Plot
The professional and personal life of actor and comedian 'Peter Sellers (I)' (qv) was a turbulent one. His early movie fame was based primarily on his comic characterizations, often of bumbling and foreign-accented persons, characters which he embodied. As his movie fame rose, he began to lose his own personal identity to his movie characters, leading to self-doubt of himself as a person and a constant need for reassurance and acceptance of his work. This self-doubt manifested itself in fits of anger and what was deemed as arrogance by many. In turn, his personal relationships began to deteriorate as his characterizations were continually used to mask his problems. His first wife, Anne Howe, left/divorced him and his relationships with his parents and children became increasingly distant. His relationship with his second wife, Swedish actress 'Britt Ekland' (qv), was based on this mask. In his later life, he tried to rediscover himself and his career with what would become his penultimate film role, that of Chance in _Being There (1979)_ (qv).

[In a restaurant with Sophia Loren]::Waiter: What would sir and madam say to a little fish?::Peter Sellers: I'd probably say "Hello little fish!"
Anne Sellers: [shouting] I'm fucking bored of the little boy! Why can't you be a man? You're a miserable, lying shit I hate you.
Dennis Selinger: [Handing Sellers a script] It's called "The Pink Panther."::Peter Sellers: Sounds like a bloody strip joint... for poofs.
Businessman on Plane: Excuse me, but aren't you Peter Sellers?::Peter Sellers: Not today.

Ich bin verknallt bis über beide Ohren
in Sophia Loren.
Ginas rotes Haar ist echt
Caroline küßt nicht schlecht
doch ich habe mein Herz verloren
an Sophia Loren.
Angelina tanzt so gut
Antonella hat viel Glut.
Oh alle sind sie Rasse
und lieb zu jeder Stund'
doch wenn ich manchmal passe
dann hat das einen ganz besond'ren Grund.
Ich bin verknallt bis über beide Ohren
in Sophia Loren.
Josefine spielt gut Bass
Mit Antoinette macht's immer Spaß.
Jedes Girl hat 'ne eigene Note
und jede ist toll auf ihre Art
doch ansonsten da gibt es nur eine
die einfach alle Vorzüge hat.
Instrumental...
Ich bin verknallt bis über beide Ohren
in Sophia Loren.
Doch leider ist sie nie am Ort
ich bin zwar hier
doch sie ist zu weit fort.
Darum lieb' ich alle Mädchen
die in meiner Nähe sind
denn die vielen wilden Träume vergehen
wie sie gekommen sind.
Darum schenke ich Augen und Ohren
Sophia Loren
nur wenn ich sie im Kino seh'
