U.S. employers and their employees are turning to medical tourism from feeling the pain of rising healthcare costs and complicated provisions surrounding the Affordable Care Act. Jack Norton, a human resources manager at Blue Lake Rancheria, heard a cry loud and clear, saving $12,000 in healthcare expenses for his employee in the process.
Bruce Ryan, a construction manager at the Casino and Hotel run by the Blue Lake Rancheria tribe in Northern California, needed surgery for a debilitating and painful rotator cuff injury. His employer gave him the option to travel six hours to Stanford Medical Center or across the continent instead.
Both employer and employee are resting quite comfortably with the decision.

Previously, the legion was not stationed in mainland France except in wartime. Until 1962, the Foreign Legion headquarters was located in Sidi Bel Abbès, Algeria. Today, some units of the Légion are in Corsica or overseas possessions (mainly in French Guiana, guarding Guiana Space Centre), while the rest are in the south of mainland France. Musée Guimet France treasured hundreds of precious cultural relics from Dunhuang. The most impressive among these is Buddhist painting. With Chinese society becoming more stable, Dunhuang's protection had taken on the status of an important national project. In 1943, the Dunhuang Art Institute was established and Chang Shuhong, an overseas student from Paris, was appointed to the job of preserving the site, a goal to which he remained devoted throughout his life.

The Gallo-Romans faced raids and migration from the Germanic Franks, who dominated the region for hundreds of years, eventually creating the medieval Kingdom of France. France emerged as a major European power in the Late Middle Ages, with its victory in the Hundred Years' War (1337 to 1453) strengthening French state-building and paving the way for a future centralized absolute monarchy. During the Renaissance, France experienced a vast cultural development and established the beginning of a global colonial empire. The 16th century was dominated by religious civil wars between Catholics and Protestants (Huguenots).

French Guiana
French Guiana (pronounced /ɡiːˈɑːnə/ or /ɡiːˈænə/, French: Guyane française; French pronunciation: [ɡɥijan fʁɑ̃sɛz]), officially called Guiana (French: Guyane), is an overseas department and region of France, located on the north Atlantic coast of South America in the Guyanas. It borders Brazil to the east and south, and Suriname to the west. Its 83,534 km2 (32,253 sq mi) area has a very low population density of only 3 inhabitants per km2, with half of its 250,109 inhabitants in 2013 living in the metropolitan area of Cayenne, its capital. By land area, it is the second largest region of France and the largest outermost region within the European Union.
The area was originally inhabited by Native Americans. It was colonised by Frenchmen and other Europeans, who introduced African slaves and later Asian labourers and Hmong refugees from Laos.
The official language is French, while each ethnic community has its own language, of which French Guianese Creole is the most widely spoken.

Medical Tourism to France | US Company Sends Employees Overseas
U.S. employers and their employees are turning to medical tourism from feeling the pain of rising healthcare costs and complicated provisions surrounding the Affordable Care Act. Jack Norton, a human resources manager at Blue Lake Rancheria, heard a cry loud and clear, saving $12,000 in healthcare expenses for his employee in the process. Bruce Ryan, a construction manager at the Casino and Hotel run by the Blue Lake Rancheria tribe in Northern California, needed surgery for a debilitating and painful rotator cuff injury. His employer gave him the option to travel six hours to Stanford Medical Center or across the continent instead. Both employer and employee are resting quite comfortably with the decision.

Previously, the legion was not stationed in mainland France except in wartime. Until 1962, the Foreign Legion headquarters was located in Sidi Bel Abbès, Algeria. Today, some units of the Légion are in Corsica or overseas possessions (mainly in French Guiana, guarding Guiana Space Centre), while the rest are in the south of mainland France. Current headquarters is in Aubagne, France, just outside Marseille. Chinese Civilization 2009-11-13 The Heritage of Dunhuang Overseas in France
Dunhuang is located in the southwest of Gansu. The ancient Silk Road passed here after Gansu Corridor. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, Dunhuang art reached its prime. Musée Guimet France treasured hundreds of precious cultural relics from Dunhuang. The most impressive among these is Buddhist painting. With Chinese society becoming more stable, Dunhuang's protection had taken on the status of an important national project. In 1943, the Dunhuang Art Institute was established and Chang Shuhong, an overseas student from Paris, was appointed to the job of preserving the site, a goal to which he remained devoted throughout his life.

Dunhuang is located in the southwest of Gansu. The ancient Silk Road passed here after Gansu Corridor. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, Dunhuang art reached its prime. Musée Guimet France treasured hundreds of precious cultural relics from Dunhuang. The most impressive among these is Buddhist painting. With Chinese society becoming more stable, Dunhuang's protection had taken on the status of an important national project. In 1943, the Dunhuang Art Institute was established and Chang Shuhong, an overseas student from Paris, was appointed to the job of preserving the site, a goal to which he remained devoted throughout his life.

Earlier this summer we spent a whole 10 days in Paris and we decided we wanted to highlight some of the best attractions and activities around the city. Over the course of our visit we came up with 50 things to do in Paris, but of course, there are plenty more things you could experience here. We hope this guide will you plan your trip to Paris, and let us know if there's anything else you would add to this list. Now let's get started!

