senior Adviser to Alexander Downer, both as Leader of the Opposition (1994–95) and Minister for Foreign Affairs (1995–98). He worked for McKinsey & Company (1999–2001) and was Director of Strategy at the World Economic Forum in Geneva 2000-01.

Hunt was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Environment and Heritage in October 2004. In January 2007 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
