Salyut 7 (Russian: Салют-7; English: Salute 7) (aka DOS-6) was a space station in low Earth orbit from April 1982 to February 1991. It was first manned in May 1982 with two crew via Soyuz T-5, and last visited in June 1986, by Soyuz T-15. Various crew and modules were used over its lifetime, including a total of 12 manned and 15 unmanned launches. Supporting spacecraft included the Soyuz T, Progress, and TKS spacecraft.
It was part of the Soviet Union's Salyut Program, and launched on April 19, 1982, on a Proton rocket from Site 200/40 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in what was then the Soviet Union. Salyut 7 was part of the transition from "monolithic" to "modular" space stations, acting as a testbed for docking of additional modules and expanded station operations. It was also the tenth space station of any kind launched.
The Salyut program (Russian: Салю́т, IPA: [sɐˈlʲut], Salute or Fireworks) was the first space station program undertaken by the Soviet Union, which consisted of a series of nine space stations launched over a period of eleven years from 1971 to 1982. Intended as a project to carry out long-term research into the problems of living in space and a variety of astronomical, biological and Earth-resources experiments, the program allowed space station technology to evolve from the engineering development stage to long-term research outposts in space. Ultimately, experience gained from the Salyut stations went on to pave the way for multimodular space stations such as Mir and the International Space Station, with each of those stations possessing a Salyut-derived core module at its heart.
The program consisted of a series of six scientific research stations and three military reconnaissance stations, the latter being launched as part of the highly secretive Almaz program. Salyut broke several spaceflight records, including several mission duration records, the first ever orbital handover of a space station from one crew to another, and various spacewalk records. By the time the program concluded, in 1991, it had seen space station technology evolve from basic, single-docking port stations to complex, multi-ported orbital outposts with impressive scientific capabilities, whose technological legacy continues to the present day.
Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma, AC, Hero of the Soviet Union, (born January 13, 1949) is a former Indian Air Force test pilot, and Cosmonaut aboard Soyuz T-11 as part of an Intercosmos Research Team. Sharma was the first Indian to travel in space.
Rakesh Sharma was born in 1949 in [[Patiala], Punjab, India in a Hindu gaur Brahmin family and was schooled at St. George's Grammar School (Hyderabad) & Kendriya Vidyalaya Tirumalagiri, Hyderabad. He joined the NDA as an Air Force cadet in July 1966. He was commissioned into the Indian Air Force as a Pilot Officer in 1970. In 1971 operations against Pakistan, he flew various missions in his MiG aircraft with distinction.
Sharma joined the Indian Air Force and progressed rapidly through the ranks. Sharma, then a Squadron Leader and pilot with the Indian Air Force embarked on a historic mission in 1984 as part of a joint space program between the Indian Space Research Organisation and the Soviet Intercosmos space program, and spent eight days in space aboard the Salyut 7 space station. Launched along with two Soviet cosmonauts aboard Soyuz T-11 on the 3 April 1984, was 35-year-old Sharma. During the flight, Sharma conducted multi-spectral photography of northern India in anticipation of the construction of hydroelectric power stations in the Himalayas. In a famous conversation, he was asked by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi how India looked from space, to which he replied, ''Main binaa jhijhak ke keh sakta hoon.., Sare Jahan Se Achcha" (a reference to an iconic poem used in India's freedom struggle, usually referred to as 'Saare jahaan se achha Hindustan haamara, ' our land of Hindustan, is the Best in the world').