So we're wrapping things up here. What would be your one tip for visiting Paris? Well, I have recently spent a whole ten days here in summer. I would say that if you really want to visit the art galleries, the museums and all of the main attractions you should probably avoid summer and like either come in the spring or the fall or even winter. Because the lines are insane and sometimes you have to wait like an hour and a half or two hours.
So how about you? What are your final thoughts on Paris? So my finals thoughts is obviously Paris is one of the top cities in the world in terms of attractions. There is going to be garbage, there is going to be lines, there is going to be some areas that are a bit of an eyesore. But there is also a lot of beauty and there is also a lot to do here.

But first here’s some more about the city!
Paris is one of my favourite places in the whole world. With its grand boulevards, friendly locals, and first class cuisine, this city really has it all!
One of the best bits about Paris is how close it is!
Paris is connected to London by the Eurostar. Trains depart from St Pancras International in London, stop off at Ebbsfleet International, and Ashford International in Kent along the way. Trains start running at 5.40am and run every 60 - 90 minutes until 8.00pm.
You’ll need your passport and ticket ready to pass through airport style security and board the train.
However you can two bags, and there’s no weight restrictions to worry about! There’s an onboard cafe that sells hot food and drinks, and modern trains even have wifi. All in all the journey takes about two and half hours.
The EuroStar arrives at Paris Gare Du Nord, from here you can take the metro or a taxi to your hotel. We’ll have more on the Metro later!
Now if you’re flying in…
There are routes from most airports in the UK, and a flight will take between 1 - 2 hours, you’ll either land in Charles De Gaulle in the North East, or the Smaller Paris Orly in the South.
To get into the city from Charles De Gaulle airport, you can take Line B of the RER, trains take about 35 minutes to Paris Gare Du Nord, where you can find connections to the Metro and other public transport.
From Orly Airport you can connect to Line B of the RER line as well. Although you’ll need to take the Orly Val Shuttle Service from the airport to Antony train station first.
However, both airports are served by Air France’s transfer buses. There are two lines from Charles de Gaulle into the city, one from Paris Orly and a line that connects the two.
As with most cities we recommend getting around on foot, besides being eco-friendly, it’s a great way to get a feel for the city.
But just bear in mind that Paris is big. Like, really big. A walk from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame will take about an hour. Fortunately, if you’re strapped for time then there are lots of really good public transport links.
The subway system is split into the Metro and RER lines. Tickets will work across both so you can treat it as one big underground network. In our experience, it served a purpose which was to us around the city quickly. It’s just not the cleanest.
The Metro has 16 lines, each with a different colour while the five RER lines are assigned the letters A, B, C, D and E. RER and Metro trains run every day from 6 am until half past midnight.
As for tickets a single will cost you €1.90, we brought a book of 10 for €14.50. Now there are weekly and monthly passes available, but in my opinion, they’re just a faff! You need a Passport photo, and everything else, so I just say a book of ten is the way forward!

Here, the terrain is wild, unmarked, and unpatrolled - a stripped down, raw version of big mountain skiing. With 2km of vertical drop, a simple ski run journeys through a labyrinth of glaciers, couloirs, and forest glades. Local freerider Bruno Florit, and UIAGM mountain guide Joe Vallone share how unique and special La Grave is, but also reveal the respect a skier must have for the mountain when in search of such deep rewards.

Surfing and travelling: I Love the Seaside offers the best of both worlds, and a little more. For this guide we explored surf meccas in France, Spain and Portugal, extensively. Medical Tourism to France | US Company Sends Employees Overseas
U.S. employers and their employees are turning to medical tourism from feeling the pain of rising healthcare costs and complicated provisions surrounding the Affordable Care Act. Jack Norton, a human resources manager at Blue Lake Rancheria, heard a cry loud and clear, saving $12,000 in healthcare expenses for his employee in the process. Bruce Ryan, a construction manager at the Casino and Hotel run by the Blue Lake Rancheria tribe in Northern California, needed surgery for a debilitating and painful rotator cuff injury. His employer gave him the option to travel six hours to Stanford Medical Center or across the continent instead. Both employer and employee are resting quite comfortably with the decision.

Chinese Civilization 2009-11-13 The Heritage of Dunhuang Overseas in France
Dunhuang is located in the southwest of Gansu. The ancient Silk Road passed here after Gansu Corridor. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, Dunhuang art reached its prime. Musée Guimet France treasured hundreds of precious cultural relics from Dunhuang. The most impressive among these is Buddhist painting. With Chinese society becoming more stable, Dunhuang's protection had taken on the status of an important national project. In 1943, the Dunhuang Art Institute was established and Chang Shuhong, an overseas student from Paris, was appointed to the job of preserving the site, a goal to which he remained devoted throughout his life.

On August 28, 2015 a small team of Nike athletes went overseas to Chamonix, France to compete in some of the biggest ultra endurance events in the world. The UTMB® (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc) is a 170 km/105 mile race circumventing the Alps, crossing into 3 countries with over 33,000 ft of elevation gain. On August 28, 2015 a small team of Nike athletes went overseas to Chamonix, France to compete in some of the biggest ultra endurance events in the world.
The UTMB® (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc) is a 170 km/105 mile race circumventing the Alps, crossing into 3 countries with over 33,000 ft of elevation gain.
The CCC® (Chamonix-Courmayeur-Champex) is a 101 km race starting in Courmayeur, Italy and also finishing in Chamonix, France. This race has over 20,000 ft of positive elevation change.
Both events are considering one of the toughest at its respective distances. American men have not typically fared well there. As such, Nike athletes David Laney (UTMB), Tim Tollefson (CCC) and Zach Miller (CCC) set out to prove that American men can compete and compete well in the imposing European mountains.
