Bahan-bahan Kek Batik 1 paket biskut marie 125 gram mentega 150 gram coklat masakan 3 biji telur ½ cawan kecil susu segar 3 sudu susu pekat 80 gram milo/horlick Bahan hiasan ½ Coklat masakan / Ganache 2 sudu susu pekat 2 kiub mentega Cara-caranya: Pukul telur sehingga hancur dan dan selepas itu, ketepikan telur itu dahulu. Panaskan susu segar di dalam periuk dengan api kecil tetapi jangan sampai mendidih. Masukkan susu pekat, milo, dan coklat masakan. Kacau hingga larut. Masukkan mentega dan telur, kacau hingga mendidih dan adunan menjadi pekat dan berkilat. Masukkan biskut marie dan gaul hingga rata. Biarkan seketika sehingga biskut agak lembut. Masukkan ke dalam loyang atau acuan yang sesuai dan tekan hingga mampat. Simpan di dalam peti sejuk sebelum dihidangkan. Cara-cara untuk bahan hiasan: Panaskan coklat masakan/ganache secara double boiler. Masukkan susu pekat dan mentega. Kacau hingga sebati. Keluarkan kek batik yang telah disejukkan dan tuang bahan hiasan ini di atas kek batik tersebut. Batik (/ˈbætɪk/ or /bəˈtiːk/; Javanese pronunciation: [ˈbateʔ]; Indonesian: [ˈbatɪk]) is a cloth that is traditionally made using a manual wax-resist dyeing technique. Batik or fabrics with the traditional batik patterns are found in (particularly) Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, Azerbaijan, India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal, and Singapore.
Javanese traditional batik, especially from Yogyakarta and Surakarta, has notable meanings rooted to the Javanese conceptualization of the universe. Traditional colours include indigo, dark brown, and white, which represent the three major Hindu Gods (Brahmā, Vishnu, and Śiva). This is related to the fact that natural dyes are most commonly available in indigo and brown. Certain patterns can only be worn by nobility; traditionally, wider stripes or wavy lines of greater width indicated higher rank. Consequently, during Javanese ceremonies, one could determine the royal lineage of a person by the cloth he or she was wearing.
Other regions of Indonesia have their own unique patterns that normally take themes from everyday lives, incorporating patterns such as flowers, nature, animals, folklore or people. The colours of pesisir batik, from the coastal cities of northern Java, is especially vibrant, and it absorbs influence from the Javanese, Arab, Chinese and Dutch cultures. In the colonial times pesisir batik was a favourite of the Peranakan Chinese, Dutch and Eurasians.[citation needed]