Man I consider my life nuthin'
if I could just finish the race
and complete the job the
lord jesus gave me
I live to tell the world his message
Romans 1:16 "I'm not Ashamed"
I Ain't Ashamed
(Hook)
We Souled Out
Seeking God's face till we fold out
you want it, we got it
we ain't tryin' to hold out
break me, shake me, mold me
I would rather die like Christ
that live unholy
(Verse1)
1 - 1 - 6 a band of misfits
who get sick at the
state of the world
so we hit strips and spit
Christ Jesus, who scooped us out of the
dirt
and cleaned us
we were slave to sinful ways but Christ
freed us
believe us
because of the bible that supercedes us
not to the intellectual thesis
they say we believe in a fools faith
cause kids can grasp it
and salvation is granted, to those who
ask it
but even if you don't know systematic
theology
or eschatology
you know Jesus is who you wanna to seek
we ought to be
sowing seeds and seeping truth
diciplin' groups of young soldiers
and reeping fruit
aww yeah
this a part of our lifestyle
might sound good on wax
but we livin' it right now
I wish you would catch me on tapes and
CD's
But never see me in the streets in 3-D
B, Please
We ain't come here to appease
we came to spit these spiritual
soliloquies
why killers squese triggers
and hammers clap
I'm a shove on my bullet truth vest
and hammer back like that
(Hook)
We Souled Out
Seeking God's face till we fold out
you want it, we got it

(Verse 2)
Man I do this for the, Way, the truth

the worlds the same
everyone want to cop a chain, cop a
dame , cop 22's on the range
want to cop big fortune and fame
and claiming that they the reason that
the cops get trained
stop the game
I came here to drop a name
Jesus
The same one that blocked the pain
How many thugs you know hard enough to
stop the flames
its like
standing on the tracks tyrin to
block a train
you got the game
messed up
stop and change
mind trapped all wrapped up in locks a
chains
the same God you pray to before you
sleep at night
the same God you direspect when you
creep at night
seek the light
ain't no trin' to plead for life
talkin' bout' I sorry God
He like
Leave my sight
The key to life
is none other than Jesus Christ
If you a slave to your ways
Be free tonight
(Hook)

Not for spinners on the wheels of
expensive cars
Man I do this for the folk who like to
lift their arms
pray to god who gave us life
so he can give us all
man I do this for the blocks in tha
Hood
the rocks in tha hood
Jesus Chist, Cornestone

I am souled out, my mind is made up (x4)
Who can separate us from the love Jesus
Not death, nor life
Jesus paid the price, now I'm free from sin
I am souled out, my mind is made up (x2)
I've come through the fire, I've come through the rain
But God, He never left my side
He's my comfort through all hurt and pain
I am souled out (x 6)
[invert harmony up]
I am souled out (x 6)
My heart is fixed, my mind's made up
No room, no vacancies, I'm all filled up
His Spirit lives in me
- and that's the reason - I'm Souled Out!
My heart is fixed, my mind's made up
No room, no vacancies, I'm all filled up
His Spirit lives in me
- and that's the reason - I'm Souled Out!
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes
My heart is fixed, my mind's made up
No room, no vacancies, I'm all filled up
His Spirit lives in me
Sold out, do, do you wanna it
On a magazine cover?
Take it, it's my body
Take it, I want money
Diamonds are a girl's best friend
Diamonds are a girl's best friend
Wanna be a star
Watch me go nowhere
Sucking on his dick
Fuck it, I want money
Diamonds are a girl's best friend
Diamonds are a girl's best friend
I see the way you look at girls
You think that I don't know it
I know what you want from me
I know what you want from me
Sold out, do, do you wanna it
On a magazine cover?
Take it, it's my body
Some days every word gets in our way
You don't make sense of what I say
And every answer begs another question why
I didn't want to
Maybe I could have changed the way it was
I could have made much more of us
And if I failed perhaps it wasn't just because
I didn't want to
Don't take it as a sign
The stars were out of line
But heaven knows
Whoever I was then
She won't be back again so let her go
But you I wouldn't change
I wouldn't change
I wouldn't change you if I could
It's understood
They got hardboard I got solid wood
Somehow if I am wont to take my time
If I dig in where I should mine
It doesn't build a case for your friends to decide
I didn't want you
Don't take it on yourself
Put your heartache on the shelf and come away
Just because you got drunk first
Doesn't mean that I don't thirst for you today
You, I wouldn't change, I wouldn't change,
I wouldn't change you if I could,
I never would
'Cause nothing ever felt so good
And you I wouldn't change
I wouldn't change
I wouldn't change you if I could
It's understood
They got hardboard I got solid wood.
