Easton Corbin is a native of Gilchrist County, Florida. He lived on his grandparents' farm following his parents' divorce, and was introduced to country music-themed television programs such as Hee Haw. After taking guitar lessons from session musician Pee Wee Melton at age fourteen, Corbin joined a band, which won an opening slot at a music festival, followed by opening slots for Janie Fricke and Mel McDaniel.
Corbin later attended the University of Florida's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and earned an agribusiness degree, before marrying his wife, Briann, on September 2, 2006. He and Briann then moved to Nashville, Tennessee, on October 14, 2006, where he worked at an Ace Hardware store and performed at writers' nights. A distant cousin, who is a professor of entertainment management, recommended Corbin to contacts in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sheena Easton (born Sheena Shirley Orr; 27 April 1959) is a Scottish recording artist. Easton became famous for being the focus of an episode in the British television programme The Big Time, which recorded her attempts to gain a record contract and her eventual signing with EMI Records. Easton is a two-time Grammy winner and has 15 US Top 40 singles on the Billboard US Pop Singles chart to date. She is the only artist in the history of the Billboard chart to have a Top Five single on all the key charts: Pop/Rock, R&B, Country, Dance, and Adult Contemporary.
Easton rose to fame in the early 1980s with the pop hits "9 to 5" (known as "Morning Train" in the United States), "For Your Eyes Only," "Strut," "Sugar Walls," "U Got the Look" with Prince, and "The Lover in Me." She went on to become successful in the United States and Japan, working with prominent vocalists and producers, such as Prince, Christopher Neil, Kenny Rogers, Luis Miguel, L.A. Reid and Babyface, and Nile Rodgers.
Easton was born Sheena Shirley Orr in the Scottish town of Bellshill, the youngest of six children to steel mill labourer Alex Orr and his wife Annie. She had two brothers (Robert and Alex) and three sisters (Marilyn, Annessa and Morag). Her earliest known public performance as a singer was at the age of five (in 1964), when she sang "Early One Morning" for her uncle and aunt and various relatives at the couple's 25th wedding anniversary celebration.[citation needed]

I'll think things over
All these choices that I've made
These past summer days have gone to waste
Oh what I'd do to live today all over in a different way
Rewind today
I'll go back to those nights when I had the chance to say
I'd live a day where last regrets are never worth the wait
Never worth the wait
All these nights searching for answers
Scripted by an innocent teen dream
Broke down dreams and nicotine
I play this scene, I'm ready to escape
So I'll leave before I got the chance to say
Rewind today
I'll go back to those nights when I had the chance to say
I'd live a day where last regrets are never worth the wait
Are never worth the wait
All these nights out for answers
Only to see them straight ahead
All these nights I'd search for answers
Hoping to find myself again
So I'll leave before I got the chance to say
Rewind today
I'll go back to those nights when I had the chance to say
Rewind today
I'll go back to those nights when I had the chance to say
I'd live a day away, where last regrets are never worth the wait
Never worth the wait
I'll think things over

She closes her eyes, when she dreams my name at night
It makes her days
It makes her days go by with the thought of me on her mind
Her eyes lit up like shooting stars that reached her smile
She is the light that brightens up my skies
Say my name
As a lullaby
I need you hear
To light up my skies
If i get lost, i'll just think of your smile
If i get lost, i'll just think of your smile to find my way, to find my way back home
You showed me the ways to make black light up the place
How can i see if you're not here with me?
Why does time try, to pass us by, with it's moving speeds?
Try not to move
Try not to move
And i'll just meet you there
Say my name
As a lullaby
I need you here
To light up my skies
Just light up my skies
You showed me the ways to make black light up the place
How can i see if you're not here with me?
You showed me the ways to make black light up the place
How can i see if you're not here with me?
If i get lost, i'll just think of your smile
If i get lost, i'll just think of your smile
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your mind
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your side
Don't go run and hide
There's no compromise
Open up your eyes
And you'll see me
Waiting for you
I need some answers so we can try too
The sun comes up, the sun comes up
I hope you're happy, cause I don't need these long drives anymore
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your mind
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your side
We fall too far
And break this thing
The seasons change
My heart has changed
Don't scream my name now
It's far too cold
I don't want you cold
I need some answers so we can try to
The sun comes up, the sun comes up
I hope you're happy, cause I don't need these long drives anymore
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your mind
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your side
Right from the very start
I knew we'd grow apart
Just seperate my lungs for good
Right from the very start
I knew we'd grow apart
Just seperate my lungs for good
So I can breathe the air you breathe
Cause you're what's killing me
Don't make this hard
Don't make this hard
I need some answers so we can try too
The sun comes up, the sun comes up
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your mind
It only took a lifetime, for the rest of your life I was on your side
This spring rain reminds me, of that April day
The sky cleared up so quickly, before I got the chance to say
I caught a cold the day you left
I spent the next three days in bed
Replaying our last kiss in my head
Jersey feels so far away
So far away, so far away
So I'm writing you to say:
Here I am, miles away
Honestly, it's killing me that you're so far
Break away, fall into my arms
It feels like so long since you've been gone
So please hurry
Love always, me
This spring rain reminds me, of that April day
Still haven't sent a letter, so I'm writing you to say:
Here I am, miles away
Honestly, it's killing me that you're so far
Break away, fall into my arms
It feels like so long since you've been gone
So please hurry
You've been haunting my nights
And embracing my days
I just can't seem to find a new way to say
I need some help, so please lend me your hand
I'm not walking the same
You're not the same anymore
Well it's time to say goodbye to your first real try, your first goodbye
It's time to try to say goodbye, to say goodbye, this time
You're leaving faster
I'm breathing faster
I want to let you out
Let you out of my heart
But you have the key
To set me free
So set me free
From this tiny affair
Well it's time to say goodbye, to your first real try, your first goodbye
It's time to try, to say goodbye, to say goodbye, this time