Don't take it as as sign
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Don't take it on yourself,
Put your heartache on the shelf and come away
Just because got drunk first
Doesn't mean that I don't thirst for you today
You, I wouldn't change, I wouldn't change,
I wouldn't change you if I could,
I never would
'Cause nothing ever felt so good
And you I wouldn't change
I wouldn't change
I wouldn't change you if I could
It's understood
They got hardboard I got solid wood.
Hey, hey, hey
Solid wood
I got solid wood
Here comes the holiday
With all the invites to the rest home for retards
The Hollywoodesque Cabaret
And wouldn't you know it feels so automatic
And such a subtle response
I never expected to feel so dejected
And with all the spite in the world
I never wanted to be who'd have thought I'd be
Sold Out, like a miner I'm digging for gold
Sold Out, I could never believe what I was told
Let's do the Cadillac stomp
Syphilitic rumba is on my agenda
just like a novel I'd read
It's as crass as a TV commercial
Such a subtle response
I never expected to feel so dejected
With all the spite in the world
1 never wanted to be who would have thought I'd be
Sold Out, like a miner I'm digging for gold
I'm Yo Gotti!
[Chorus]
Pulled up at the show
Half a brick of blow
12 pack of goose, quarter pound of dro
This b*tch is sold out (4x)
We do it for the goons
Sellin' out the club
Fish scale tour
Ain't what you thought it was
This b*tch is sold out (4x)
[Verse 1]
This Yo Gotti
Mic check 1, 2
I love you guys (white girls)
I love you too (Yo Gotti)
We got this motherf*cker jumpin off the hinges,
Ni*gas throwing gang signs, b*tches in a frenzy.
Lined up outside they said this motherf*cker sold out,
Word on the count they said that motherf*cker showed out.
He aint had the platinum on, but girl he broke the gold out
DJ played that gangsta sh*t, the waitress brought the rolls out.
Dope boy fresh, yeah they brought some 24's out
Them hatas stayed at home, but I bet I brought their ho*s out.
HAHAHA yeah I said I brought their ho*s out
Before I leave their city man, I'm burning up their ho*s mouths.
[Chorus]
Pulled up at the show
Half a brick of blow
12 pack of goose, quarter pound of dro
This b*tch is sold out (4x)
We do it for the goons
Sellin' out the club
Fish scale tour
Ain't what you thought it was
This b*tch is sold out (4x)
[Verse 2]
50 dollar hat, hundred on the chain
Thousand dollar jeans, I come to do my thing.
50 on the wanch, twanky on the ring,
Bass hitting hard, club off the chain.
Fire marshall tripping, they want to shut us down
Laws raid the club, they try to shake us down.
Helicopter high, we ain't coming down
You ain't smokin these, this sh*t from out of town.
Goons on stage, security in the crowd
B*tches pull my shirt, plus they want my towels.
They say you cool as hell, and you ain't hollywood
I say I'm real as hell, because I come from the hood.
[Chorus]
Pulled up at the show
Half a brick of blow
12 pack of goose, quarter pound of dro
This b*tch is sold out (4x)
We do it for the goons
Sellin' out the club
Fish scale tour
Ain't what you thought it was
This b*tch is sold out (4x)
[Verse 3]
Wanna book a show, tell me when and where
A half a brick - could be a dro, I'll meet you there.
Hotel exclusive, ni*gas be playing games
With all that monkey sh*t, I'm knocking out your brains.
I'm a hood ni*ga, dog I know the game
Ni*ga want my watch, ni*ga want my chain.
Catch me in your city, walkin through the mall
And I ain't in your city, if I ain't strapped dog.
I'm a bad b*tch, I picked through them all
But I ain't f*cking nothing, if I ain't strapped dog.
Ni*ga started fighting, f*cked up the night
Yeah it's been a ball, but I gotta catch a flight.
[Chorus]
Pulled up at the show
Half a brick of blow
12 pack of goose, quarter pound of dro
This b*tch is sold out (x4)
We do it for the goons
Sellin' out the club
Fish scale tour
Ain't what you thought it was
Our minds are fed every day
The Internet feeds our needs
And we follow every single word
That has ever been told
It's time to get sick
Sicker than you ever were
Sicker than anybody else was
To stick the sickness
Into pieces of our minds
Do not be scared
Today is your day
Do not feel any pain
As this day was already sold
Sold out
We are spoon-fed with bent truth
We're taking it as if it were something new
Our minds are the subject of a global fraud
It is mindless to ignore it
Even on a day like this when you're crawling on the floor
Reaching for the phone to ring anyone who knows you anymore
It's all right to make mistakes
you're only human
Inside everybody's hiding something
Staring at the same four walls, have you tried to help yourself
The rings around your eyes they don't hide, that you need to get some rest
It's all right to make mistakes
you're only human
Inside everybody's hiding something
Take time to catch your breathe and choose your moment
Don't slide
Even at a time like this when the morning seems so far
Think that pain belongs to you but it's happened to us all
It's all right to make mistakes
you're only human
Inside everybody's hiding something
Take time to catch your breathe and choose your moment
Don't slide
You brought this on yourself
and it's high time you left it there
Lie here and rest your head
and dream of something else instead
Soul'd out
I'm going all the way

The Bario starts two streets over
Miguel, he's a friend of mine
With brick weed built a reputation
Like dry ice in the summertime
Now all you need's an electric razor
A magic bullet and a grassy knoll
The whole world's just a little oyster
To Snow White and the Poisoned Apples
I woke up in the age of wires
I fell asleep at the dusk of man
Now I'm cold -
Fingers crossed in the Promised Land
But you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
No you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
No you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
All souled out - in heaven
The Bario starts two streets over
Monsay, she's a friend of mine
Keeps the peace like a whistle blower
Flying kites in the wintertime
Magic carpet is the transportation
Went to the moon in a soda can
Not all my boys believe in science
Stretching truth in the Promised Land
But you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
No you won't be getting in
No you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
It's souled out - in heaven
You know by now
You know by now
You know by now
That you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
That you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
No you won't be getting in
It's souled out - in heaven
No you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
No you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
No you won't be getting in
(You know by now)
To heaven

Hitched a ride to central station
Revelation in my head
Ditched the pride, ditched the label
But the fire isn't dead
Never really had it easy
But I wouldn't change a thing
I don't get what you're about
Coz you are
So sold out
You're just one blank empty page
Now you've got...
No way out
Walked yourself into a cage
It's individuality
When you work it out get back to me
So sold out, you're all the same, all the same
This shallow world we live in
Is hollow to the core
I'm in your face, I'm out of place
Or maybe I am bored
Throw another punch at me
And I'll take it on the chin
I'll flaunt the bruises you deal out
Floating on an egotrip
You'll lose your grip real soon
Karma has a funny way
Of coming back to you
Look at me I'm growing old
Standing out in the cold
I used to be a member of society
And now I'm all alone.
Look at me I'm growing poor
Since I am old, I serve no more,
Me, I had a radical mentality!
Sold out and now I'm sleeping on the floor.
I fucked up!
Why slave for a system that treats you like one?
I sold out!
I remember my youth,
I spoke out for the truth,
You don't see but I used to see equality,
And now I'm no use.
My mistake to sell out,
And it makes me wanna shout.
Me, huh? And my radical mentality,
Attitude, that's what it's all about.
I fucked up!
Why slave for a system that treats you like one?
I sold out!
Oh man, I've gotta go through with this again
What was that? Life, it's hit me in the face again man,
When am I gonna be free, gonna be free of this society?
Gotta get out, be free, get real, and recover all of
the lost dignity,
Cuz oh so you say, that I won't have it my way,
I know it's not easy, but I will be able, you will see.
You people just don't know the strength of my
capabilities.
It's taken too much time to wake up and find insanity.
To know that it was wrong, I stand up and find things
funny now.
Too much time has already passed.
It's time to get the hemorroids out your ass.
I fucked up!
Why do you have hemorroids up your ass?
Carnal things don't amount to nothing
Won't look back, my hands to the plow
And I'm running
For the life of me I can't figure it out
Why you wanna be half-stepping?
Why don't you wanna sell out?
CHORUS
i'm sold out
sold out for jesus
i'm sold out
sold out for jesus
I can count it all joy
Wheh I'm facing fiery tribulations
My God has given me all of the power
To overcome temptation
The Bible says faith with works is dead (so dead)
Just like Nehemiah told Sandbalat
These are the words he said
CHORUS
i'm sold out
sold out for jesus
i'm sold out
sold out for jesus
i'm not comin off the wall, no
iv'e got too much work to do
i'm not comin off the wall, no
until my labor's through
CHORUS
i'm sold out
sold out for jesus
i'm sold out
This form of jealousy is growing childish.
It's annoying and I'm getting tired of it.
You forgot the way to be yourself
and now your telling me I'm trying to be someone else.
So what if we lost our style.
We're trying to make it worth our while.
We're not doing this to prove anything
watch the ice on my necklace bling.
We're in it for the money,
all the groupie honeys.
We want your life so we sold out.
We wanted to be famous with what god gave us.
We sold our souls to the devil last night
and wrote this song (wrote this song).
We sold out (we sold out).
You know we wont make it anyway.
She said, 'That's Too Bad," And,"We're Sorry.'
So what? You say what you wanna say.
('Hey you guys suck' 'sell outs')
So what if we lost our style.
We're trying to make it worth our while.
We're not doing this to prove anything.
Check the sound, yeah, we hold it down.
We're in it for the money,
all the groupie honeys.
We want your life so we sold out.
We wanted to be famous with what god gave us.
We sold our souls to the devil last night
and wrote this song (wrote this song).
We sold out (we sold out).
We wont be around too long.
We're just a fad.
We don't care attentions what we never had.
I sit here and watch the bills come rollin in.
One more time for all the kids
We're in it for the money,
all the groupie honeys.
We want your life so we sold out.
We wanted to be famous with what god gave us,
but we sold our souls to the devil last night.
We're in it for the money,
all the groupie honeys.
We want your life so we sold out.
We wanted to be famous with what god gave us.
We sold our souls to the devil last night
and wrote this song (wrote this song).
Pack your bags and make your way
Block the memories you’ve made
Now’s your chance so don’t delay
Let your blessings waste away
Sold Out
Weight the options in your mind
Count your losses over time
Multiply the benefits you’ll gain
Forget about the price you paid
Sold Out
Once you’re on the other side
You’ll see the wealth you left behind
Well my friends are gone and my hair is gray
I ache in the places where I used to play
And I'm crazy for love but I'm not coming on
I'm just paying my rent every day in the tower of song
I said to Hank Williams, "How lonely does it get?"
Hank Williams hasn't answered yet
But I hear him coughing all night long
Oh, a hundred floors above me in the tower of song
I was born like this, I had no choice
I was born with the gift of a golden voice
And twenty-seven angels from the great beyond
They tied me to this table right here in the tower of song
So you can stick your little pins in that voodoo doll
I'm very sorry, baby, doesn't look like me at all
I'm standing by the window where the light is strong
Ah they don't let a woman kill you not in the tower of song
Now you can say that I've grown bitter but of this you may be sure
The rich have got their channels in the bedrooms of the poor
And there's a mighty judgment coming, but I may be wrong
You see, you hear these funny voices in the tower of song
I see you standing on the other side
I don't know how the river got so wide
I loved you baby, way back when
And all the bridges are burning that we might have crossed
But I feel so close to everything that we lost
We'll never, we'll never have to lose it again
Now I bid you farewell, I don't know when I'll be back
They're moving us tomorrow to that tower down the track
But you'll be hearing from me baby, long after I'm gone
I'll be speaking to you sweetly from a window in the tower of song
Yeah, my friends are gone and my head is gray
I ache in the places where I used to play
And I'm crazy for love but I'm not coming on
